 6) 2010 FBC 107.3.4.1 PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCTS
 WHICH ARE REGULATED BY THE DCA RULE 9N-03 SHALL BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
 FL 61G1-23.015 (2) THE ARCHITECT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
 SUPERVISING AND REVIEWING ALL PROJECT DATA, REPORTS,
 SHOP DRAWINGS ETC..
  
 EITHER THE DESIGNER OF RECORD OR CONTRACTOR CAN DEFER
 THE PRODUCT APPROVALS TO BE SUBMITTED AFTER PERMIT
 ISSUANCE AS A DEFERRED SUBMITTAL AS LONG AS THE
 PRESSURES ON THE BUILDING ARE CORRECT PLEASE REQUEST IN
 WRITTING AS PART OF THE PERMIT DOCUMENTS. 107.3.4.2
 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION,
 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ARE DEFINED AS THOSE PORTIONS OF
 THE DESIGN THAT ARE NOT SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF THE
 APPLICATION AND THAT ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A SPECIFIED PERIOD. DEFERRAL
 OF ANY SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL HAVE THE PRIOR APPROVAL OF
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE
 REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE
 SHALL LIST THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
 DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN
 RESPONSIBLE CHARGE WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM AND FORWARD
 THEM TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION
 INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND FOUND TO BE IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE TO
 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL
 ITEMS SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL THE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE
 BEEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 7) PLEASE NOTE THAT WELDED AND BOLTED CONNECTIONS WILL
 REQUIRE EITHER THIRD PARTY CERTIFICATION OR A RESIDENT
 INSPECTOR. PLEASE PROVIDE WHICH THE DESIGNER OF RECORD
 OR THE CONTRACTOR WISHES TO USE ON THIS PROJECT. IF A
 RESIDENT INSPECTOR IS CHOSEN, FORMS WILL BE E-MAILED
 FOR THE REQUIRED SIGNATURES BY ALL INVOLVED PARTIES.

 ROOF TOP CURBS FOR THE NEW RTU'S ON THE ROOF BUT THERE
 IS NO ANCHORING DETAIL FOR THE CURBS, THE STRUCTURAL
 SHEETS DO NOT HAVE ANY ANCHORING DETAILS FOR THE ROOF
 TOP CURBS. COMPONENTS AND CLADDING ROOF TOP CURBS
 1609.1.2.
  
 9) THE MECHANICAL NOR STRUCTURAL PLANS PROVIDE THE
 ATTACHMENT OF THE RTU TO THE CURB. PLEASE SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH COMPONENTS & CLADDING 1609.1.2.
  
 10) SHEET S1.1 SHOWS THE EXISITNG AND NEW LAYOUT FOR
 NEW RTU'S ON THE ROOF. NEITHER THE A OR S PLANS
 INDICATE HOW COMPLIANCE WITH 2014 FBC-B SECTION
 1509.6.4 EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES ON ROOFS OR ELEVATED
 STRUCTURES. WHERE EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES REQUIRING
 ACCESS ARE INSTALLED ON ROOFS OR ELEVATED STRUCTURES AT
 A HEIGHT EXCEEDING 16 FEET (4877 MM), SUCH ACCESS SHALL
 BE PROVIDED BY A PERMANENT APPROVED MEANS OF ACCESS,
 THE EXTENT OF WHICH SHALL BE FROM GRADE OR FLOOR LEVEL
 TO THE EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES? LEVEL SERVICE SPACE.
 SUCH ACCESS SHALL NOT REQUIRE CLIMBING OVER
 OBSTRUCTIONS GREATER THAN 30 INCHES (762 MM) HIGH OR
 WALKING ON ROOFS HAVING A SLOPE GREATER THAN 4 UNITS
 VERTICAL IN 12 UNITS HORIZONTAL (33-PERCENT SLOPE).
 PERMANENT LADDERS INSTALLED TO PROVIDE THE REQUIRED
 ACCESS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM DESIGN
 CRITERIA:
 10.1. THE SIDE RAILING SHALL EXTEND ABOVE THE PARAPET
 OR ROOF EDGE NOT LESS THAN 30 INCHES (762 MM).
 10.2. LADDERS SHALL HAVE RUNG SPACING NOT TO EXCEED 14
 INCHES (356 MM) ON CENTER.
 10.3. LADDERS SHALL HAVE A TOE SPACING NOT LESS THAN
 6-INCHES (152 MM) DEEP.
 10.4. THERE SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 18 INCHES (457 MM)
 BETWEEN RAILS.
 10.5. RUNGS SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM 0.75-INCH (19 MM)
 DIAMETER AND BE CAPABLE OF WITHSTANDING A 300-POUND
 (136.1 KG) LOAD.
 10.6. LADDERS OVER 30 FEET (9144 MM) IN HEIGHT SHALL BE
 PROVIDED WITH OFFSET SECTIONS AND LANDINGS CAPABLE OF
 WITHSTANDING 100 POUNDS PER SQUARE FOOT (488.2 KG/M2).
 10.7. LADDERS SHALL BE PROTECTED AGAINST CORROSION BY
 APPROVED MEANS. CATWALKS INSTALLED TO PROVIDE THE
 REQUIRED ACCESS SHALL BE NOT LESS THAN 24-INCHES (610
 MM) WIDE AND SHALL HAVE RAILINGS AS REQUIRED FOR
 SERVICE PLATFORMS.
  
 11) ZONING COMMENTS INDICATE THERE MAY HAVE A NEED TO
 SCREEN THE MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT ON THE ROOF. PLEASE
 SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH ? 1509.6.1 HEIGHT LIMITATIONS.
 MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT SCREENS SHALL NOT EXCEED 18 FEET
 (5486 MM) IN HEIGHT ABOVE THE ROOF DECK, AS MEASURED TO
 THE HIGHEST POINT ON THE MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT SCREEN.
 PLEASE PROVIDE THE ATTACHMENT FOR SCREEN FRAMING AS
 WELL AS THE SCREEN MATERIAL ITSELF, SHOW COMPLIANCE
 WITH 1609.6 WIND DESIGN.
  
 12) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE
 REVISION & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES
 AS NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
