 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) CLARIFY THE AREA DESCRIPTIONS ON SHEET A-01. THE
 FLOOR PLANS SHOW A GARAGE ON THE FIRST FLOOR AND AN
 APARTMENT ON THE SECOND FLOOR. THE AREA COMPUTATION
 LISTS THE FIRST FLOOR AS A CABANA AND THE SECOND FLOOR
 AS A PLAYROOM. PLEASE COORDINATE. FBC 107.2.1
  
 2) CLARIFY THE TYPE OF WINDOWS THAT WILL BE INSTALLED.
 THE WINDOW SCHEDULE ON A-01 SPECIFY SH (SINGLE HUNG).
 THE NOTES BELOW THE WINDOW SCHEDULE STATE ALL WINDOWS
 TO BE CASEMENT AND FIXED BY T&M WINDOWS. THE WINDOW
 PRODUCT APPROVAL IS FOR PGT DOUBLE HUNG WINDOWS. FBC
 107.2.1
  
 3) FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS
 FOR THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9N-3
 THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD. PROVIDE SUBMITTALS FOR THE 8' WIDE
 DOUBLE OUTSWING GARAGE DOORS.
  
 4) FBC-R318.6 ROOF DOWNSPOUTS SHALL DISCHARGE AT LEAST
 1 FOOT (305 MM) AWAY FROM THE STRUCTURE SIDEWALL,
 WHETHER BY UNDERGROUND PIPING, TAIL EXTENSIONS OR
 SPLASH BLOCKS.
  
 5) FBC-R311.7.7.1 HANDRAIL HEIGHT, MEASURED VERTICALLY
 FROM THE SLOPED PLANE ADJOINING THE TREAD NOSING, OR
 FINISH SURFACE OF RAMP SLOPE, SHALL BE NOT LESS THAN 34
 INCHES AND NOT MORE THAN 38 INCHES.
  
 6) FBC-R704 IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR INSPECTION FOR
 TERMITE INFESTATION, CLEARANCE BETWEEN EXTERIOR WALL
 COVERINGS AND FINAL EARTH GRADE ON THE EXTERIOR OF A
 BUILDING SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 6 INCHES EXCEPTIONS: 1.
 PAINT OR DECORATIVE CEMENTITIOUS FINISH LESS THAN 5/8
 INCH THICK ADHERED DIRECTLY TO THE MASONRY FOUNDATION
 SIDEWALL. THE PLANS SPECIFY 7/8" THICK STUCCO ON THE
 MASONRY WALLS. THE STUCCO WILL BE REQUIRED TO STOP 6"
 ABOVE GRADE UNLESS IT IS LESS THAN 5/8 INCH THICK.
  
 7) R314.3 SMOKE ALARMS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN THE
 FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:
 1. IN EACH SLEEPING ROOM.
 2. OUTSIDE EACH SEPARATE SLEEPING AREA IN THE IMMEDIATE
 VICINITY OF THE BEDROOMS.
 3. ON EACH ADDITIONAL STORY OF THE DWELLING, INCLUDING
 BASEMENTS AND HABITABLE ATTICS BUT NOT INCLUDING CRAWL
 SPACES AND UNINHABITABLE ATTICS. IN DWELLINGS OR
 DWELLING UNITS WITH SPLIT LEVELS AND WITHOUT AN
 INTERVENING DOOR BETWEEN THE ADJACENT LEVELS, A SMOKE
 ALARM INSTALLED ON THE UPPER LEVEL SHALL SUFFICE FOR
 THE ADJACENT LOWER LEVEL PROVIDED THAT THE LOWER LEVEL
 IS LESS THAN ONE FULL STORY BELOW THE UPPER LEVEL.
  
 8) FBC-R 315.1 ? PROVIDE CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS WITHIN
 10 FEET OF EACH SLEEPING ROOM.
  
 9) R302.6 DWELLING/GARAGE FIRE SEPARATION. THE GARAGE
 SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM ALL HABITABLE ROOMS ABOVE THE
 GARAGE BY NOT LESS THAN 5/8-INCH TYPE X GYPSUM BOARD OR
 EQUIVALENT.
