 1) SHEET A2.1 SHOWS NEW ROOF TOP UNITS REQUIRING CURBS
 AND NEW OPENINGS THROUGH THE ROOF. DETAIL # 3 SHOWS A
 NEW OPENING TO BE CUT INTO THE ROOF SHEATHING AND NEW
 FRAMING AROUND THE HOLE. THE PLANS DO NOT PROVIDE WHAT
 THE MINIMUM AND OR MAXIMUM SIZE OF THE HOLE TO BE CUT
 IN THE ROOF SHEATHING. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS
 REQUIRED. 107.2.1.3. CODE COMPLIANCE CAN NOT BE
 DETERMINED.
  
 2) SHEET A2.1 SHOWS THE ROOF JOIST AT THE END OF THE
 HOLE TO BE DOUBLED 2 X12'S, THE PLANS DO NOT PROVIDE
 HOW OFTEN THEY ARE TO BE NAILED TOGETHER AND WHAT SIZE
 NAILS, TO FORM A DOUBLED FRAMING MEMBER OR GIRDER.
 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 3) SHEET A2.1 DOES NOT PROVIDE THE LENGTH OF THE NEW
 OPENING. SECTION 2308.8.3 OF THE FBC-B REQUIRES BOTH
 THE TRIMMER AND HEADER JOIST TO BE COUBLED, OR OF
 LUMBER OF EQUIVALENT CROSS SECTION. THE PLANS ONLY SHOW
 THE HEADER TO BE A SINGLE MEMBER NOT DOUBLED.

 6) 2010 FBC 107.3.4.1 PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCTS
 WHICH ARE REGULATED BY THE DCA RULE 9N-03 SHALL BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
 FL 61G1-23.015 (2) THE ARCHITECT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
 SUPERVISING AND REVIEWING ALL PROJECT DATA, REPORTS,
 SHOP DRAWINGS ETC..
  
 7) SHEET A1.0 PROVIDES THE WIND DESIGN CRITERIA BUT
 NEITHER SHEET A1.0 OR A2.1 PROVIDE THE PRESSURES THAT
 WILL BE ASSOCIATED ON THE ROOF CURB TO THE ROOF FRAMING
 MEMBERS. 2010 FBC-B 1609.4.4.1.
  
 8) PLEASE ALSO REVIEW THE 2010 FBC-B SECTION 1609.8
 ROOFTOP STRUCTURES AND EQUIPMENT.
 THE LATERAL FORCE ON ROOFTOP STRUCTURES AND EQUIPMENT
 WITH AF LESS THAN (0.1BH) LOCATED ON BUILDINGS OF ALL
 HEIGHTS SHALL BE DETERMINED FROM EQUATION 29.5-1 OF
 ASCE 7 IN WHICH THE VALUE OF GCF SHALL BE TAKEN AS 3.1.
 GCF SHALL BE PERMITTED TO BE REDUCED LINEARLY FROM 3.1
 TO 1.1 AS THE VALUE OF AF IS INCREASED FROM (0.1BH) TO
 (BH). THE VALUE OF G FROM SECTION 26.9 OF ASCE 7 SHALL
 NOT BE USED. ADDITIONALLY, A SIMULTANEOUS UPLIFT FORCE
 SHALL BE APPLIED, GIVEN BY EQUATION 29.5-1 OF ASCE 7 IN
 WHICH GCF = 1.5 AND AF IS REPLACED BY THE HORIZONTAL
 PROJECTED AREA, AR, OF THE ROOFTOP STRUCTURE OR
 EQUIPMENT. FOR THE UPLIFT FORCE GCF SHALL BE PERMITTED
 TO BE REDUCED LINEARLY FROM 1.5 TO 1.0 AS THE VALUE OF
 AR IS INCREASED FROM (0.1BL) TO (BL).
  
 9) SHEET A2.1 DETAIL # 2 FAILS TO IDENTIFY HOW THE RTU
 IS GOING TO BE ATTACHED TO THE ROOF TOP CURB FOR THE
 APPROPREATE ROOF PRESSURES TO RESIST THE MOMENT OF
 OVERTURNING. 2010 FBC-B 1604.4 ANALYSIS EVERY STRUCTURE
 SHALL BE DESIGNED TO RESIST THE OVERTURNING EFFECTS
 CAUSED BY THE LATERAL FORCES SPECIFIED IN THIS CHAPTER.
