 THE PLANS RE-SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW CONSIST OF A
 RE-DESIGN FROM THE 1ST REVIEW. THE ARCHITECTURAL AND
 LIFE SAFETY PLANS SUBMITTED ARE LIMITED IN SCOPE AND
 GENERAL IN NATURE. A THOROUGH REVIEW CANNOT BE
 PERFORMED AT THIS TIME. THE ATTACHED LIST OF ITEMS IS
 FOR GUIDANCE ONLY AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A FINAL
 LIST OF COMMENTS TO BE ADDRESSED BY THE DESIGN TEAM.
 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS MAY BE GENERATED UPON RE-SUBMITTAL
 OF PLANS.
  
 1. PROVIDE DETAIL OF NEW ISOLATED SPREAD FOOTINGS.
 2. PROVIDE DETAIL & SHOP DRAWINGS OF NEW STRUCTURAL
 STEEL SKELETON STRUCTURE.
 3. PROVIDE SHOP DRAWINGS OF NEW STAIRS (BY OTHERS).
 4. PROVIDE SHORING PLAN FOR REMOVAL OF STRUCTURAL
 SLABS.
 5. PROVIDE DETAIL OF EXISTING WALLS TO BE USED AS PART
 OF RATED SHAFT. WALLS SHALL COMPLY WITH FBC 706 (WALLS)
 AND 713 (SHAFTS).
 6. PROVIDE DETAIL OF NEW WALLS TO BE USED AS PART OF
 RATED SHAFT. WALLS SHALL COMPLY WITH UL 404 PER PLANS.
 7. PROVIDE DETAIL OF RATED DOOR ASSEMBLY. DOORS SHALL
 BE RATED PER FBC TABLE 716.5 AND INSTALLED PER NFPA 80.
 8. PROVIDE EXIT DOOR HARDWARE SPECS.
 9. PROVIDE STAIRWAY ILLUMINATION PER FBC 1011.3.
 10. LABEL STAIRS ACCORDING TO THE JEZERINAC GROUP'S
 REPORT. STAIR # 1 AND STAIR #2. LOBBY STAIRS ARE
 EXISTING AND ARE OUTSIDE THE SCOPE OF THIS SUBMITTAL.
 11. PROVIDE LIFE SAFETY PLAN INDICATING PATH OF TRAVEL
 AND EXIT DISCHARGE TO A PUBLIC WAY, DISTANCE TO EXIT'S,
 EMERGENCY ILLUMINATION AND RATED WALLS.
 12. VALUE OF PROJECT APPEARS LOW.
 13. MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL & PLUMBING PERMITS REQUIRED.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE
 LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE CITY
 RE-SUBMITTAL FORM. PLEASE, ADDITIONALLY, INSERT
 CORRECTED PAGES INTO SUBMITTAL AND LEAVE THE PREVIOUSLY
 REVIEWED SHEETS DETACHED.
  
 FBC 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION. FOR PERMITTING
 PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE
 TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL,
 ELECTRIC, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR FINISH,
 RELATIVE SITE WORK, ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES,
 MARKETING COSTS, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY
 LAND VALUE. VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST
 PUBLISHED DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS
 SERVICES (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.), AS PUBLISHED BY
 INTERNATIONAL CODE CONGRESS. FINAL BUILDING PERMIT
 VALUATION SHALL BE SET BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
 FAILURE TO PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION OF ESTIMATED COSTS MAY
 DELAY THE APPLICATION PROCESS.
