 MINIMUM SAFE BEARING VALUE OF THE SOILS. 2010 FBC-B
 1803.5.2 QUESTIONABLE SOIL.
 WHERE THE CLASSIFICATION, STRENGTH OR COMPRESSIBILITY
 OF THE SOIL IS IN DOUBT OR WHERE A LOAD-BEARING VALUE
 SUPERIOR TO THAT SPECIFIED IN THIS CODE IS CLAIMED, THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL SHALL BE PERMITTED TO REQUIRE THAT A
 GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION BE CONDUCTED.
  
 2) COMPLIED. SHEET S-1 SECTION A-A SHOWS THE BOTTOM OF
 THE FOUNDATION ONLY 6 INCHES BELOW GRADE. 1809.4 DEPTH
 AND WIDTH OF FOOTINGS.
 THE MINIMUM DEPTH OF FOOTINGS BELOW THE UNDISTURBED
 GROUND SURFACE SHALL BE 12 INCHES (305 MM). WHERE
 APPLICABLE, THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 1809.5 SHALL
 ALSO BE SATISFIED. THE MINIMUM WIDTH OF FOOTINGS SHALL
 BE 12 INCHES (305 MM).
  
 3) COMPLIED. THE PLANS DO NOT SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 2010
 FBC-B 1816.1 TERMITE PROTECTION. 1816.1.4 IF SOIL
 TREATMENT IS USED FOR SUBTERRANEAN TERMITE PREVENTION,
 CHEMICALLY TREATED SOIL SHALL BE PROTECTED WITH A
 MINIMUM 6 MILLIMETER VAPOR RETARDER TO PROTECT AGAINST
 RAINFALL DILUTION. IF RAINFALL OCCURS BEFORE VAPOR
 RETARDER PLACEMENT, RETREATMENT IS REQUIRED. ANY WORK,
 INCLUDING PLACEMENT OF REINFORCING STEEL, DONE AFTER
 CHEMICAL TREATMENT UNTIL THE CONCRETE FLOOR IS POURED,
 SHALL BE DONE IN SUCH MANNER AS TO AVOID PENETRATING OR
 DISTURBING TREATED SOIL. ALSO SEE 1910.1.
  
 4) COMPLIED. THE PLANS DO NOT INDICATE WHAT WILL BE
 USED TO RE-INFORCE THE MONOLITHIC SLAB WIRE MESH OR
 FIBER CONCRETE. 2010 FBC-B 1910.1 MINIMUM SLAB
 PROVISONS.
  
 5) SEMI-COMPLIED. SHEET S1 THE ROOF FRAMING PLAN A-A
 PROVIDES DETAILS THAT THIS IS A HAND FRAMED ROOF. THE
 PLANS SHOW 2X8 RIDGE AND 2X4 BENEATH THE RIDGE ON EACH
 END. THIS DETAIL ALSO SHOWS A LUS 24 AT THE CONNECTION
 OF THE RIDGE BEAM TO THE VERTICAL STUD. THIS DETAIL
 DOES NOT SHOW HOW THE VERTICAL STUD WILL BE ANCHORED TO
 THE BEAM, THIS IS PART OF THE MWFRS MAINWIND FORCE
 RESISTING SYSTEM. THERE IS NO NOTE AS ON THE GABLE END
 THE STUD PLACEMENT NOR THE ANCHORING OF THE GABLE END
 WALL SYSTEM.
  
 6) 2ND REQUEST. SHEET S1 ROOF FRAMING PLAN THERE IS NO
 SECTION FOR THE GABLE END WALL FRAMING OR IF THIS WILL
 BE A GABLE END TRUSS, PROVIDE DETAIL AND ANCHORAGE TO
 THE BOND BEAM PART OF THE MWFRS MAIN WIND FORCE
 RESISTING SYSTEM. 2010 FBC-B 1609.6.4 DESIGN PROCEDURE.
  
 7) COMPLIED. THERE IS ONLY ONE SET OF PRODUCT APPROVALS
 SUBMITTED FOR THIS PROJECT, 2 SETS ARE REQUIRED, ONE
 FOR THE FIELD INSPECTORS THE OTHER FOR THE CITY FILES
 RECORD RETENSION.

 IDENTIFYING OPENING SIZES, STORY HEIGHTS, UNIT MARK
 NUMBERS, UNIT SPANS/WIDTHS, UNIT STORM BAR REINFORCING
 REQUIREMENTS, WALL PRESSURE ZONES, SLAT TYPES, ETC.,
 SHALL BE SUBMITTED AT TIME OF PERMIT APPLICATION TO
 FACILITATE PLAN REVIEW AND PERMIT ISSUANCE.

 WIND SPEED, VASD, IS DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 SECTION 1609.3.1 OR THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF RAS 118, 119
 OR 120.

 11) BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAY BE ISSUED, IMPACT
 FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE ACTUAL
 PERMIT SET OF PLANS MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT OFFICE, AND
 A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT ATTACHED TO THE PERMIT
