 NO DEMOLISION PLANS INDICATING WHAT IS BEING DEMOED OR
 CHANGED, IS EVERYTHING TO BE CONSIDERED NEW?
 107.3.5.1.1 MINIMUM PLAN REVIEW CRITERIA FOR COMMERCIAL
 BUILDINGS. FROM THE LAST KNOWN PERMIT 13010420 THERE IS
 ALOT OF INTERIOR CHANGES FROM THE LAST KNOWN USE AS FAR
 AS LAY OUT AND LIFE SAFETY PLAN. A THOROUGH REVIEW
 CANNOT BE MADE AT THIS TIME, AS A RESULT OF THE
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUESTED ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
 MAY APPEAR THAT WERE NOT PART OF THIS REVIEW.
  
 3) FOR THE AMOUNT OF CHANGES SEEN FROM THE LAST PERMIT
 (13010420) AND THE PROPOSED LAYOUT THE PERMIT VALUE
 ASSOCIATED WITH THIS DESIGN IS CONSIDERABLY
 LOW,EXTREMELY LOW. PERMIT FEES/ PLAN REVIEW:

 APPEARS TO BE UNDER ESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE
 PERMIT SHALL BE DENIED. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES,
 VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL
 REPLACEMENT PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE THE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE
 STRUCTURAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR
 FINISHES, NORMAL SITE WORK (EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL FOR
 BUILDINGS), ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING
 COST, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE.
 VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED
 DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS SERVICES
 (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.) WITH REGIONAL ADJUSTMENTS
 FOR LOCATION AS PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CODE
 CONGRESS.
  
 4) 2ND REQUEST. SHEET A120.1THE MENS RESTROOM APPEARS
 TO HAVE BEEN RENOVATED WITH THE RELOCATION OF THE ENTRY
 WALL OF THE RESTROOM. THE NEW PLANS SHOW THE SAME
 ORIGINAL 4 LAVATORIES AND A LONGER COUNTER TOP. NO WALL
 TAG IDENTIFYING THE WALL TYPE IS PROVIDED ON THE PLANS.

 PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE 2 ISSUES WITH THIS DETAIL. THE
 BUILDING IS CLASSIFIED AS A BUILDING TYPE IB WHICH DOES
 NOT ALLOW EXTERIOR PLYWOOD. PLEASE REVIEW 2014 FBC-B
 603.1.1.3. FIRE RETARDANT TREATED WOOD CAN BE USED IN
 NON-BEARING EXTERIOR WALLS.
  
 6B) DETAILS 3 & 4 ON SHEET A400.2 INDICATE THE US OF 30
 LB. FELT. PLEASE SEE 2014 FBC-B SECTION 2510.6 WHERE
 APPLIED OVER WOOD-BASED SHEATHING, SHALL INCLUDE A
 WATERRESISTIVE VAPOR-PERMEABLE BARRIER WITH A
 PERFORMANCE AT LEAST EQUIVALENT TO TWO LAYERS OF GRADE
 D PAPER. THE INDIVIDUAL LAYERS SHALL BE INSTALLED
 INDEPENDENTLY SUCH THAT EACH LAYER PROVIDES A SEPARATE
 CONTINUOUS PLANE AND ANY FLASHING (INSTALLED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 1405.4) INTENDED TO DRAIN TO
 THE WATER-RESISTIVE BARRIER IS DIRECTED BETWEEN THE
 LAYERS.
  
 1ST REVIEW COMMENT. PLEASE NOTE SHEET A120.1 THE
 PROPOSED PLANS SHOW WORK ON THE EAST AND SOUTH OUTSIDE
 DINING AREA WITH WALLS MOVED, DOORS OPENINGS BEING
 MODIFIED, A NEW OUTSIDE LOUNGE AREA WALLS REMOVED, THE
 KITCHEN NEW COOLERS, OLD ONES MOVED BAR LOCATIONS AND
 WALLS MOVED ETC....
