 THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL SYSTEM DOES HAVE TESTING
 FOR PERMA-SHIELD VINYL CLAD WOOD CASEMENT WINDOWS, LMI
 TESTING NUMBER IS FL12496-R2 THIS IS A CASEMENT WINDOW
 WITH +/- 70 PSF. I'VE PRINTED THEM OUT TO BE PART OF
 THE PERMIT PACKAGE.
 THEY STILL WILL NEED TO BE REVIEWED BY THE DESSIGNER OF
 RECORD AND SHOP DRAWING STAMP OF APPROVAL APPLIED.
  
 3A) SHEET A2.0 ALSO INDICATES THE REUSE OF THE EXISTING
 DOORS WHICH WERE INSTALLED BEFORE THE LARGE MISSILE
 IMPACT TESTING REQUIREMENTS. A SITE SPECIFIC APPROVAL
 WILL NEED TO BE ACCOMPLISHED BY AN ENGINEER PROVIDING
 CALCULATIONS AND OR RATIONAL ANALYSIS FOR THE EXISTING
 DOOR AND FRAME FOR THE WIND PRESSURES AND THE ANCHORING
 OF THE FRAME TO THE MAIN WIND FORCE RESISTING SYSTEM.
 THE OTHER ISSUE IS THE DOORS WILL REQUIRE STORM
 SHUTTERS, EITHER PROVIDE NEW STORM SHUTTERS FOR THIS
 OPENING OR THE ENGINEER WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO DO
 SITE SPECIFIC APPROVAL OF THE EXISTING STORM SHUTTER
 SYSTEM PROVIDING CALCULATIONS AND OR RATIONAL ANALYSIS
 OF THE STORM SHUTTERS, AND ANCHORING OF SHUTTERS TO THE
 STRUCTURE.
  
 1703.4 PERFORMANCE.
 SPECIFIC INFORMATION CONSISTING OF TEST REPORTS
 CONDUCTED BY AN APPROVED TESTING AGENCY IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH STANDARDS REFERENCED IN CHAPTER 35, OR OTHER SUCH
 INFORMATION AS NECESSARY, SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL TO DETERMINE THAT THE MATERIAL MEETS
 THE APPLICABLE CODE REQUIREMENTS.
  
 1703.4.1 RESEARCH AND INVESTIGATION.
 SUFFICIENT TECHNICAL DATA SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL TO SUBSTANTIATE THE PROPOSED USE OF
 ANY MATERIAL OR ASSEMBLY. IF IT IS DETERMINED THAT THE
 EVIDENCE SUBMITTED IS SATISFACTORY PROOF OF PERFORMANCE
 FOR THE USE INTENDED, THE BUILDING OFFICIAL SHALL
 APPROVE THE USE OF THE MATERIAL OR ASSEMBLY SUBJECT TO
 THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS CODE. THE COSTS, REPORTS AND
 INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED UNDER THESE PROVISIONS SHALL BE
 PAID BY THE APPLICANT.
  
 1703.4.2 RESEARCH REPORTS.
 SUPPORTING DATA, WHERE NECESSARY TO ASSIST IN THE
 APPROVAL OF MATERIALS OR ASSEMBLIES NOT SPECIFICALLY
