 (31) SUB-CATEGORY OF PRODUCTS OR CONSTRUCTION SYSTEMS
 THAT WILL REQUIRE PRODUCT APPROVALS:
  
 (31)(A) 2ND REQUEST. EXTERIOR DOORS. PLEASE BE ADVISED
 THE YKK DOOR PRODUCT YHS-50FS DOES NOT HAVE EITHER
 FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL OR MIAMI-DADE NOA. THE
 SUBMITTED SHOP DRAWINGS CAN BE USED CAN BE
 USED AS THE RATIONAL ANALYSIS AS PART OF THE REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION FOR A LOCAL PRODUCT APPROVAL. WE US THE
 SAME 10 CRITERIA AS THE STATE FOR A LOCAL PRODUCT
 APPROVAL. FORMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR A LOCAL PRODUCT
 APPROVAL AND ARE REVIEWED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL
 ROBERT BROWN FOR COMPLIANCE.
  
 (D) 2ND REQUEST. ROOFING PRODUCTS AND ASSEMBLIES, ROOF
 TOP CURBS, ROOF TOP INTAKE AND EXHAUST FANS.
 PLEASE BE ADVISED THE ROOF TOP CURBS ARE FOR SPECIFIC
 EQUIPMENT, NOT A GENERIC DETAIL WE WILL USE THE SAME
 CURB DETAIL FOR THE INTAKE AND EXHAUST. THE ROOF TOP
 FANS ARE USUALLY SUBMITTED UNDER THE BUILDING PERMIT
 SINCE THEY ATTACH TO THE CURB ASSEMBLY AND THE
 ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY FOR THE FAN TO CURB IS ALSO
 SUPPLIED.
  
 THE OTHER ISSUE IS THE DESIGN ISSUES FOR THE EOP SEE
 NOTE # 21 ON SHEET M001 IT WILL PROVIDED BY A DELEGATED
 STRUCTURAL ENGINEER. IF BY A DELEGATE ENGINEER THE
 ASSEMBLY WILL NEED TO BE REVIEWED BY THE ENGINEER OF
 RECORD. FL 61G-15-30.006 (3) THE DELEGATED ENGINEER
 SHALL FORWARD THE DELEGATED ENGINEERING DOCUMENTS TO
 THE ENGINEER OF RECORD FOR REVIEW.
  
 11) 107.3.4.1 THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA
 RULE 9N-3 SHALL BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY
 THE DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR
 JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
  
 12) 2ND REQUEST . SEE COMMENT 10)(D) 2ND REQUEST. FOR
 ALL ROOF TOP EQUIPMENT, CURBS OR A/C STANDS, DETAILED
 ATTACHMENT TO THE ROOF FRAMING & DECK AS WELL AS FROM
 THE CURB OR ROOF STAND TO THE EQUIPMENT ABOVE. 2014
 FBC-B 1604.4 ANALYSIS. LOAD EFFECTS ON STRUCTURAL
 MEMBERS AND THEIR CONNECTIONS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY
 METHODS OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS THAT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT
 EQUILIBRIUM, GENERAL STABILITY, GEOMETRIC COMPATIBILITY
 AND BOTH SHORT- AND LONG-TERM
 MATERIAL PROPERTIES. EVERY STRUCTURE SHALL BE DESIGNED
 TO RESIST THE OVERTURNING EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE LATERAL
 FORCES SPECIFIED IN THIS CHAPTER. SEE SECTION 1609 FOR
 WIND LOADS?

 16) BUILDING PROVISO: CONTRACTOR AT OWN
 RISK!!!RESPONSE. THE ASSUMED MINIMUM SAFE BEARING
 PRESSURE IS INDICATED IN THE PLANS. THE CONTRACTOR
 SHALL ENGAGE THE SERVICES OF A QUALIFIED GEOTECHNICAL
 ENGINEER TO TEST AND CONFIRM THAT THE SOILS, AFTER
 COMPACTION HAVE OBTAINED OR EXCEEDED THIS MINIMUM
 VALUE.
 1ST ROUND OF COMMENTS. WITH THE NEW ELEVATED AIR
 HANDIER STRUCTURE PLEASE PROVIDE WHAT THE SAFE MINIMUM
 BEARING VALUE FOR THIS STRUCTURE. SHEET 018_S1
 FOUNDATION NOTE # 1 THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ENGAGE A
 QUALIFIED GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER TO VERIFY THAT THE
 SOILS EXCHANGE AND PAD COMPACTION HAVE BEEN
 ACCOMPLISHED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 GEOTECHNICAL REPORT. NO SOILS REPORT WAS SUBMITTED.
 2014 FBC-B 1803.5.2 QUESTIONABLE SOIL. WHERE THE
 CLASSIFICATION, STRENGTH OR COMPRESSIBILITY OF THE SOIL
 IS IN DOUBT OR WHERE A LOAD-BEARING VALUE SUPERIOR TO
 THAT SPECIFIED IN THIS CODE IS CLAIMED, THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL SHALL BE PERMITTED TO REQUIRE THAT A
 GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION BE CONDUCTED.
  
 17-18) COMPLIED.
  
 19) BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAY BE ISSUED, IMPACT
 FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE ACTUAL
 PERMIT SET OF PLANS MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT OFFICE, AND
 A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT ATTACHED TO THE PERMIT
 APPLICATION. PLEASE CALL (561)233-5025 FOR MORE

 20) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE
 REVISION & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES

 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
