 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) THE COVERSHEET A1.1 CODE SUMMARY, APPLICABLE CODES
 NOTE 1.3 FIRE SPRINKLER WORK SHALL COMPLY WITH THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF NFPA 13, 2010 EDITION. UNDERTHE HEADING
 BUILDING CODES NOTE NEW CONSTRUCTION 2.2 TYPE IIB / NOT
 SPRINKLERED. SHEET 3.1 NOTE: NEW SPRINKLER HEAD FOR NEW
 RECESSED COMMON AREA. THERE IS A DISCREPANCY IN THE
 PLANS, PLEASE CORRECT. 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
 IS REQUIRED.
  
 2) SHEET 3.1:
 2A) THE MAIN ENTRY TO THE RECEPTION AREA SHOWS A PAIR
 OF DOUBLE DOORS ON MAGNETIC HOLD OPEN DEVICES AND A
 SECOND PAIR OF DOORS, THE ONE DOOR IS LABELED ENACTIVE.
 PLEASE PROVIDE THE TYPE OF HARDWARE ON THESE PAIRS OF
 DOORS. THE DOOR HARDWARE SHALL COMPLY WITH THE 2014
 FBC-B SECTION 1008.1.9.1 HARDWARE.
 DOOR HANDLES, PULLS, LATCHES, LOCKS AND OTHER OPERATING
 DEVICES ON DOORS REQUIRED TO BE ACCESSIBLE BY CHAPTER
 11 SHALL NOT REQUIRE TIGHT GRASPING, TIGHT PINCHING OR
 TWISTING OF THE WRIST TO OPERATE.
 THE INACTIVE DOOR MUST RELEASE WHEN A PERSON IN A
 WHEELCHAIR NEEDS TO EXIT THE TENANT SPACE. 2014
 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY:
  
 309.3 HEIGHT. OPERABLE PARTS SHALL BE PLACED WITHIN ONE
 OR MORE OF THE REACH RANGES SPECIFIED IN 308.
  
 309.4 OPERATION. OPERABLE PARTS SHALL BE OPERABLE WITH
 ONE HAND AND SHALL NOT REQUIRE TIGHT GRASPING,
 PINCHING, OR TWISTING OF THE WRIST. THE FORCE REQUIRED
 TO ACTIVATE OPERABLE PARTS SHALL BE 5 POUNDS (22.2 N)
 MAXIMUM.
  
 2B) THE 2ND ISSUE IS WITH THE NEW DOOR # 218A. SINCE
 BOTH DOORS OF DOOR 200 HAVE TO BE ACTIVE THEY BLOCK THE
 EGRESS OF DOOR 218A.
  
 2014 FBC-B 1005.7.1 DOORS. DOORS, WHEN FULLY OPENED,
 SHALL NOT REDUCE THE REQUIRED WIDTH BY MORE THAN 7
 INCHES (178 MM). DOORS IN ANY POSITION SHALL NOT REDUCE
 THE REQUIRED WIDTH BY MORE THAN ONE-HALF.
  
 3) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
