 1 UPLOAD VIA THE PROJECT DOX PORTAL WITH DIGITAL
 SIGNATURES OF DESIGN PROFESSIONALS AS APPLICABLE; USE
 THE REQUIRED NAMING CONVENTION FOR EACH DOCUMENT
 2 INCLUDE ON A CD IF DESIGN PROFESSIONAL DIGITAL
 SIGNATURES ARE PROVIDED AS REQUIRED; USE THE REQUIRED
 NAMING CONVENTION FOR EACH DOCUMENT
 3 INCLUDE ON A CD WITH ONE SET OF TRADITIONAL PAPER
 DESIGN DOCUMENTS SIGNED AND SEALED AS REQUIRED; USE THE
 REQUIRED NAMING CONVENTION FOR EACH DOCUMENT
 4 ONE SET OF TRADITIONAL PAPER DESIGN DOCUMENTS SUBJECT

 601 FOR STRUCTURAL MEMBERS THAT REQUIRE FIRE RESISTANCE
 RATING.

 ENTRY DOORS AND SIDE LITES, PLEASE PROVIDE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS FOR THIS OPENING.

 REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9N-3 SHALL BE REVIEWED AND

 ELEVATION A DOUBLE DOORWAY BEING CLOSED, PLEASE PROVIDE
 DETAILS. SHEET II-A2-0 NORTH ELEVATION SHOWS A NEW
 3'-0" EXIT DOORWAY THIS DOOR WILL REQUIRE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL ALSO AS WELL AS A SECTION THROUGH THE NEW
 DOORWAY FOR THE NEW COLUMNS AND LINTEL THAT WILL BE
 REQUIRED .

 CONCRETE HOLLOW PLANK FLOOR SYSTEM. THE PLANS STATE THE
 TIE IN TO BE DESIGNED BY THE HOLLOW PLANK MANUFATURER.
 THE CONCRETE HOLLOW PLANK
 MANUFACTURER WILL NEED TO PROVIDE THE ENGINEERED DESIGN
 CRITERIA THAT THIS UNIT IS BEING DESIGNED FOR THIS
 APPLICATIION AND WIND SPEED.
  
 107.2.1 INFORMATION ON CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS.
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE DIMENSIONED AND DRAWN
 UPON SUITABLE MATERIAL. ELECTRONIC MEDIA DOCUMENTS
 SHALL BE SUBMITTED WHEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE OF SUFFICIENT
 CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE AND EXTENT OF
 THE WORK PROPOSED AND SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT WILL
 CONFORM TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND RELEVANT
 LAWS, ORDINANCES, RULES AND REGULATIONS, AS DETERMINED
 BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 4) SHEET II-A4.0 & II-A5.0 BOTH SHOW THE ADDITION OF A
 ROOFED OVER PATIO. SHEET II-S2.0 ALSO SHOWS THE USE OF,
 WOOD BEARING BEAMS, WOOD TRUSSES, WOOD SHEATHING, WOOD
 COLUMNS AND WOOD LEDGERS TO CREATE THE NEW CANOPY.
 PLEASE REVIEW 2010 FBC-B 603.1 COMBUSTIBLE MATERIAL IN
 TYPE I
 AND II CONSTRUCTION: 1. FIRE-RETARDANT-TREATED WOOD
 SHALL BE PERMITTED IN:
  
 1.1. NONBEARING PARTITIONS WHERE THE REQUIRED
 FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING IS 2 HOURS OR LESS.
  
 1.2. NONBEARING EXTERIOR WALLS WHERE NO FIRE RATING IS
 REQUIRED.
  
 1.3. ROOF CONSTRUCTION, INCLUDING GIRDERS, TRUSSES,
 FRAMING AND DECKING.
  
 EXCEPTION: IN BUILDINGS OF TYPE IA CONSTRUCTION
 EXCEEDING TWO STORIES ABOVE GRADE PLANE,
 FIRE-RETARDANT-TREATED WOOD IS NOT PERMITTED IN ROOF
 CONSTRUCTION WHEN THE VERTICAL DISTANCE FROM THE UPPER
 FLOOR TO THE ROOF IS LESS THAN 20 FEET.
  
