 NOTE THIS IS ALLOWED WHEN THE OCCIPANT OF NEATHER SPACE
 IS COMPELLED TO WALK OR WHEEL BEHIND PARKED VEHICLES,
 EXCEPT BEHIND THEIR OWN VEHICLE. SEE 2014 FL ACCESSIBLE
 CODE 208.3.1.
  
 1B) THE ACCESSIBILITY CODE REQUIRES UP TOO 20 % OF THE
 VALUE OF THE PROJECT ($100,000.00) TO GO TOWARDS
 ACCESSIBLE UPGRADES. PLEASE SEE SECTION 202.4.1
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST AND THE ORDER THAT THE FUNDS ARE
 REQUIRED TO BE SPENT. IF OR WHEN THE ($100,000.00) IS
 SPENT ON ACCESSIBLE UPGRADESINTHE ORDER GIVEN IN
 202.4.1 THEN DISPROPORTIONALITY HAS BEEN MET. WE WILL
 NEED AN ITEMIZED LIST FROM EITHER THE CONTRACTOR OR THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD ON THEIR LETTERHEAD. THIS STAYS AS
 PART OF THE PERMIT PACKAGE.
  
 2) THE COVERSHEET INDICATES THE PLANS WERE DESIGNED
 SIGNED AND SEALED 5/21/2015, BUT THE CONTRACTOR
 SUBMITTED THE PLANS FOR PERMIT AUGUST 14/ 2015. NOTE
 THE 2014 FBC, 5TH EDITION WAS ADOPTED STATEWIDE ON JUNE
 30TH/ 2015. THE PLANS WILL NEED TO BE REVIEWED AND
 UPDATED TO THE CURRENT CODE.
  
 3) THE STRUCTURAL SHEETS ALSO INDICATE THEY WERE
 DESIGNED TO THE 2010 FBC BUT THEY ALSO INDICATE THEY
 ARE DESIGNED UNDER THE HIGH WIND VELOCITY ZONE-
 MIAMI-DADE COUNTY VULT 175. PLEASE NOTE THE DESIGNER
 CAN DESIGN TO A MORE STRINGENT STANDARD BUT THE
 PRESSURES FOR THE HIGHER STANDARD WILL ALSO BE
 APPLICABLE.
  
 4) SHEET A3 ROOF TOP NOR S-2 SHOW THE ROOF TOP
 ELEVATION NOR HOW ACCESS TO THE ROOF TOP EQUIPMENT NOR
 COMPLIANCE WITH 2014 FBC-B
 1509.6.4 EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES ON ROOFS OR ELEVATED

 WHERE EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES REQUIRING ACCESS ARE
 INSTALLED ON ROOFS OR ELEVATED STRUCTURES AT A HEIGHT
 EXCEEDING 16 FEET (4877 MM), SUCH ACCESS SHALL BE
 PROVIDED BY A PERMANENT APPROVED MEANS OF ACCESS, THE
 EXTENT OF WHICH SHALL BE FROM GRADE OR FLOOR LEVEL TO
 THE EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES? LEVEL SERVICE SPACE. SUCH
 ACCESS SHALL NOT REQUIRE CLIMBING OVER OBSTRUCTIONS
 GREATER THAN 30 INCHES (762 MM) HIGH OR WALKING ON
 ROOFS HAVING A SLOPE GREATER THAN 4 UNITS VERTICAL IN
 12 UNITS HORIZONTAL (33-PERCENT SLOPE).
  
 PERMANENT LADDERS INSTALLED TO PROVIDE THE REQUIRED
 ACCESS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM DESIGN
 CRITERIA:
  
 4.1. THE SIDE RAILING SHALL EXTEND ABOVE THE PARAPET OR
 ROOF EDGE NOT LESS THAN 30 INCHES (762 MM).
  
 4.2. LADDERS SHALL HAVE RUNG SPACING NOT TO EXCEED 14
 INCHES (356 MM) ON CENTER.
  
 4.3. LADDERS SHALL HAVE A TOE SPACING NOT LESS THAN
 6-INCHES (152 MM) DEEP.
  
 4.4. THERE SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 18 INCHES (457 MM)
 BETWEEN RAILS.
  
 4.5. RUNGS SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM 0.75-INCH (19 MM)
 DIAMETER AND BE CAPABLE OF WITHSTANDING A 300-POUND
 (136.1 KG) LOAD.
  
 4.6. LADDERS OVER 30 FEET (9144 MM) IN HEIGHT SHALL BE
 PROVIDED WITH OFFSET SECTIONS AND LANDINGS CAPABLE OF
 WITHSTANDING 100 POUNDS PER SQUARE FOOT (488.2 KG/M2).
  
 4.7. LADDERS SHALL BE PROTECTED AGAINST CORROSION BY
 APPROVED MEANS. CATWALKS INSTALLED TO PROVIDE THE
 REQUIRED ACCESS SHALL BE NOT LESS THAN 24-INCHES (610
 MM) WIDE AND SHALL HAVE RAILINGS AS REQUIRED FOR
 SERVICE PLATFORMS.
  
 5) SHEET S-2 SHOWS NEW ROOFTOP EQUIPMENT BENCHES, THE
 HEIGHT TO THE BOTTOM OF THE HORIZONTAL FRAMING MEMBERS
 IS NOT GIVEN, DETAILS ARE NOTED NOT DRAWN TO SCALE,
 PLEASE PROVIDE CODE COMPLIANCE WITH 2014 FBC-B 1509.6.5
 MECHANICAL UNITS. ROOF MOUNTED MECHANICAL UNITS SHALL
 BE MOUNTED ON CURBS RAISED A MINIMUM OF 8 INCHES (203
 MM) ABOVE THE ROOF SURFACE, OR WHERE ROOFING MATERIALS
 EXTEND BENEATH THE UNIT, ON RAISED EQUIPMENT SUPPORTS
 PROVIDING A MINIMUM CLEARANCE HEIGHT IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 TABLE 1509.6.5.
  
 6) PLEASE SHOW FOR THE NEW EQUIPMENT ON THE ROOF
 COMPLIANCE WITH 20104 FBC-B 1509.6 MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT
 SCREENS. MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT SCREENS SHALL BE
 CONSTRUCTED OF THE MATERIALS SPECIFIED FOR THE EXTERIOR
 WALLS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION OF
 THE BUILDING. WHERE THE FIRE SEPARATION DISTANCE IS
 GREATER THAN 5 FEET (1524 MM), MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT
 SCREENS SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE
 FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING REQUIREMENTS.
 1509.6.1 HEIGHT LIMITATIONS. MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT
 SCREENS SHALL NOT EXCEED 18 FEET (5486 MM) IN HEIGHT
 ABOVE THE ROOF DECK, AS MEASURED TO THE HIGHEST POINT
 ON THE MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT SCREEN.

 REQUIRE WELDING AND OR BOLTED CONNECTIONS WILL REQUIRE

 REQUIRED, NOT A ONSITE RESIDENT INSPECTOR OR SPECIAL

 10) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE
 REVISION & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES
 AS NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
