 NOTICE AT RISK, THIS PERMIT IS FOR A FOUNDATION ONLY,
 PLEASE PROVIDE AN APPENDIX TO THE PERMIT APPLICATION,
 DESCRIPTION OF WORK, AS TO WHAT WORK IS TO BE
 ACCOMPLISHED UNDER THIS FOUNDATION PERMIT. THE CITY
 CONSIDERS A FOUNDATION PERMIT ANY WORK TO BE COMPLETED
 UNTIL THE BUILDING LEVEL IS EVEN WITH GRADE.
  
 2010 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION, 107.3.3. THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL IS AUTHORIZED TO ISSUE A PERMIT FOR THE
 CONSTRUCTION OF FOUNDATIONS OR ANY OTHER PART OF A
 BUILDING OR STRUCTURE BEFORE THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
 FOR THE WHOLE BUILDING OR STRUCTURE HAVE BEEN
 SUBMITTED, PROVIDED THAT ADEQUATE INFORMATION AND
 DETAILED STATEMENTS HAVE BEEN FILED COMPLYING WITH
 PERTINENT REQUIREMENTS OF THIS CODE. THE HOLDER OF SUCH
 PERMIT FOR THE FOUNDATION OR OTHER PARTS OF A BUILDING
 OR STRUCTURE SHALL PROCEED AT THE HOLDERS OWN RISK WITH
 THE BUILDING OPERATION AND WITHOUT ASSURANCE THAT A
 PERMIT FOR THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE WILL BE GRANTED.
  
 1) PROVISO: FBC-B 3306.9 ADJACENT TO EXCAVATIONS. EVERY
 EXCAVATION ON A SITE LOCATED 5 FEET (1524 MM) OR LESS
 FROM THE STREET LOT LINE SHALL BE ENCLOSED WITH A
 BARRIER NOT LESS THAN 6 FEET (1829 MM) HIGH. WHERE
 LOCATED MORE THAN 5 FEET (1524 MM) FROM THE STREET LOT
 LINE, A BARRIER SHALL BE ERECTED WHEN REQUIRED BY THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL. BARRIERS SHALL BE OF ADEQUATE
 STRENGTH TO RESIST WIND PRESSURE AS SPECIFIED IN
 CHAPTER 16.
  
 2) PROVISO: PERIMETER FENCING UNDER A SEPARATE PERMIT.
 PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH: FBC-B 3306.5 BARRIERS.
 BARRIERS SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 8 FEET (2438 MM) IN
 HEIGHT AND SHALL BE PLACED ON THE SIDE OF THE WALKWAY
 NEAREST THE CONSTRUCTION. BARRIERS SHALL EXTEND THE
 ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE CONSTRUCTION SITE.
  
 3) PROVISO: 2010 FBC-B [F] 3309.1 WHERE REQUIRED. ALL
 STRUCTURES UNDER CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH
 NOT LESS THAN ONE APPROVED PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHER
 IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 906 AND SIZED FOR NOT LESS
 THAN ORDINARY HAZARD AS FOLLOWS:
 1. AT EACH STAIRWAY ON ALL FLOOR LEVELS WHERE
 COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS HAVE ACCUMULATED.
 2. IN EVERY STORAGE AND CONSTRUCTION SHED.
 3. ADDITIONAL PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS SHALL BE
 PROVIDED WHERE SPECIAL HAZARDS EXIST, SUCH AS THE
 STORAGE AND USE OF FLAMMABLE AND COMBUSTIBLE LIQUIDS.
 FBC-B 3309.2 FIRE HAZARDS.
 THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND THE FLORIDA FIRE
 PREVENTION CODE SHALL BE STRICTLY OBSERVED TO SAFEGUARD
 AGAINST ALL FIRE HAZARDS ATTENDANT UPON CONSTRUCTION
 OPERATIONS.
  
