 6A) 2ND REQUEST. THE RESPONSE INDICATES COMPLIANCE WITH
 THE ADA OF 1990 SECTION 202.3: EXCEPTION3.
 PLEASE SEE THE SECTIONS LISTED BELOW ARE UNDER THE
 FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE ENACTED BECAUSE OF
 REMODELING, ALTERATIONS TO THE BUILDING. THE ONLY
 RELIEF TO THIS PORTION OF THE CODE LISTED BELOW AND ALL
 SECTIONS IS THE 20% DISPROPORTIONATE COST. THE ACCESS.
 CODE REQUIRES 20% OF THE CONTRACT VALUE OR AN
 ADDITIONAL $40,000.00 DOLLARS BE SPENT IN ACCESSIBLE
 UPGRADES AS LISTED BELOW. IF FULL COMPLIANCE CANNOT BE
 ACCOMPLISHED WITH THE $40,000.00 DOLLARS THEN AN
 ITEMIZED LIST OF HOW THE FUNDS ARE TO BE SPENT IN THE
 FOLLOWING ORDER, PLEASE HAVE THE ITEMIZED LIST ON
 EITHER THE ARCHITECTS OR CONTRACTORS LETTERHEAD.
  
 202.4.2 ACCESSIBLE FEATURES IN THE EVENT OF
 DISPROPORTIONALITY.
 WHEN THE COST OF ALTERATIONS NECESSARY TO MAKE THE PATH
 OF TRAVEL TO THE ALTERED AREA FULLY ACCESSIBLE IS
 DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE COST OF THE OVERALL ALTERATION,
 THE PATH OF TRAVEL SHALL BE MADE ACCESSIBLE TO THE
 EXTENT THAT IT CAN BE MADE ACCESSIBLE WITHOUT INCURRING
 DISPROPORTIONATE COSTS. IN CHOOSING WHICH ACCESSIBLE
 ELEMENTS TO PROVIDE, PRIORITY SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THOSE
 ELEMENTS THAT WILL PROVIDE THE GREATEST ACCESS, IN THE
 FOLLOWING ORDER: (I) AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE; (II) AN
 ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO THE ALTERED AREA; (III) AT LEAST
 ONE ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM FOR EACH SEX OR A SINGLE UNISEX
 RESTROOM; (IV) ACCESSIBLE TELEPHONES; (V) ACCESSIBLE
 DRINKING FOUNTAINS; AND (VI) WHEN POSSIBLE, ADDITIONAL
 ACCESSIBLE ELEMENTS SUCH AS PARKING, STORAGE, AND
 ALARMS.
  
  
 COMMENTS FROM THE 1ST REVIEW.
 PLEASE NOTE THE PLANS AND PERMIT APPLICATION INDICATE
 THE RENOVATION OF 10 DORMITORY ROOMS. PLEASE REVIEW
 SECTION 224.7 OF THE 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE. 224.7
 HOUSING AT A PLACE OF EDUCATION. HOUSING AT A PLACE OF
 EDUCATION SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS FOR
 TRANSIENT LODGING GUEST ROOMS IN SECTIONS 224 AND 806,
 SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS. THE TERM SLEEPING
 ROOM IS INTENDED TO BE USED INTERCHANGEABLY WITH THE
 TERM GUEST ROOM AS IT IS USED IN THE TRANSIENT LODGING
 STANDARDS.
  
 FBC - ACCESS. CODE 224.1.1 ALTERATIONS.
 WHERE GUEST ROOMS ARE ALTERED OR ADDED, THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF 224 SHALL APPLY ONLY TO THE GUEST ROOMS
 BEING ALTERED OR ADDED UNTIL THE NUMBER OF GUEST ROOMS
 COMPLIES WITH THE MINIMUM NUMBER REQUIRED FOR NEW
 CONSTRUCTION.
 ADVISORY 224.1.1 ALTERATIONS.
 IN ALTERATIONS AND ADDITIONS, THE MINIMUM REQUIRED
 NUMBER OF ACCESSIBLE GUEST ROOMS IS BASED ON THE TOTAL
 NUMBER OF GUEST ROOMS ALTERED OR ADDED INSTEAD OF THE
 TOTAL NUMBER OF GUEST ROOMS PROVIDED IN A FACILITY.
 TYPICALLY, EACH ALTERATION OF A FACILITY IS LIMITED TO
 A PARTICULAR PORTION OF THE FACILITY. WHEN ACCESSIBLE
 GUEST ROOMS ARE ADDED AS A RESULT OF SUBSEQUENT
 ALTERATIONS, COMPLIANCE WITH 224.5 (DISPERSION) IS MORE
 LIKELY TO BE ACHIEVED IF ALL OF THE ACCESSIBLE GUEST
 ROOMS ARE NOT PROVIDED IN THE SAME AREA OF THE
 FACILITY.
  
 6B) FBC-ACCESS. CODE 224.4 GUEST ROOMS WITH
 COMMUNICATION FEATURES.
 IN TRANSIENT LODGING FACILITIES, GUEST ROOMS WITH
 COMMUNICATION FEATURES COMPLYING WITH 806.3 SHALL BE
 PROVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH TABLE 224.4.
  
 7) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
