 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) THE A2.3 & M2 SHEETS SHOW 3 NEW RTU UNITS ON THE
 EXISITNG ROOF TOP. PLEASE PROVIDE A ROOF FRAMING PLAN
 SHOWING THE NEW ROOF TOP OPENINGS THE NEW FRAMING
 MEMBERS, HEADERS, HANGERS AND OR BUCKETS FOR THE NEW
 OPENINGS. 2014 FBC-B 2308.10.4.3.
  
 2) PLEASE PROVIDE THE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE NEW RTU
 ROOF TOP CURBS, ROOF PATCHING AROUND THE CURBS AND NEW
 EXHAUST VENT. 2014 FBC-B 1609.1.2 PROTECTION OF
 OPENINGS, 1609.6.4.4.1 COMPONENTS & CLADDING. FLORIDA

 RULE 9N-3SHALL BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY
 THE DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR
 JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
  
 4) PLEASE ALSO PROVIDE THE TIE DOWN OF THE ROOF TOP RTU
 UNIT TO THE ROOF TOP CURBS. 2014 FBC-B COMPONENTS AND
 CLADDING 1609.6.4.4.1.2014 FBC-B 1603.1.4 WIND DESIGN
 DATA.
 THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION RELATED TO WIND LOADS SHALL
 BE SHOWN, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WIND LOADS GOVERN THE
 DESIGN OF THE LATERAL FORCE-RESISTING SYSTEM OF THE
 STRUCTURE:
  
 4.1. ULTIMATE DESIGN WIND SPEED, VULT, (3-SECOND GUST),
 MILES PER HOUR (KM/HR) AND NOMINAL DESIGN WIND SPEED,
 VASD, AS DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
 1609.3.1.
  
 4.2. RISK CATEGORY.
  
 4.3. WIND EXPOSURE. APPLICABLE WIND DIRECTION IF MORE
 THAN ONE WIND EXPOSURE IS UTILIZED.
  
 4.4. APPLICABLE INTERNAL PRESSURE COEFFICIENT.
  
 4.5. DESIGN WIND PRESSURES TO BE USED FOR EXTERIOR

 TABLE 1609.7(2) ADJUSTMENT FACTORS FOR HEIGHT &
 EXPOSURE. PROVIDE THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT FOR THE
 BUILDING.
  
 5) PLEASE PROVIDE ENERGYY CALCULATIONS IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH 2014 ENERGY CODE SECTION C101.4.3.
  
 6) SHEET A2.1 DOES NOT INDICATE THE TYPE OF ROOF DECK
 NOR FRAMING. THIS STRUCTURE HAS WOOD 2X'S AND WOOD
 DECK. THE NEW TENANT SEPARATION WALL WILL NEED TO GO
 ALL THE WAY TO THE ROOF DECK. PLEASE PROVIDE A DETAIL
 OF HOW THE FIRE RATING WILL BE MAINTAINED TO THE ROOF
 DECK. THIS WILL BE DISSIMILAR MATERIALS, WILL ALSO NEED
 TO BE A FLEXIBLE CONNECTION BECAUSE OF THE HEATING AND
 COOLING OF THE ROOF DECK. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH
 2014 FBC-B 708.8 JOINTS MADE IN OR BETWEEN FIRE
 BARRIERS SHALL COMPLY WITH 715.
  
 715.2 INSTALLATION. A FIRE-RESISTANT JOINT SYSTEM SHALL
 BE SECURELY INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LISTING
 CRITERIA IN OR ON THE JOINT FOR ITS ENTIRE LENGTH SO AS
 NOT TO DISLODGE, LOOSEN OR OTHERWISE IMPAIR ITS ABILITY
 TO ACCOMMODATE EXPECTED BUILDING MOVEMENTS AND TO
 RESIST THE PASSAGE OF FIRE AND HOT GASES.
  
 715.3 FIRE TEST CRITERIA. FIRE-RESISTANT JOINT SYSTEMS
 SHALL BE TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF
 EITHER ASTM E 1966 OR UL 2079. NONSYMMETRICAL WALL
 JOINT SYSTEMS SHALL BE TESTED WITH BOTH FACES EXPOSED
 TO THE FURNACE, AND THE ASSIGNED FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING
 SHALL BE THE SHORTEST DURATION OBTAINED FROM THE TWO
 TESTS. WHEN EVIDENCE IS FURNISHED TO SHOW THAT THE WALL
 WAS TESTED WITH THE LEAST FIRE-RESISTANT SIDE EXPOSED
 TO THE FURNACE, SUBJECT TO ACCEPTANCE OF THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL, THE WALL NEED NOT BE SUBJECTED TO TESTS FROM
 THE OPPOSITE SIDE.
  
 8) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
