 1- AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED, BRING THEM TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD.) FOR IMPACT FEES ASSESSMENT.
 BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF PAID
 RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE. COUNTY IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE OF
 THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE.
  
 2- ARCHITECT TO PROVIDE ALL HIS INFORMATION ON THE
 TITLE BLOCK AS REQUIRED BY FLORIDA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE
 SEC. 61G1-16.004 AND CHAPTER 481 F.S.
  
 3- PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS. SEC. 1006 OF 2010
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. NOTE: PLEASE COORDINATE ENERGY
 CALCULATIONS WITH PLANS AND PRODUCT APPROVALS TO AVOID
 CONFLICTS AND/OR UN-NECESSARY DELAYS.
  
 4- PROVIDE COMPLETE DESIGN INFORMATION: BUILDING
 EXPOSURE, ULTIMATE AND NOMINAL WIND SPEED. SEC.

 6- PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN FLOOD ZONE A5. CITY FLOOD
 PREVENTION AND CONTROL SEC. 94-541 REQUIRES FINISH
 FLOOR ELEVATION TO BE 6" ABOVE THE BASE FLOOR
 ELEVATION. THE BASE FLOOD ELEVATION FOR FLOOD ZONE A5
 IS 7'-0". PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION SHOWING
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE FLOOD RESISTANT CONSTRUCTION AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R322 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. PROVIDE
 SURVEY SHOWING THE FINISH FLOOR ELEVATION OF EXISTING
 HOUSE AND GARAGE AND THE PROPOSED ADDITION. NOTE:
 SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENTS MAY TRIGGER THE HOUSE TO BE
 RAISED IF THE FINISH FLOOR ELEVATION IS BELOW 7'-6".
 THE FOLLOWING IS THE DEFINITION OF SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENTS: SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT MEANS ANY
 COMBINATION OF REPAIRS, RECONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION, OR
 IMPROVEMENTS TO A STRUCTURE, TAKING PLACE DURING THE
 LIFE OF A STRUCTURE, IN WHICH THE CUMULATIVE COST
 EQUALS OR EXCEEDS 50 PERCENT OF THE MARKET VALUE OF THE
 STRUCTURE. THE MARKET VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE SHOULD BE
 THE APPRAISED VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE PRIOR TO THE START
 OF THE INITIAL REPAIR OR IMPROVEMENT, OR IN THE CASE OF
 DAMAGE, THE VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE PRIOR TO THE DAMAGE
 OCCURRING. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS DEFINITION,
 "SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT" IS CONSIDERED TO OCCUR WHEN
 THE FIRST ALTERATION OF ANY WALL, CEILING, FLOOR, OR
 OTHER STRUCTURAL PART OF THE BUILDING COMMENCES,
 WHETHER OR NOT THAT ALTERATION AFFECTS THE EXTERNAL
 DIMENSIONS OF THE STRUCTURE. THE TERM "SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENT" DOES NOT, HOWEVER, INCLUDE ANY IMPROVEMENT
 OF A STRUCTURE TO COMPLY WITH EXISTING HEALTH,
 SANITARY, OR SAFETY CODES WHICH ARE SOLELY NECESSARY TO
 ENSURE SAFE LIVING CONDITIONS.
  
 7- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR:
 A) ALL WINDOW TYPES SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 B) WINDOW MULLIONS. AND, SPECIFY SIZE TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE DESIGN PRESSURES.
  
 C) FLAT ROOF. AND CLEARLY IDENTIFY SELECTED ASSEMBLY.
 PROVIDE SIGNED AND SEALED RAS 117 CALCULATIONS IF THE
 SELECTED ASSEMBLY DOESN'T MEET THE DESIGN PRESSURES
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R301 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 D) HUGHES, SEMCO AND SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS
 SPECIFIED ON ALL DETAILS. PROVIDE ONLY THE FLORIDA
 PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER PAGE AND THE PAGE SHOWING THE
 SPECIFIED CONNECTOR. OR, LIST THE FLORIDA PRODUCT
 APPROVAL NUMBER NEXT TO EACH SPECIFIED CONNECTOR.
  
 E) HARDIEBOARD FASCIA, SOFFIT AND SIDING SPECIFIED ON
 PLANS.
  
 F) NEW INSWING DOOR SHOWN IN THE HOME OFFICE.
  
 8- DESIGN PROFESSIONAL TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 9- PROVIDE FOUNDATION AND ROOF FRAMING PLAN WITH
 COMPLETE INFORMATION. SEC. 107.3.5.3(5) CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 10- SHEET A-1.0: SPECIFY TYPE AND SIZE OF BEDROOM #1
 WINDOW TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE EGRESS
 REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. 604 OF 2010 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 NOTE: THERE WERE SOME WINDOWS ON BEDROOM #1 THAT WERE
 ELIMINATED. EGRESS OPENINGS WERE REDUCED. NOW, THIS
 WINDOW IS THE ONLY MEANS OF EGRESS FOR THIS BEDROOM.
 NEED COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. R310 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 11- WALL SECTION #1 ON SHEET A-1.1 :
 A) SPECIFY SIZE OF RING SHANK NAILS SPECIFIED FOR THE
 ROOF SHEATHING AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R803.2.3.1 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 B) CLARIFY HOW TO INSTALL R-35 FGB INSULATION ON A 2X10
 ROOF JOIST?. IT LOOKS LIKE IT DOESN'T FIT ON A 2X10.
 PROVIDE SPECS FOR THE R-35 FGB. SEC. 103.2.2 OF 2010
 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION. NOTE: COORDINATE WITH ROOF
 CROSS VENTILATION ON ITEM #12 BELOW.
  
 C) SPECIFY CONNECTOR FOR 2X10 ROOF JOISTS. NOTE:
 SPECIFY CONNECTORS AT BOTH ENDS. SEC. R301.1 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 D) PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 INSTALLATION OF THE DROPPED CEILING. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 E) CLARIFY WALL INSULATION. R-19 OR R-21. ONLY THE
 VALUE OF THE INSULATION CAN BE ACCOUNTED FOR. SEE SEC.
 304.1.2 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 F) CLARIFY SIZE OF SS-J-BOLT ANCHOR SPECIFIED TO FASTEN
 THE BOTTOM PLATE. 12"???. ALSO, SPECIFY HOW MUCH
 EMBEDMENT IS REQUIRED INTO THE CONCRETE SLAB. SEC.
 R301.1 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 12- SPECIFY ROOF CROSS VENTILATION OR PROVIDE COMPLETE
 DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS IF DESIGNING A NON VENTED
 ROOF AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R806 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 13- HURRICANE CLIPS DETAIL #3 ON SHEET A-1.1 IS NOT
 LEGIBLE. LETTERING AND DRAWINGS ARE TOO SMALL. REVISE
 AS REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1.4 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 14- SPECIFY CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS FOR ALL BEDROOMS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R315 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 IMPORTANT: PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN FLOOD ZONE A5:
 ELEVATION CERTIFICATES WILL BE REQUIRED DURING
 CONSTRUCTION.