 5) THE ROOFING MATIALS FOR BOTH THE HORIZONTAL CONCRETE
 HOLLOW CORE EYEBROW AND THE STANDING SEAM METAL ROOFING
 WILL ALSO REQUIRE PRODUCT APPROVALS.
  
 107.2.1.2 FOR ROOF ASSEMBLIES REQUIRED BY THE CODE, THE
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL ILLUSTRATE, DESCRIBE AND
 DELINEATE THE TYPE OF ROOFING SYSTEM, MATERIALS,
 FASTENING REQUIREMENTS, FLASHING REQUIREMENTS AND WIND
 RESISTANCE RATING THAT ARE REQUIRED TO BE INSTALLED.
 PRODUCT EVALUATION AND INSTALLATION SHALL INDICATE
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE WIND CRITERIA REQUIRED FOR THE
 SPECIFIC SITE OR A STATEMENT BY AN ARCHITECT OR
 ENGINEER FOR THE SPECIFIC SITE MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH
 THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS.
  
 6) SHEET II-A4-0 DETAIL # 3 SHOWS A NEW EXTERIOR WALL
 BEHEATH THE CONCRETE HOLLOW PLANKS EYEBROW. SHEET
 II-A5-0 DETAILS SHOW ANOTHER SECTION OF THIS SAME WALL.
 NOTE THERE ARE NO SECTIONS THROUGH THE ARCHITECTURAL
 NOR STRUCTURAL SHEETS GIVING ANY STRUCTURAL
 INFORMATION. ARE THE METAL STUDS, STRUCTURAL OR
 ARCHITECURAL, GAUGE, ANCHORING TOP AND BOTTOM PLATES,
 ALLOWABLE COMBUSTIBLES TYPE I CONSTRUCTION. FASTENERS,
 TYPE, SIZE AND FREQUENCY FOR THE SUBSHEATHING AND
 FINISH.
  
 107.2.1 INFORMATION ON CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS.
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE OF SUFFICIENT CLARITY
 TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE AND EXTENT OF THE WORK
 PROPOSED AND SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT WILL CONFORM TO THE
 PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES,
 RULES AND REGULATIONS, AS DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.
  
 7) SHEET II-A5-0 DETAIL # 2 INDICATES A HANDRAIL ALONG
 THE NEW RAMP BUT THE HANDRAIL AS DRAWN CONTINUES DOWN
 THE SAME SLOPE AS THE RAMP FOR AN ADDITIONAL 8'-0". NO
 MENTION OF A HANDRAIL ON THE WALL SIDE OF THE RAMP.
 PLEASE REVIEW FBC-B 1010.8 .
  
 8) SHEET II-S2.0 SHOWS A WIND LOAD SCHEDULE FOR ROOFING
 ZONES 1,2 & 3. THE SCHEDULE DOES NOT INDICATE IF THIS
 IS FOR A FLAT ROOF OR IF IT IS FOR THE SLOPED ROOF 2/12
 PITCH. IF THIS FOR A FLAT ROOF THE PRESSURES SHOULD BE
 TAKEN AT 10 SQ. FT. THE PRESSURES SHOULD BE HIGHER THAN
 SHOWN. THERE SHOULD ALSO BE A SCHEDULE FOR A 2/12
 SLOPED ROOF FOR THE METAL ROOFING. FBC-B 1609.1.2.3.1.
  
 9) SHEET II-S1.0 DETAIL 5 SHOWS A DISCREPANCY IN WHERE
 THE WELD LOCATION IS LOCATED. THE PLANS DOES NOT SHOW
 THE WELD LOCATION FROM THE BASE PLATE TO COLUMN.
 107.2.1.3 DISCRPANCY, ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS
 REQUIRED.
  
 10) BECAUSE OF THE WELDING ON THIS PROJECT AND THE
 HORIZONTAL CONCRETE HOLLOW PLANK EYEBROW COMPONENT THE
 CITY MAY REQUIRE A RESIDENT INSPECTOR ON THIS SITE. FOR
 THE SHORING OF THE HOLLOW PLANK EYEBROW AS WELL. PLEASE
 CONTACT KEN CONRAD MANAGER OF THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR
 PROGRAM AT 561-805-6715.
  
 11) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE
 REVISION & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES
 AS NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
 COOPERATION.
  
 A THOROUGH REVIEW CAN NOT BE MADE AT THIS TIME, AS A
 RESULT OF THE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUESTED
