 PLEASE ADDRESS THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS IN WRITING AND/OR
 ON THE PLANS WHERE APPLICABLE:
  
 1.) AN UPDATED SIGNED AND SEALED SURVEY OF THE
 PROPERTY, PREPARED BY A FLORIDA LICENSED LAND SURVEYOR
 IS REQUIRED. THE SURVEY MUST ILLUSTRATE THE DIMENSIONS
 OF THE LOT AND ALL APPLICABLE SETBACKS OF THE LOT AS IT
 RELATES TO THE DOCK CONSTRUCTION (I.E. MIDDLE
 ONE-THIRD).
  
 2.) ALL PORTIONS OF THE DOCK, INCLUDING PILINGS,
 BOATLIFTS AND OTHER MOORING-RELATED FACILITIES SHALL BE
 CONSTRUCTED IN THE MIDDLE ONE-THIRD OF THE LOT ON WHICH
 THE DOCK IS CONSTRUCTED. PLEASE ILLUSTRATE THAT ALL
 PORTIONS OF THE DOCK IS PLACED IN THE MIDDLE ONE-THIRD
 OF THE LOT. [ZLDR S.94-314(A)(3)H.]
  
 3.) THE DOCK LENGTH SHALL BE MEASURED FROM THE MEAN
 HIGH WATERLINE OR THE BULKHEAD, TO THE FURTHEST POINT
 OF THE DOCK, FINGER PIER, OR TERMINAL PLATFORM. THE
 MAXIMUM DOCK LENGTH SHALL NOT EXCEED 100 FEET. [ZLDR
 S.94-314(A)(3)I.]
  
 4.) THE MAXIMUM WIDTH OF THE DOCK SHALL NOT EXCEED 10
 FEET. FINGER PIERS AND TERMINAL PLATFORMS WHICH ARE
 GENERALLY PERPENDICULAR TO THE DOCK AND PARALLEL TO THE
 SEAWALL, BULKHEAD, OR RIPARIAN PROPERTY LINE MAY BE
 GREATER THAN 10 FEET IN WIDTH (MEASURED PARALLEL TO THE
 DOCK) PROVIDED THAT THEY REMAIN WITHIN THE MIDDLE
 ONE-THIRD OF THE PROPERTY AND DO NOT EXCEED 10 FEET IN
 LENGTH (MEASURED PERPENDICULAR TO THE DOCK). [ZLDR

 5.) THE PLANS SUBMITTED TO DEP SHOWS A GAZEBO STRUCTURE
 AT THE END OF THE DOCK, WHICH IS NOT NOTED IN THE
 ENGINEERING DRAWINGS. PLEASE NOTE THAT PURSUANT TO
 SECTION 94-314(A)(3)K. OF THE ZONING AND LAND
 DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS (ZLDR), NO STRUCTURES OR
 BUILDINGS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED ON THE PROPOSED DOCK.
  
 6.) AT LEAST ONE LADDER SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR THE DOCK,
 EXTENDING FROM THE DOCK SURFACE TO 2 FEET BELOW THE
 MEAN WATER LINE. [ZLDR S.94-314(A)(3)L.]
  
 7.) WILL THERE BE A SECURITY FENCE TO PREVENT
 UNAUTHORIZED ENTRY TO THE DOCK? IF SO, THE SECURITY
 FENCE MAY BE CONSTRUCTED ON A DOCK TO CONSIST OF RAILS
 AND STILES WHICH DO NOT EXCEED ONE AND ONE-QUARTER
 INCHES IN CROSS SECTIONS AND WHICH ARE PLACED NO CLOSER
 THAN THREE AND NO FURTHER THAN FOUR INCHES ON CENTER.
 SECURITY FENCES MAY BE CONSTRUCTED OF ALUMINUM, WROUGHT
 IRON, STEEL, OR OTHER SIMILAR METAL. CHAIN LINK FENCING
 SHALL BE PROHIBITED. [ZLDR S.94-314(4)]
