 TENANT SPACE A SINGLE DWELLING UNIT OR IS THIS UNIT A
 BOARDING HOUSE OR CONGREGATE LIVING FACILITY, THIS WILL
 AFFECT THE FUTURE REVIEWS. FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS
 REVIEW IT WILL BE TAKEN AS A SINGLE DWELLING UNIT, WITH
 ONE TENANT (FAMILY) NOT A BOARDING HOUSE OR CONGREGATE
 LIVING FACILITY. SEE FBC-B 439.2
  
 2) 2010 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION: 107.3.5
 MINIMUM PLAN REVIWE CRITERIA FOR COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS.
 107.3.5.1 COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS:
 2.2 OCCUPANCY GROUP AND SPECIAL OCCUPANCY REQUIREMENTS
 SHALL BE DETERMINED.
 2.3 MINIMUM TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE DETERMINED
 (SEE TABLE 503).
 2.4 FIRE-RESISTANT CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS SHALL
 INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS: FIRE-RESISTANT
 SEPARATIONS SEE FBC-B 439.3 HORIZONTAL SEPERATION.
  
 3) NOTE FOR CONTRACTOR, CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY:
 ASBESTOS SURVEY
 RESIDENTIAL LEAD BASED PAINT HAZARD ACT OF 1992 AMENDED
 4/ 21/ 2005 FEDERAL ACT.
  
 2010 FBC-EXISTING BUILD. CODE 502.2 NEW AND REPLACEMENT
 MATERIALS. EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE REQUIRED OR PERMITTED BY
 THIS CODE, MATERIALS PERMITTED BY THE APPLICABLE CODE
 FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE USED. LIKE MATERIALS
 SHALL BE PERMITTED FOR REPAIRS AND ALTERATIONS,
 PROVIDED NO DANGEROUS OR UNSAFE CONDITION, AS DEFINED
 IN CHAPTER 2, IS CREATED. HAZARDOUS MATERIALS, SUCH AS
 ASBESTOS AND LEAD-BASED PAINT, SHALL NOT BE USED WHERE
 THE CODE FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION WOULD NOT PERMIT THEIR
 USE IN BUILDINGS OF SIMILAR OCCUPANCY, PURPOSE AND
 LOCATION.
  
 4A) THE DIMOLITION PLANS SHOW WHAT APPEARS TO BE A
 BEARING WALL BEING REMOVED AND DOUBLED 2X4 POST AT 32"
 O. C. PLEASE PROVIDE PLEASE PROVIDE HOW CODE COMPLIANCE
 FOR 2301.2 GENERAL DESIGN REQUIREMENTS (3) CONVENTIONAL
 LIGHT FRAME CONSTRUCTION WITH 2304 AND 2308 WAS
 ACHIEVED.
 2308.1.1 PORTIONS EXCEEDING LIMITATIONS OF CONVENTIONAL
 CONSTRUCTION.
 WHEN PORTIONS OF A BUILDING OF OTHERWISE CONVENTIONAL
 CONSTRUCTION EXCEED THE LIMITS OF SECTION 2308.2, THESE
 PORTIONS AND THE SUPPORTING LOAD PATH SHALL BE DESIGNED
 IN ACCORDANCE WITH ACCEPTED ENGINEERING PRACTICE AND
 THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE.

 4B) 2304.9.6 LOAD PATH. WHERE WALL FRAMING MEMBERS ARE
 NOT CONTINUOUS FROM FOUNDATION SILL TO ROOF, THE
 MEMBERS SHALL BE SECURED TO ENSURE A CONTINUOUS LOAD
 PATH. WHERE REQUIRED, SHEET METAL CLAMPS, TIES OR CLIPS
 SHALL BE FORMED OF GALVANIZED STEEL OR OTHER APPROVED
 CORROSION-RESISTANT MATERIAL NOT LESS THAN 0.040 INCH
 (1.01 MM) NOMINAL THICKNESS.
  
 4C) 2304.9.7 FRAMING REQUIREMENTS. WOOD COLUMNS AND
 POSTS SHALL BE FRAMED TO PROVIDE FULL END BEARING.
 ALTERNATIVELY, COLUMN-AND-POST END CONNECTIONS SHALL BE
 DESIGNED TO RESIST THE FULL COMPRESSIVE LOADS,
 NEGLECTING END-BEARING CAPACITY. COLUMN-AND-POST END
 CONNECTIONS SHALL BE FASTENED TO RESIST LATERAL AND NET
 INDUCED UPLIFT FORCES.
  
 4) BEDROOMS 2 THRU 5 WILL NEED TO INDICATE HOW MANY
 OCCUPANTS WILL BE SLEEPING IN THESE ROOMS TO COMPLY
 WITH WPB MUNI CODE SECTION 18-99 (1).
  
 5) WINDOW RELACEMENT NOTE # 2 INDICATES THE BEDROOM
 WINDOWS THAT NEED TO COMPLY WITH THE 2010 FBC-B 1029.2
 EMERGENCY ESCAPE & RESCUE OPENINGS , MINIMUM SIZE FOR A
 2ND FLOOR, EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENINGS SHALL
 HAVE A MINIMUM NET CLEAR OPENING OF 5.7 SQUARE FEET
 (0.53 M2).
 THE PLANS INDICATE THE INSTALLATION OF A 24 PGT
 WINDGUARD WINDOW, NOTE THIS WINDOW ONLY HAS 4.57 SQ. FT
 IN THE WINDOW VENT, NOT THE REQUIRED 5.7 FT. THE CODE
 DOES ALLOW A 5% REDUCTION IN WINDOW SIZE DUE TO THE
 HEAVIER WINDOW FRAMES OR A CLEAR VENT OF 5.415 SQ. FT.
  
 6) WINDOW NOTE # 1 INDICATES THE INSTALATION OF NEW
 WINDOWS WITH A COMPABLE OPTION FOR OPERABLE SHUTTERS.
 2010 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION, 107.2.1 SUCH DRAWINGS
 AND SPECIFICATIONS SHALL CONTAIN INFORMATION, IN THE
 FORM OF NOTES OR OTHERWISE, AS TO THE QUALITY OF
 MATERIALS, WHERE QUALITY IS ESSENTIAL TO CONFORMITY
 WITH THE TECHNICAL CODES. SUCH INFORMATION SHALL BE
 SPECIFIC, AND THE TECHNICAL CODES SHALL NOT BE CITED AS
 A WHOLE OR IN PART, NOR SHALL THE TERM "LEGAL" OR ITS