 4) PROVISO: [F] 3311.1 WHERE REQUIRED. IN BUILDINGS
 REQUIRED TO HAVE STANDPIPES BY SECTION 905.3.1, NOT
 LESS THAN ONE STANDPIPE SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR USE
 DURING CONSTRUCTION. SUCH STANDPIPES SHALL BE INSTALLED
 WHEN THE PROGRESS OF CONSTRUCTION IS NOT MORE THAN 40
 FEET (12 192 MM) IN HEIGHT ABOVE THE LOWEST LEVEL OF
 FIRE DEPARTMENT VEHICLE ACCESS. SUCH STANDPIPE SHALL BE
 PROVIDED WITH FIRE DEPARTMENT HOSE CONNECTIONS AT
 ACCESSIBLE LOCATIONS ADJACENT TO USABLE STAIRS. SUCH
 STANDPIPES SHALL BE EXTENDED AS CONSTRUCTION PROGRESSES
 TO WITHIN ONE FLOOR OF THE HIGHEST POINT OF
 CONSTRUCTION HAVING SECURED DECKING OR FLOORING.
  
 5) PROVISO: 109.3.10.1 HURRICANE PROTECTION. IT SHALL
 BE UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION
 RELATED MATERIALS EQUIPMENT AND DEBRIS TO REMAIN LOOSE
 OR OTHERWISE UNSECURED AT A CONSTRUCTION SITE FROM 24
 HRS. AFTER A HURRICANE WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED UNTIL THE
 HURRICANE WATCH OR WARNING HAS BEEN LIFTED. ALL SUCH
 CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT AND DEBRIS SHALL BE
 EITHER REMOVED FROM THE CONSTRUCTION SITE OR SECURED IN
 SUCH A MANNER AS TO MINIMIZE THE DANGER OF SUCH
 CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT AND DEBRIS CAUSING
 DAMAGE TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY FROM HIGH WINDS. ANY
 PERSONS WHO FAILS TO COMPLY TO COMPLY TO REMOVE OR
 SECURE THE CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS EQUIPMENT AND DEBRIS
 WITHIN 24 HRS. AFTER A HURRICANE WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED
 SHALL BE SUBJECT TO A FINE NOT TO EXCEED $500.00. IN
 ADDITION TO THE ABOVE, A LICENSED CONTRACTOR WHO
 VIOLATES THIS SECTION SHALL BE SUBJECT TO DISCIPLINE
 PURSUANT TO SECTION 113 OF THIS CHAPTER.
  
 6) IMPACT FEES: PALM BEACH COUNTY IMPACT FEE OFFICE
 DEFERRED UNTIL THE ISSUANCE OF THE BUILDING PERMIT.

 7) PROVISO: UNDER A SEPARATE PERMIT. ALL CONSTRUCTION
 TRAILERS (MOBILE OR MODULAR BUILDINGS) THAT ARE GOING
 TO HAVE MEETING IN THEM WILL BE REQUIRED TO GET A
 PERMIT, 102.2( E ) MOBILE OR MODULAR STRUCTURES USED AS
 TEMPORARY OFFICES, EXCEPT THAT THE PROVISIONS OF PART V
 (SECTION 553.501-553.513, FLORIDA STATUTES) RELATING TO
 ACCESSIBILITY BY PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES, AND PERMITS
 SHALL BE REQUIRED FOR STRUCTURAL SUPPORT AND TIE DOWN,
 ELECTRICAL SUPPLY, AND ALL UTILITY CONNECTIONS TO SUCH
 MOBILE OR MODULAR STRUCTURES.
  
 8) PROVISO: UNDER A SEPARATE PERMIT. DEPENDING ON THE
 SIZE OF THE CONSTRUCTION TRAILERS, CLOSENESS TO
 BUILDINGS AND OR OTHER CONSTRUCTION TRAILERS THE FIRE
 DEPARTMENT THROUGH THE FIRE PREVENTION CODE MAY REQUIRE
 FIRE SPRINKLERS.
