 CODE: FBC-RESIDENTIAL -5TH EDITION(2014.
  
 1- THE 2014 BC TOOK EFFECT ON JUNE 30TH, 2015. PERMIT
 APPLICATION WAS SUBMITTED ON JUNE 30TH. BUILDING REVIEW
 WILL BE DONE BASED ON THE NEW CODE. PLEASE UPDATE ALL
 PLANS AND NOTES AS REQUIRED.
 RESPONSE: SHEET A0 WAS NOT REVISED. STILL REFERENCING
 THE 2010 CODE.
  
 2- ARCHITECTURAL PLANS TITLE BLOCK IS MISSING ALL THE
 INFORMATION OF THE ARCHITECT WHO IS SIGNING AND SEALING
 THE PLANS AS REQUIRED BY FAC 61G1-16.004.
 RESPONSE: TITLE BLOCK WAS NOT REVISED. THE ARCHITECT'S
 REQUIRED INFORMATION STILL NO PROVIDED.
  
 3- A) SOIL TEST REPORT SUBMITTED: PROJECT DESCRIPTION
 DOESN'T MATCH PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION. BUILDING AREA IS
 SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER AND THE TYPE OF PROPOSED
 CONSTRUCTION NEEDS ATTENTION TOO. REVISE REPORT AS
 REQUIRED. SEC. R301 OF FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION
 (2014).
  
 B) ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW REVISED SOIL TEST
 REPORT BASED ON THE ACTUAL PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION AND
 SQUARE FOOTAGE. AND, ACKNOWLEDGE IN WRITING TO THIS
 OFFICE THAT GEOTECHNICAL FOUNDATION RECOMMENDATIONS
 WERE ADOPTED IN THE DESIGN, INCLUDING THE
 RECOMMENDATION TO STRUCTURALLY SEPARATE FOOTING AND
 COLUMNS FROM THE FLOOR SLAB. OTHERWISE, PROVIDE
 ENGINEERING ANALYSIS FOR PROPOSED FOOTING DESIGN SHOWN
 ON PLANS. SEC. 107.2.1.3 CITY AMENDMENTS.

 A) ROOF INFORMATION ON PAGE 3 OF 7: REVISE ROOF TYPE
 AND MATERIALS TO MATCH PLANS. PLANS SHOW MODIFIED
 BITUMEN AND METAL ROOF. SEC. R101.5.1.1.2 OF FBC-
 ENERGY CONSERVATION, 5TH EDITION (2014).
 RESPONSE: INFORMATION IS INCORRECT. THE FLAT ROOF IS
 NOT METAL. THE FLAT ROOF IS MODIFIED BITUMEN AND THERE
 IS A PITCHED ROOF WITH METAL ROOF. SEE PLANS AND REVISE
 AS REQUIRED.
  
 B) CEILING INFORMATION ON PAGE 3 OF 7: R VALUE TO MATCH

 E) MODIFIED ROOFING FOR LOW SLOPE ROOF AS SHOWN ON
 PLANS. AND, IDENTIFY SELECTED APPROVED ASSEMBLY. AND
 PROVIDE SIGNED AND SEALED RAS 117 CALCULATIONS IF
 SELECTED ASSEMBLY DOESN'T MEET THE CALCULATED DESIGN
 PRESSURES.

 14- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO APPROVE ABOVE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
 NOTE: PLEASE PLACE THE REVIEW STAMP ON THE FRONT OF THE
 PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER PAGE NOT ON THE BACK (OR ON ANY
 OTHER FRONT PAGE WHERE THERE IS ENOUGH ROOM FOR THE
 STAMP). SCANNING DOCUMENTS FOR RECORD KEEPING IS NOT
 ADEQUATE WHEN STAMPS ARE ON THE BACK OF THE PAGE.

 FINISH COVERING OF THE SECOND FLOOR COVERED TERRACE.
