 7)2ND REQUEST. PLEASE NOTE THAT WELDED AND BOLTED
 CONNECTIONS WILL REQUIRE EITHER THIRD PARTY
 CERTIFICATION OR A RESIDENT INSPECTOR. PLEASE PROVIDE
 WHICH THE DESIGNER OF RECORD OR THE CONTRACTOR WISHES
 TO USE ON THIS PROJECT. IF A RESIDENT INSPECTOR IS
 CHOSEN, FORMS WILL BE E-MAILED FOR THE REQUIRED

 INSPECTIONS SERVICES. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY MAKE,
 OR CAUSE TO BE MADE BY OTHERS, THE INSPECTIONS REQUIRED
 BY SECTION 109. HE/SHE MAY ACCEPT REPORTS OF INSPECTORS
 OF RECOGNIZED INSPECTION SERVICES, PROVIDED THAT AFTER
 INVESTIGATION HE/SHE IS SATISFIED AS TO THEIR
 QUALIFICATIONS AND RELIABILITY. A CERTIFICATE CALLED
 FOR BY ANY PROVISION OF THE TECHNICAL CODES SHALL NOT
 BE BASED ON SUCH REPORTS UNLESS THE SAME ARE IN WRITING
 AND CERTIFIED BY A RESPONSIBLE OFFICER OF SUCH SERVICE.

 METHODS OF CONSTRUCTION
  
 7A) RESIDENT INSPECTOR FORMS MUST BE SIGNED BY ALL
 PARTIES NOTARIZED AND RETURNED TO THE BUILDING
 DEPARTMENT.
  
 7B) FOR THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR PLEASE PROVIDE A RESUME'
 OF INSPECTION EXPERIENCE ON PREVIOUS PROJECT. THE
 RESUME' MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY ALL CERTIFICATES AS
 SPECIFIED HEREIN. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL OR HIS DESIGNEE
 WILL REVIEW THE RESUME'. AFTER THE RESUME' IS REVIEWED,
 AN INTERVIEW WILL BE SCHEDULED. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES
 WILL AN INSPECTOR BE INTERVIEWED FOR WORK WITHOUT FIRST
 MEETING THE ABOVE CRITERIA.

 ATTACHMENT OF THE CURB, WOOD BLOCKING MEMBERS AND TO
 THE STEEL FRAMING MEMBERS. THE MECHANICAL SHEET M1.2
 SHOWS A FEW DETAILS OF ROOF TOP CURBS FOR THE NEW RTU'S
 ON THE ROOF BUT THERE IS NO ANCHORING DETAIL FOR THE
 CURBS, THE STRUCTURAL SHEETS DO NOT HAVE ANY ANCHORING
 DETAILS FOR THE ROOF TOP CURBS. COMPONENTS AND CLADDING
 ROOF TOP CURBS 1609.1.2.
  
 9) 2ND REQUEST. SEMI-COMPLIED. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE IN
 HOW THE RTU UNIT IS TO BE ATTACHED BETWEEN SHEET A2.0
 DETAIL # 1 AND SHEET S5.1 DETAIL # 8 THEY DO NOT MATCH
 UP. 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED. THE
 MECHANICAL NOR STRUCTURAL PLANS PROVIDE THE ATTACHMENT
 OF THE RTU TO THE CURB. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH

 1509.6.4 EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES ON ROOFS OR ELEVATED
 STRUCTURES. WHERE EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES REQUIRING
 ACCESS ARE INSTALLED ON ROOFS OR ELEVATED STRUCTURES AT
 A HEIGHT EXCEEDING 16 FEET (4877 MM), SUCH ACCESS SHALL
 BE PROVIDED BY A PERMANENT APPROVED MEANS OF ACCESS,
 THE EXTENT OF WHICH SHALL BE FROM GRADE OR FLOOR LEVEL
 TO THE EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES? LEVEL SERVICE SPACE.
 SUCH ACCESS SHALL NOT REQUIRE CLIMBING OVER
 OBSTRUCTIONS GREATER THAN 30 INCHES (762 MM) HIGH OR

 10.2. LADDERS SHALL HAVE RUNG SPACING NOT TO EXCEED 14
 INCHES (356 MM) ON CENTER.
 10.3. LADDERS SHALL HAVE A TOE SPACING NOT LESS THAN
 6-INCHES (152 MM) DEEP.
 10.4. THERE SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 18 INCHES (457 MM)
 BETWEEN RAILS.
 10.5. RUNGS SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM 0.75-INCH (19 MM)
 DIAMETER AND BE CAPABLE OF WITHSTANDING A 300-POUND
 (136.1 KG) LOAD.
 10.6. LADDERS OVER 30 FEET (9144 MM) IN HEIGHT SHALL BE
 PROVIDED WITH OFFSET SECTIONS AND LANDINGS CAPABLE OF
 WITHSTANDING 100 POUNDS PER SQUARE FOOT (488.2 KG/M2).
 10.7. LADDERS SHALL BE PROTECTED AGAINST CORROSION BY
 APPROVED MEANS. CATWALKS INSTALLED TO PROVIDE THE
 REQUIRED ACCESS SHALL BE NOT LESS THAN 24-INCHES (610
 MM) WIDE AND SHALL HAVE RAILINGS AS REQUIRED FOR
 SERVICE PLATFORMS.
  
 11) COMPLIED. ZONING COMMENTS INDICATE THERE MAY HAVE A
 NEED TO SCREEN THE MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT ON THE ROOF.
 PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH? 1509.6.1 HEIGHT
 LIMITATIONS.
 MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT SCREENS SHALL NOT EXCEED 18 FEET
 (5486 MM) IN HEIGHT ABOVE THE ROOF DECK, AS MEASURED TO
 THE HIGHEST POINT ON THE MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT SCREEN.
 PLEASE PROVIDE THE ATTACHMENT FOR SCREEN FRAMING AS
 WELL AS THE SCREEN MATERIAL ITSELF, SHOW COMPLIANCE
 WITH 1609.6 WIND DESIGN.
