 OF LIQIUDS ARE TO BE STORED IN THESE SILOS.
 PLEASE PROVIDE MSDS SHEETS FOR THE LIQUID TO BE STORED.
 THE UNKNOWN ELEMENT TO BE STORED IN THE TANKS, THIS
 CODE SECTION MAY OR MAY NOT BE APPLICABLE.
 2014 FBC-B 415.8 H2 OCCUPANCY.
 2014 FBC-B 415.2.2 TANK PROTECTION.
 2014 FBC-B 415.8.2.4 LEAKAGE CONTAINMENT. A
 LIQUID-TIGHT CONTAINMENT AREA COMPATIBLE WITH THE
 STORED LIQUID SHALL BE PROVIDED. THE METHOD OF SPILL
 CONTROL, DRAINAGE CONTROL AND SECONDARY CONTAINMENT
 SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION
 CODE. EXCEPTION: ROOMS WHERE ONLY DOUBLE-WALL STORAGE
 TANKS CONFORMING TO SECTION 415.8.2.3 ARE USED TO STORE
 CLASS I, II AND IIIA FLAMMABLE AND COMBUSTIBLE LIQUIDS
 SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED TO HAVE A LEAKAGE CONTAINMENT
 AREA.
  
 1B) THE PLANS INDICATE THE INSTALATION OF 2 SILO TANKS
 WHERE AS THE PERMIT APPLICATION INDICATES 3 S. S. SILO
 TANKS? DISCREPANCY PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATUION. 107.2.1.3.
  
 2) IF THE TERM SECONDARY CONTAINMENT IS A REQUIREMENT,
 SHEET 2 INDICATES 2 NEW OPENINGS BEING CUT IN THE WALL
 BETWEEN THE 2 NEW SILO TANKS, HOW WILL THE SECONDARY
 CONTAINMENT WORK WITH OPENINGS IN THE WALL. 107.2.1.3
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 3) SHEET 2 OF 6 INDICATES SILOS BY OTHERS. IT WOULD
 SEEM THE SILOS' WOULD BE A CRITICAL PART OF THIS
 PERMIT. WITHOUT THE KNOWLDGE OF WHAT IS TO BE
 CONTAINED, GALLONS OF LIQUID, TYPE OF LIQUID, WEIGHT OF
 LIQUID AND TANK, HOW CAN THE THICKNESS AND STRENGTH OF
 THE RE-INFORCED CONCRETE SLAB BE CALCULATED? HOW CAN
 THE ENGINEERING BE CALCULATED FOR THE MOMENT OF
 OVERTURNING? AT THIS TIME THERE ARE TO MANY UNKNOWNS TO
 BE ABLE TO DO A COMPLETE REVIEW ON THE SILO'S AND
 ADJACENT BUILDING. A THOROUGH REVIEW CANNOT BE MADE AT
 THIS TIME, AS A RESULT OF THE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
 REQUESTED ADDITIONAL COMMENTS MAY APPEAR THAT WERE NOT
 PART OF THIS REVIEW.
  
 4) SHEET S-4 SHOWS EXISITNG REFRIGARATED STORAGE AND
 NEW LOADING DOCK. DETAIL # 1 SHOWS A DEMO PLAN TO
 REMOVE SWING DOORS AND TO ENLARGE DOORS TO 84X90 INCHES
 OVERHEAD DOOR. PLEASE PROVIDE A EGRESS PLAN OF THE
 REFRIGARATED STORAGE AND NEW LOADING DOCK, THE CONCERN
 IS THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS FOR THE REFRIGARATED STORAGE
 ROOM. PROVIDE SQUARE FOOTAGE OF UNIT, TRAVEL DISTANCES,
 IF FIRE SPRINKLERED OR NOT AND AMOUNT OF EGRESSES.
 2014 FBC-B 1015.5. ROOMS OR SPACES HAVING A FLOOR AREA
 LARGER THAN 1,000 SQUARE FEET (93 M2), CONTAINING A
 REFRIGERANT EVAPORATOR AND MAINTAINED AT A TEMPERATURE
 BELOW 68?F (20?C), SHALL HAVE ACCESS TO NOT LESS THAN
 TWO EXITS OR EXIT ACCESS DOORWAYS.
  
 TRAVEL DISTANCE SHALL BE DETERMINED AS SPECIFIED IN
 SECTION 1016.1, BUT ALL PORTIONS OF A REFRIGERATED ROOM
 OR SPACE SHALL BE WITHIN 150 FEET (45 720 MM) OF AN
 EXIT OR EXIT ACCESS DOORWAY WHERE SUCH ROOMS ARE NOT
 PROTECTED BY AN APPROVED AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM.
 EGRESS IS ALLOWED THROUGH ADJOINING REFRIGERATED ROOMS
 OR SPACES.
  
 5) SHEET 4 OF 6 INDICATES A DETAIL A/ S-2 THERE IS NO
 SUCH DETAIL THROUGH THE NEW SLAB AND RETAINING WALL
 FOUND ON S-2. PLEASE PROVIDE A DETAIL FOR THE RETAING
 WALL, WITH ELEVATIONS TO SEE HOW MUCH FILL IS TO BE
 RETAINED AGAINST THIS WALL? THE NOTE ON THIS PAGE
 INDICATES THE WALL TO BE A STEM WALL NOT A RETAINING
 WALL, THE BLOCK WORK SHOWN IN DETAIL A/ 4 WITH FINISH
 CONCRETE SLAB IS 72 INCHES IN HEIGHT. 2014 FBC-B 1807.2
 RETAINING WALLS SHALL BE DESIGNED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 SECTION 1807.2.1 THROUGH 1807.2.4.
  
 6) SHEET 5 OF 6 SHOWS A WALL SECTION OF THE NEW
 ADDITION. THE SIZE OF THE REBAR AND SPACING IS NOT
 PROVIDED, FOR THE WALL FROM FINISH FLOOR TO BEAM. WALL
 HEIGHT IS 15 FEET TALL WITH NO INTERMEDIATE BEAM. THE
 PLANS FAIL TO PROVIDE WHAT THE SIZE OF THE STEEL IS IN
 THE SINGLE COURSE OF BEAM BLOCK, NOR DOES THE PLANS
 INDICATE THE HORIZONTAL STEEL IN THE BEAMS ABOVE THE
 DOOR OPENINGS OR IF LINTELS WILL BE USED, AND AMOUNT OF
 STEEL OF IF A COMBINATION OF LINTELS AND BEAM BLOCK
 WITH HAIR PINS WOULD BE REQUIRED.
  
 7) SHEET 5 OF 6 DOES NOT PROVIDE A END DETAIL OF THE
 WALL IS THE BLOCK WORK TO CONTINUE UP THE RACK OF THE
 WALL, IS THERE A DROPPED BEAM AND CATELIVERED OVERHANG
 ON THE END WALLS ? PLANS ARE INSEFICIENT ENOUGH IN
 DETIALS FOR PLAN REVIEW. . A THOROUGH REVIEW CANNOT BE
 MADE AT THIS TIME, AS A RESULT OF THE ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION REQUESTED ADDITIONAL COMMENTS MAY APPEAR
 THAT WERE NOT PART OF THIS REVIEW.
  
 8) BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAY BE ISSUED, IMPACT
 FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE ACTUAL
 PERMIT SET OF PLANS MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT OFFICE, AND
 A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT ATTACHED TO THE PERMIT

 9) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
