 2-REVISE THE DESIGN PARAMETERS INFORMATION SHOWN ON
 SHEET 1 OF 5:
 A) THE CURRENT CODE IS 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL NOT 2001
 FBC
  
 B) THE BUILDING EXPOSURE CATEGORY IS "C" NOT "B".
 REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. R301.2.1.4 AND SEC.

 C) BASIC WIND SPEED OF 140 MPH IS NOT THE RIGHT WIND

 BETWEEN PORCH COLUMNS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH SEC.

 5- ROOF PLAN ON SHEET 4 OF 5:
 A) TRUSS CONNECTOR (HETA 20) DOESN'T WORK FOR THE
 EXISTING WALL. IT CAN NOT BE EMBEDDED INTO THE EXISTING
 TIE BEAM. REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. R801.2 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 B) STRAPPING SCHEDULE SPECIFIES CONNECTOR "TO CONCRETE
 BEAM" . WHERE IS THE CONCRETE BEAM. CLARIFY AS
 REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 6- TYPICAL WALL SECTION ON SHEET 5 OF 5:
 A) MOST OF THE INFORMATION IS NOT CLEAR. LETTERING IS
 TOO SMALL AND IS NOT LEGIBLE. REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC.
 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 B) REVISE ROOF SHEATHING NAILING SPECIFICATIONS. NEED
 TO USE MIN. 8D RING SHANK NAILS AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 R803.2.3.1 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 C) PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF THE SOFFIT TO SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE DESIGN PRESSURES AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R703.1.3 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 D) PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 PORCH CEILING CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION. PROVIDE
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE DESIGN PRESSURES OF SEC. R301.1.
 ALSO, PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
 5/8 DRYWALL. TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THAT THIS IS AN
 EXTERIOR APPLICATION.
  
 E) PROVIDE LEGIBLE AND CLEAR SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 BEAM. REMEMBER THAT THIS IS NOT A CONTINUOUS WALL. THIS
 IS AN ENCLOSED PORCH SUPPORTED ON COLUMNS. SEC. R801.2
 OF 2010 FC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 F) COORDINATE INFORMATION ON TYP. WALL & BEAM
 ATTACHMENT DETAIL WITH TYP. WALL SECTION. COORDINATE
 BEAM SPECIFICATIONS AND THERE IS NOT CONCRETE BLOCK
 WALL. THEY ARE JUST COLUMNS AND BEAM. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 G) SPECIFY SIZE OF SOFFIT VENT TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH
 SEC. R806 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 7- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR:
 A) ROOF SHINGLES.
  
 B) SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED ON PLANS.
 PROVIDE THE PRODUCT APPROVAL NUMBER NEXT TO THE
 SPECIFIED CONNECTOR OR PROVIDE COPY OF PRODUCT APPROVAL
 COVER PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING THE SPECIFIED CONNECTOR.
  
 C) PRECAST LINTEL SPECIFIED ON LINTEL DETAIL.
  
 8- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS. VALUATION WAS UPDATED TO $13, 000. THE
 PERMIT FEE BALANCE IS $339.78.
  
 9- PROVIDE THE NAME AND SIGNATURE OF THE PERSON
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DESIGN AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.2.1
 CITY AMENDMENTS.

 COMMENT TO EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
