 1) 2010 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION, MINIMUM PLAN
 REVIEW CRITERIA FOR BUILDINGS. THE EXAMINATION OF THE
 DOCUMENTS BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL SHALL INCLUDE THE
 FOLLOWING MINIMUM CRITERIA AND DOCUMENTS:
 1A OCCUPANCY GROUP AND SPECIAL OCCUPANCY REQUIREMENTS
 SHALL BE DETERMINED.
 1B) MINIMUM TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE DETERMINED
 (SEE TABLE 503).
  
 2) PROVIDE SIGNED & SEALED SOILS REPORT. 2010 FBC-B
 1803.5.2 QUESTIONABLE SOIL. WHERE THE CLASSIFICATION,
 STRENGTH OR COMPRESSIBILITY OF THE SOIL IS IN DOUBT OR
 WHERE A LOAD-BEARING VALUE SUPERIOR TO THAT SPECIFIED
 IN THIS CODE IS CLAIMED, THE BUILDING OFFICIAL SHALL BE
 PERMITTED TO REQUIRE THAT A GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION
 BE CONDUCTED.
  
 3A) PLEASE PROVIDE A DEWATERING PLAN. THE DEWATERING OF
 THE EXCAVATION MAY NECESSITATE THE USE OF SUMPS, WELLS,
 WELLPOINTS OR A COMBINATION THEREOF. CONTROL OF GROUND
 WATER SHOULD BE ACCOMPLISHED IN A MANNER THAT PRESERVES
 THE STRENGTH OF THE FOUNDATION BEARING MATERIALS AND
 DOES NOT CAUSE INSTABILITY OF THE EXCAVATION SIDEWALLS.

 3B) 1803.5.4 GROUND-WATER TABLE. A SUBSURFACE SOIL
 INVESTIGATION SHALL BE PERFORMED TO DETERMINE WHETHER
 THE EXISTING GROUND-WATER TABLE IS ABOVE OR WITHIN 5
 FEET (1524 MM) BELOW THE ELEVATION OF THE LOWEST FLOOR
 LEVEL WHERE SUCH FLOOR IS LOCATED BELOW THE FINISHED
 GROUND LEVEL ADJACENT TO THE FOUNDATION.
  
 4) SHEET S008 SHOWS VARIOUS ALUMINUM COVERS BUT THEY DO
 NOT INDICATE HOW THEY WILL BE HELD IN PLACE IN CASE OF
 A HIGH WIND EVENT, NOR IF THERE IS TO BE A FIXED LADDER
 WITH THE PIT. 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
 REQUIRED.
  
 5) SHEET S003 AND M 301 BOTH SHOW VERTICAL PUMPS ABOVE
 THE FINISH ROOF SLAB. SHEET S010 DETAIL FOR TYPICAL
 VERTICAL PUMP DETAIL AND COORDINATE WITH PUMP DETAIL,
 IS THE PUMP DETAIL TO BE DIFERENT THAN WHAT IS SHOWN?
