 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) THE NOTE ON SHEET A4 STATES THAT THE EXISTING
 SECTIONAL GARAGE DOOR IS TO REMAIN TO IN ORDER TO
 SATISFY HISTORIC PRESERVATION REQUIREMENTS. IT APPEARS
 FROM THE WALL SECTION ON A4 THAT A NEW EXTERIOR FALSE
 WALL IS PROPOSED TO BE CONSTRUCTED IN FRONT WITH THE
 GARAGE DOOR ATTACHED TO IT. THE FLOOR PLAN, THE WALL
 SECTION AND THE ELEVATION SHOW A WINDOW AT THIS
 LOCATION. PLEASE CLARIFY. FBC 107.2.1
  
 2) THE WALL LEGEND ON SHEET A-3 IS INCONSISTENT WITH
 THE REST OF THE PLANS. PLEASE REVISE IT TO CORRESPOND
 WITH THE REST OF THE PLANS. FBC 107.2.1
  
 3) THE ENERGY COMPLIANCE FORM LISTS THE GARAGE EXTERIOR
 WALLS AS CONCRETE BLOCK WITH R-5 INSULATION AND THE
 PLANS HAVE EXTERIOR WOOD WALLS WITH R-3 SPRAYED
 CELLULOSE INSULATION. THE 2 X 6 WOOD FRAME WALLS SHOULD
 HAVE R-19 INSULATION. THE PLANS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE ENERGY CODE. THE ENERGY FORMS ARE
 REQUIRED TO REFLECT WHAT IS SHOWN ON THE PLANS. FBC
 107.2.1 & SECTION 401.2 OF THE ENERGY CODE.
  
 4) SHOW THE EGRESS WINDOW LOCATION ON THE PLANS AND
 SPECIFY THE WINDOW TYPES AND SIZES. FBC 107.1 & R310
  
 5) PROVIDE A WINDOW SCHEDULE FOR WINDOWS A AND B THAT
 ARE SHOWN ON SHEET A-3 AND SPECIFY THE TYPES AND SIZES.

 CLEARANCE IN FRONT OF THE WATER CLOSET IN THE NEW

 9) FBC-R703.6.3 WHERE CEMENT PLASTER (STUCCO) IS TO BE
 APPLIED TO LATH OVER FRAME CONSTRUCTION, MEASURES SHALL
 BE TAKEN TO PREVENT BONDING BETWEEN THE CEMENT PLASTER
 AND THE WATER-RESISTIVE BARRIER. A BOND BREAK SHALL BE
 PROVIDED BETWEEN THE WATER-RESISTIVE BARRIER AND THE
 CEMENT PLASTER (STUCCO) CONSISTING OF ONE OF THE
 FOLLOWING:
 1. TWO LAYERS OF AN APPROVED WATER-RESISTANT BARRIER
 MATERIAL; OR
 2. ONE LAYER OF AN APPROVED WATER-RESISTANT BARRIER
 OVER AN APPROVED PLASTIC HOUSE WRAP; OR
 3. OTHER APPROVED METHODS OR MATERIALS APPLIED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTALLATION
 INSTRUCTIONS.
  
 10) FBC-R704 INSPECTION FOR TERMITES
 IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR INSPECTION FOR TERMITE
 INFESTATION, CLEARANCE BETWEEN EXTERIOR WALL COVERINGS
 AND FINAL EARTH GRADE ON THE EXTERIOR OF A BUILDING
 SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 6 INCHES (152 MM).
 EXCEPTIONS:
 3. A 4-INCH (102 MM) INSPECTION SPACE ABOVE PATIO AND
 GARAGE SLABS AND ENTRY AREAS.
  
 11) FBC- R404.1.6 HEIGHT ABOVE FINISHED GRADE.
 CONCRETE AND MASONRY FOUNDATION WALLS SHALL EXTEND
 ABOVE THE FINISHED GRADE ADJACENT TO THE FOUNDATION AT
 ALL POINTS A MINIMUM OF 4 INCHES (102 MM) WHERE MASONRY
 VENEER IS USED AND A MINIMUM OF 6 INCHES (152 MM)
 ELSEWHERE.
  
 12) THE ENERGY COMPLIANCE FORM IS REQUIRED TO BE SIGNED
 BY THE OWNER/AGENT. FBC ENERGY CONSERVATION SECTION
 405.4
  
 13) THE VALUATION FOR THE WORK ON THE APPLICATION OF
 $2400.00 IS LOW. SUBMIT A COPY OF THE SIGNED CONTRACT.

 14) IN ORDER TO REDUCE PLAN REVIEW TIMES AND PROVIDE
 CLARIFICATION, PLEASE SUBMIT A RESPONSE LETTER
