 1) THE NOTES ON SHEET A1 INDICATE THAT THIS IS A LEVEL
 2 ALTERATION. BECAUSE THE WORK AREA CONSISTS OF MORE
 THAN 50 PERCENT OF THE AGGREGATE AREA OF THE BUILDING
 IT IS A LEVEL 3 ALTERATION. FBC EXISTING BUILDING

 SECTIONS AND THE FOUNDATION PLAN. THE WALL SECTIONS
 SHOW A WOOD FRAMED FLOOR SYSTEM AT THE FIRST FLOOR AND
 THE FOUNDATION SHOWS A CONCRETE SLAB FLOOR SYSTEM.
 PLEASE CORRECT. FBC 107.2.1
  
 6) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC - R703.6.3 WATER-RESISTIVE
 BARRIERS.
 WATER-RESISTIVE BARRIERS SHALL BE INSTALLED AS REQUIRED
 IN SECTION R703.2 AND, WHERE APPLIED OVER WOOD-BASED
 SHEATHING, SHALL INCLUDE A WATER-RESISTIVE
 VAPOR-PERMEABLE BARRIER WITH A PERFORMANCE AT LEAST
 EQUIVALENT TO TWO LAYERS OF GRADE D PAPER. THE
 INDIVIDUAL LAYERS SHALL BE INSTALLED INDEPENDENTLY SUCH
 THAT EACH LAYER PROVIDES A SEPARATE CONTINUOUS PLANE
 AND ANY FLASHING (INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
 R703.8) INTENDED TO DRAIN TO THE WATER-RESISTIVE
 BARRIER IS DIRECTED BETWEEN THE LAYERS.
  
 EXCEPTION: WHERE THE WATER-RESISTIVE BARRIER THAT IS
 APPLIED OVER WOOD-BASED SHEATHING HAS A WATER
 RESISTANCE EQUAL TO OR GREATER THAN THAT OF 60-MINUTE
 GRADE D PAPER AND IS SEPARATED FROM THE STUCCO BY AN
 INTERVENING, SUBSTANTIALLY NONWATER-ABSORBING LAYER OR
 DESIGNED DRAINAGE SPACE.
  
 7) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R807.1 ATTIC ACCESS.
 BUILDINGS WITH COMBUSTIBLE CEILING OR ROOF CONSTRUCTION
 SHALL HAVE AN ATTIC ACCESS OPENING TO ATTIC AREAS THAT
 EXCEED 30 SQUARE FEET (2.8 M2) AND HAVE A VERTICAL
 HEIGHT OF 30 INCHES (762 MM) OR GREATER. THE VERTICAL
 HEIGHT SHALL BE MEASURED FROM THE TOP OF THE CEILING
 FRAMING MEMBERS TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE ROOF FRAMING
 MEMBERS.
 THE ROUGH-FRAMED OPENING SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 22
 INCHES BY 30 INCHES (559 MM BY 762 MM) AND SHALL BE
 LOCATED IN A HALLWAY OR OTHER READILY ACCESSIBLE
 LOCATION. WHEN LOCATED IN A WALL, THE OPENING SHALL BE
 A MINIMUM OF 22 INCHES WIDE BY 30 INCHES HIGH (559 MM
 WIDE BY 762 MM HIGH). WHEN THE ACCESS IS LOCATED IN A
 CEILING, MINIMUM UNOBSTRUCTED HEADROOM IN THE ATTIC
 SPACE SHALL BE 30 INCHES (762 MM) AT SOME POINT ABOVE
 THE ACCESS MEASURED VERTICALLY FROM THE BOTTOM OF
 CEILING FRAMING MEMBERS.
  
 8) REVISE THE UPLIFT VALUE FOR THE SIMPSON MTS20
 CONNECTORS. THE UPLIFT IN THE 2015 SIMPSON CATALOG FOR
 THESE STRAPS ARE 1000 LBS AND THE PLANS SPECIFY 1450
 LBS, WHICH IS THE UPLIFT VALUE FOR THE HTS20 WITH 20 -
 10D NAILS. FBC- R801.2
  
 9) FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS
 FOR THE FLAT ROOF COVERING MATERIALS THAT HAVE BEEN
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF

 10) IN ORDER TO VERIFY THE VALUE FOR THE PROPOSED WORK,
