 1- SCOPE OF WORK WAS CHANGED. REVISED PLANS SHOW
 CONVERSION OF THE GARAGE AND PORCH TO BEDROOMS. BRING
 PLANS TO PALM BEACH COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD.) FOR IMPACT
 FEES ASSESSMENT. BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED PLANS AND
 COPY OF PAID RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE. COUNTY IMPACT FEE
 ORDINANCE OF THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE.
  
 2- PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS. SEC. R101.4.3 OF
 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION, 5TH EDITION (2014). (REPEAT
 COMMENT).
  
 3- SHEET A1:
 A) ENGINEER OF RECORD TO PROVIDE FRAMING DETAILS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE INFILL OF ALL OPENINGS IN THE
 EXISTING PORCH AND GARAGE. SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL,
 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 B) NOTE #1 OF SCOPE OF WORK SAYS "DEMOLISH ENTIRE
 REMAINS OF THE FIRE DAMAGED ROOF AND INSTALL TOTALLY
 NEW ROOF". PLANS DON'T SHOW AREA OF FIRE AND DON'
 PROVIDE ANY SPECIFICATIONS REGARDING THE REQUIRED
 REPAIRS. PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS
 SHOWING HOW THE AREA IS REPAIRED. SEC. R301.1

 DRAWING. CLARIFY IF THE ATTIC ACCESS IS NEW. IF SO
 PROVIDE DIMENSIONS TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. R807
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 4- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.002(33) FOR:
 A) SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS. DRAWINGS SUBMITTED WITH FLORIDA
 PRODUCT APPROVAL FL15699-R2 DON'T MATCH. DRAWINGS
 SUBMITTED ARE FOR THE SH 3700 SERIES WINDOWS, WHILE
 FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL FL15699-R2 IS FOR THE SH 3100
 SERIES WINDOWS. PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL AND DRAWINGS
 THAT MATCH.
  
 B) EXTERIOR DOORS. DRAWINGS SUBMITTED WITH FLORIDA
 PRODUCT APPROVAL FL13540-R3 DON'T MEET THE DESIGN
 PRESSURES CALCULATED BY THE ENGINEER OF RECORD. ALSO,
 THE DRAWINGS ARE NOT LEGIBLE. PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL
 THAT MEETS THE CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURES AND PROVIDE
 LEGIBLE COPIES.
  
 C) WINDOW MULLIONS:
 (1) FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL FL 16051-R0 SUBMITTED IS
 FOR 2010 CODE VERSION. NEED TO PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL
 FOR THE CURRENT CODE VERSION. THE CURRENT CODE IS 2014.
 (REPEAT COMMENT).
  
 (2) SPECIFY SIZE OF MULLIONS TO BE USED TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE DESIGN PRESSURES OF SEC. R301 OF
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014). (REPEAT COMMENT).
  
 D) NEW COMMENT: ROOF PRODUCT APPROVAL. COORDINATE WITH
 REVISED PLANS AND ITEM #3(B) ABOVE.
  
 5- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 ****PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH
 COMMENT TO EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
 ****PLEASE INSERT ANY REVISED DRAWING AND REMOVE OLD
 DRAWING. DON'T STAPLE OLD DRAWINGS. SUBMIT OLD DRAWINGS
 FOR REFERENCE.
