 1) DIGITAL PLAN REVIEW SHEET 0212-A2.02 REV. # 14.5
 SHOWS TWO AREAS WHERE FENCING AND GATES HAVE BEEN ADDED
 TO WHAT APPEARS TO SEPARATE THE POOL AREA FROM THE
 HOTEL. THE CODE SECTION SITED ON THIS SHEET 2010 FBC-B
 1021.1 EXCEPTION # 6. THIS EXCEPTION DOES NOT TAKE INTO
 ACCOUNT THAT THE FENCE AND GATE SYSTEM ON THE EAST SIDE
 OF THE POOL REQUIRE RE-ENTRY INTO THE BUILDING IF THESE
 GATES ARE BEING CONSIDERED PART OF THE EGRESS. PLEASE
 REVIEW 2010 FBC-B 1027.1
 AND EXCEPTIONS. THE PLAN DOES NOT SHOW RE-ENTRY AS PART
 OF THE MEANS OF EGRESS.
  
 THIS LEAVES THE CONNECTOR PASSAGEWAY TO THE SOUTHWEST
 CORNER OF THE LOT AND THE FENCE AND GATE SYSTEM TO THE
 NORTHWEST AS THE 2 MEANS OF EGRESSUNDER SECTION FBC-B
 1021.1 EXCEPTION # 6.
  
 1A) IN THE NORTHWEST CORNER THE EGRESS GATE SYSTEM
 NEEDS TO COMPLY WITH (2) REQUIREMENTS IN THE CODE, THEY
 ARE EQUALLY IMPORTANT AND COMPLIANCE WITH BOTH SECTIONS
 HAS TO BE ACHIVED;
 2010 FBC-B 424.1.3.1.9 A SELF CLOSING, SELF- LATCHING
 LOCKABLE GATES OF 48 INCHES MINIMAL HEIGHT FROM THE
 FLOOR OR GROUND WITH THE LATCH LOCATED A MINMUM OF 54
 INCHES FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE GATE OR AT LEAST 3 INCHES
 BELOW THE TOP OF THE GATE ON THE POOL SIDE. GATES SHALL
 OPEN OUTWARD AWAY FROM THE POOL.
  
 1B) THE OTHER ISSUE IS WITH SEECTION 2010 FBC-B
 1008.1.10 THE GATES WILL ALSO REQUIRE COMPLIANCE WITH
 THE 2010 FBC-B SECTION 1008.1.10 PANIC HARDWARE AND OR
 FIRE HARDWARE. WHEN THERE WAS A FENCED IN AREA AROUND
 THE POOL THIS ISSUE CAME UP AND WAS BROUGHT TO THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL ROBERT BROWN WHICH WAS THE MOST
 RESTRICTIVE AND HAD TO COMPLY. ROBERTS DECISSION WAS
 BOTH CODE SECTIONS HAD TO HAVE COMPLIANCE.
  
 2) IN THE SOUTHWEST CORNER WHERE EXITING OCCURS THROUGH
 THE CONNECTOR PLEASE SHOW HOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2
 ABOVE CODE SECTIONS WILL BE ACHIEVED.
  
 3) WITH THE OTHER DOORS THAT SURROUND THE POOL THAT ARE
 NOT DESIGNATED AS EGRESS DOORS HOW WILL COMPLIANCE WITH
 424,1,3,1,9 BE ACHIEVED.
 3A) THE DOORS WILL NEED TO SWING OUTWARD AWAY FROM THE
 POOL.
 3B) SELF LATCHING, SELF LOCKING AND HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS
 OF THE LATCH.
