 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE

 1) SHEET S-1 MENTIONS SLAB ON GRADE COMPACTION, BUT THE
 PLANS DO NOT PROVIDE WHAT THE MINIMUM SAFE BEARING
 VALUE WOULD BE FOR THE ADDITION, NEITHER WAS A SOILS
 REPORT SUBMITTED REVIEWED BY THE ENGINEER OF RECORD.
 2014 FBC-B 1803.5.2 QUESTIONABLE SOIL.
 WHERE THE CLASSIFICATION, STRENGTH OR COMPRESSIBILITY
 OF THE SOIL IS IN DOUBT OR WHERE A LOAD-BEARING VALUE
 SUPERIOR TO THAT SPECIFIED IN THIS CODE IS CLAIMED, THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL SHALL BE PERMITTED TO REQUIRE THAT A
 GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION BE CONDUCTED.
  
 2) THE STRUCTURAL SHEETS INDICATE THE USE OF STRUCTURAL
 STEEL CONSTRUCTION. THIS BUILDING QUALIFIES FOR A
 RESIDENT INSPECTOR BECAUSE OF EITHER BOLTED STEEL
 CONNECTIONS OR WELDED CONNECTIONS. RESIDENT INSPECTORS
 ARE HIRED THROUGH THE OWNER AND PAID THROUGH THE OWNER.
 UNDER A RESIDENT INSPECTOR THE INSPECTIONS CAN BE
 LIMITED TO THE STRUCTURAL STEEL CONNECTIONS AND WELDED

 2A) RESIDENT INSPECTOR FORMS MUST BE SIGNED BY ALL

 DEPARTMENT.
  
 2B) FOR THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR PLEASE PROVIDE A RESUME'
 OF INSPECTION EXPERIENCE ON PREVIOUS PROJECT. THE
 RESUME' MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY ALL CERTIFICATES AS
 SPECIFIED HEREIN. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL OR HIS DESIGNEE
 WILL REVIEW THE RESUME'.
 2C) THE CONTRACTOR WILL PRODUCE A JOB SUMMARY OR
 HISTORY FOR THIS TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION.

 NEXT REVIEW OR ON WRITTEN REQUEST BE CONSIDERED AS A
 DEFERRED SUBMITTAL.
 3A) 107.3.4.2 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. FOR THE PURPOSES OF
 THIS SECTION, DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ARE DEFINED AS THOSE
 PORTIONS OF THE DESIGN THAT ARE NOT SUBMITTED AT THE
 TIME OF THE
 APPLICATION AND THAT ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A SPECIFIED PERIOD.
 DEFERRAL OF ANY SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL HAVE THE PRIOR
 APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE
 REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE
 SHALL LIST THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON
 THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.
 DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE REGISTERED DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE WHO SHALL REVIEW
 THEM AND FORWARD THEM TO THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION INDICATING THAT THE
 DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND FOUND TO BE IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE TO
 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL
 ITEMS SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL THE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING

 FBC-B 2405.2 ALLOWABLE GLAZING MATERIALS AND
 LIMITATIONS.
 SLOPED GLAZING SHALL BE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS,
 SUBJECT TO THE LISTED LIMITATIONS.
