 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 2014 FBC ENERGY CONSERVATION
 SECT. 101.5.1 & 103.1 BY SUBMITTING THE PROPER
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS. SEE RESIDENTIAL BUILDING FORMS
 402 OR 405.
 FBC ENERGY CONSERVATION - SECT. 103.1.1.2 CODE
 COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATION.
 THE BUILDING?S OWNER, THE OWNER?S ARCHITECT, OR OTHER
 AUTHORIZED AGENT LEGALLY DESIGNATED BY THE OWNER SHALL
 CERTIFY THAT THE BUILDING IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 CODE, AS PER SECTION 553.907, FLORIDA STATUTES, PRIOR
 TO RECEIVING THE PERMIT TO BEGIN CONSTRUCTION OR
 RENOVATION.
  
 2) IT APPEARS FROM THE FLOOR PLAN THAT THE OPENING TO
 THE STAIRS FROM THE FIRST FLOOR ADDITION MAY BE REDUCED
 DUE TO THE NEW CONCRETE BLOCK WALL. THE STAIRWAY IS
 REQUIRED TO HAVE A MINIMUM CLEAR WIDTH OF 36 INCHES.
 SPECIFY THE WIDTH OF THE EXISTING STAIRS AND THE NEW
 OPENING ON THE PLANS.
  
 4) A CONCRETE CANTILEVER OVERHANG IS SPECIFIED AN PLAN
 SHEETS 1 AND 3. PROVIDE STRUCTURAL DETAILS OF THIS
 OVERHANG. FBC-R 301.1
  
 5) SHOW THE LOCATION OF THE ROOF SCUPPERS, COLLECTORS
 AND DOWNSPOUTS ON THE ELEVATIONS. FBC-R318.5 PROTECTION
 AGAINST DECAY AND TERMITES.
 CONDENSATE LINES, IRRIGATION/SPRINKLER SYSTEM RISERS
 FOR SPRAY HEADS, AND ROOF DOWNSPOUTS SHALL DISCHARGE AT
 LEAST 1 FOOT (305 MM) AWAY FROM THE STRUCTURE SIDEWALL,
 WHETHER BY UNDERGROUND PIPING, TAIL EXTENSIONS OR
 SPLASH BLOCKS. GUTTERS WITH DOWNSPOUTS ARE REQUIRED ON
 ALL BUILDINGS WITH EAVES OF LESS THAN 6 INCHES (152 MM)
 HORIZONTAL PROJECTION EXCEPT FOR GABLE END RAKES OR ON
 A ROOF ABOVE ANOTHER ROOF.
  
 6) R903.4 ROOF DRAINAGE.
 UNLESS ROOFS ARE SLOPED TO DRAIN OVER ROOF EDGES, ROOF
 DRAINS SHALL BE INSTALLED AT EACH LOW POINT OF THE
 ROOF. WHERE REQUIRED FOR ROOF DRAINAGE, SCUPPERS SHALL
 BE PLACED LEVEL WITH THE ROOF SURFACE IN A WALL OR
 PARAPET. THE SCUPPER SHALL BE LOCATED AS DETERMINED BY
 THE ROOF SLOPE AND CONTRIBUTING ROOF AREA.
 R903.4.1 OVERFLOW DRAINS AND SCUPPERS.
 WHEN OTHER MEANS OF DRAINAGE OF OVERFLOW WATER IS NOT
 PROVIDED, OVERFLOW SCUPPERS SHALL BE PLACED IN WALLS OR
 PARAPETS NOT LESS THAN 2 INCHES (51 MM) NOR MORE THAN 4
 INCHES (102 MM) ABOVE THE FINISHED ROOF COVERING AND
 SHALL BE LOCATED AS CLOSE AS PRACTICAL TO REQUIRED
 VERTICAL LEADERS OR DOWNSPOUTS OR WALL AND PARAPET
 SCUPPERS. AN OVERFLOW SCUPPER SHALL BE SIZED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, PLUMBING.
 OVERFLOW DRAINS SHALL DISCHARGE TO AN APPROVED LOCATION
 AND SHALL NOT BE CONNECTED TO ROOF DRAIN LINES.
  
 7) SPECIFY THE ROOF SHEATHING AND FASTENING DETAILS ON
 THE PLANS. FBC-R803
  
 8) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC-R806.1 VENTILATION
 REQUIRED.
 ENCLOSED ATTICS AND ENCLOSED RAFTER SPACES FORMED WHERE
 CEILINGS ARE APPLIED DIRECTLY TO THE UNDERSIDE OF ROOF
 RAFTERS SHALL HAVE CROSS VENTILATION FOR EACH SEPARATE
 SPACE BY VENTILATING OPENINGS PROTECTED AGAINST THE
 ENTRANCE OF RAIN OR SNOW. VENTILATION OPENINGS SHALL
 HAVE A LEAST DIMENSION OF 1/16 INCH (1.6 MM) MINIMUM
 AND 1/4 INCH (6.4 MM) MAXIMUM. VENTILATION OPENINGS
 HAVING A LEAST DIMENSION LARGER THAN 1/4 INCH (6.4 MM)
 SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH CORROSION-RESISTANT WIRE CLOTH
 SCREENING, HARDWARE CLOTH, OR SIMILAR MATERIAL WITH
 OPENINGS HAVING A LEAST DIMENSION OF 1/16 INCH (1.6 MM)
 MINIMUM AND 1/4 INCH (6.4 MM) MAXIMUM. OPENINGS IN ROOF
 FRAMING MEMBERS SHALL CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF
 SECTION R802.1.8. REQUIRED VENTILATION OPENINGS SHALL
 OPEN DIRECTLY TO THE OUTSIDE AIR.
  
 9) THE VERTICAL SPACING OF THE ANCHORS FOR THE (2) 2 X
 8 LEDGERS ON SHEET 4 HAS 4" FROM THE TOP AND ANOTHER 4"
 BELOW THAT ONE. THIS WILL NOT WORK SINCE THE LEDGER ARE
 8" WIDE. FBC 107.2.1
  
 10) ON SHEET 1 THE FIRST FLOOR PLAN SPECIFIES A FRENCH
 DOOR AT THE NOOK AND ON SHEET 3 IT IS A SLIDING GLASS
 DOOR. THE PRODUCT APPROVAL THAT WAS SUBMITTED IS FOR A
 SLIDING GLASS DOOR. PLEASE COORDINATE THE PLANS. FBC
 107.2.1
  
 11) THE PRODUCT APPROVAL THAT WAS SUBMITTED FOR THE US
 PLY MODIFIED BITUMEN ROOFING IS FOR CONCRETE DECKS.
 THIS ADDITION HAS WOOD ROOF TRUSSES AND PROBABLY WOOD
 SHEATHING. FBC-R905.11
  
 12) THE VALUATION FOR THE PROJECT HAS BEEN INCREASED
 FROM $50,000.00 TO $100,000.00 BASED ON LATEST ICC
 VALUATION DATA. FBC 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION.
 FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE
 STRUCTURAL, ELECTRIC, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR
 FINISH, RELATIVE SITE WORK, ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN
 FEES, MARKETING COSTS, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING
 ONLY LAND VALUE. VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE
 LATEST PUBLISHED DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST
 ANALYSIS SERVICES (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.), AS
 PUBLISHED BY INTERNATIONAL CODE CONGRESS. FINAL
 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION SHALL BE SET BY THE BUILDING
