| | ACCA MANUAL N AND SHALL BE ATTACHED TO THE CODE |
| | COMPLIANCE FORM SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT |
| | WHEN THE BUILDING IS PERMITTED OR, IN THE EVENT THE |
| | MECHANICAL PERMIT IS OBTAINED AT A LATER TIME, THE |
| | SIZING CALCULATION SHALL BE SUBMITTED WITH THE |
| | APPLICATION FOR THE MECHANICAL PERMIT. HEATING AND |
| | COOLING LOADS SHALL BE ADJUSTED TO ACCOUNT FOR LOAD |
| | REDUCTIONS THAT ARE ACHIEVED WHEN ENERGY RECOVERY |
| | SYSTEMS ARE UTILIZED IN THE HVAC SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE |

| | MAXIMUM FLOW RATE IS LESS THAN 10 PERCENT OF THE TOTAL |
| | FAN SYSTEM SUPPLY AIRFLOW RATE. |
| | 3. THE MINIMUM VENTILATION REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTER 4 OF |
| | THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, MECHANICAL. |

| | EXCEPTION: THE FOLLOWING DEFINE WHERE INDIVIDUAL ZONES |
| | OR WHERE ENTIRE AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS ARE EXEMPTED |
| | FROM THE REQUIREMENT FOR VAV CONTROL: |
| | 1. ZONES WHERE SPECIAL PRESSURIZATION RELATIONSHIPS OR |
| | CROSS-CONTAMINATION REQUIREMENTS ARE SUCH THAT VAV |
| | SYSTEMS ARE IMPRACTICAL. |
| | 2. ZONES OR SUPPLY AIR SYSTEMS WHERE AT LEAST 75 |
| | PERCENT OF THE ENERGY FOR REHEATING OR FOR PROVIDING |
| | WARM AIR IN MIXING SYSTEMS IS PROVIDED FROM A |
| | SITE-RECOVERED OR SITE-SOLAR ENERGY SOURCE. |
