 1- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND ALL DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS. REVISE VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL THE
 ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING AND BUILDING WORK SHOWN ON PLANS
 AND ALL DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES. PLANS SHOW COMPLETE
 ALTERATION OF THE KITCHEN, INCLUDING THE RELOCATION OF
 THE KITCHEN SINK. NOTE: THERE IS A RED TAG ON THIS
 HOUSE FOR CONSTRUCTION WITHOUT PERMITS. INSPECTOR NOTED
 SHEATHING, LATH, DOORS WORK. THIS SCOPE OF WORK NEEDS
 TO BE ADDED TO THE VALUATION ALSO.
  
 2- ARCHITECT TO PROVIDE COMPLETE DESIGN CRITERIA:
 SPECIFY CURRENT BUILDING CODE, BUILDING EXPOSURE,
 DESIGN PRESSURES FOR EXTERIOR DOORS AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 R301 OF FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014). NOTE:
 EXTERIOR DOORS WERE REPLACED. SEE NOTE ON ITEM #1
 ABOVE.
  
 3- DETAIL SECTION SHOWN ON SHEET 2 OF 2:
 A) SPECIFY SIZE AND SPACING OF FRAMING MEMBERS TO SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE DESIGN PRESSURES OF SEC. R301 OF
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 B) ARCHITECT TO CLARIFY WHY SPECIFYING "LSTA 18 EACH
 RAFTER". THIS IS A STRAP DESIGNED TO TRANSFER TENSION
 LOADS AND DOESN'T PROVIDE UPLIFT LOADS. ALSO, PROVIDE
 DETAIL SHOWING HOW THIS 18" LONG STRAP IS GOING TO BE
 INSTALLED IF THE STRAP IS NOT DESIGNED TO BE BENDED.
 PROVIDE CALCULATIONS SHOWING HOW THIS STRAP WILL RESIST
 THE UPLIFT LOADS OF SEC. R301 OF FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH
 EDITION (2014).
  
 C) ARCHITECT TO SPECIFY HOW THE RAFTERS ARE FASTENED TO
 THE EXISTING RAFTERS TO RESIST THE LOADS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R301 OF FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014). THERE
 IS A NOTE THAT READS "OVERLAP HEALTHY EXISTING RAFTERS
 MIN. 3'-0", SECURELY SPIKE TOGETHER". THIS IS NOT AN
 ACCEPTABLE SPECIFICATION. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 D) PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION FOR THE SOFFIT
 MATERIALS AND INSTALLATION SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH SEC.
 R703.1.3 OF FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 E) PROVIDE COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE ROOF
 SHEATHING. SPECIFY TYPE OF WOOD AND NAIL SIZE AND
 SPACING SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. R803.2.3.1 OF
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014). NOTE: 8D RING
 SHANK NAILS ARE REQUIRED.
  
 4- PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 EXTERIOR WALL AREAS THAT NEED TO BE REPAIRED AS NOTED
 ON ITEM #1 ABOVE WITH THE INSPECTOR RED TAG. SEC. R301
 OF FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 5- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.002(33) FOR:
 A) EXTERIOR DOORS A SHOWN ON PLANS AND NOTE ON ITEM #1
 ABOVE.
  
 B) ROOF SHINGLES FOR THE OVERHANG EXTENSION AS SHOWN ON
 PLANS
  
 C) SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTOR SPECIFIED ON PLANS.
 PROVIDE ONLY THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER PAGE
 AND PAGE SHOWING THE ARCHITECT'S SPECIFIED CONNECTOR OR
 ARCHITECT TO LIST THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL NUMBER
 NEXT TO THE SPECIFIED CONNECTOR.
  
 6- ARCHITECT TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING (NOT
 SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 NOTE: A SEPARATE ROOFING SUB-PERMIT WILL BE REQUIRED
 FOR THE SHINGLES INSTALLATION. ALSO, A SEPARATE PERMIT
 IS REQUIRED FOR A/C WORK.
