 CODE: 2010 FBC.
  
 1- BRING PLANS TO PALM BEACH COUNTY BUILDING (2300 N.
 JOG RD.) TO VERIFY IF IMPACT FEES ARE DUE. BRING BACK
 COUNTY STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF PAID RECEIPT IF FEES
 ARE DUE. REQUIRED BY THE COUNTY IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE OF
 THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE.
  
 2- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. VALUATION WAS UPDATED TO $51,955. THE VALUATION TO
 INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS. CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND
 PROFIT AND ALL DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. 109.3 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 3- IT LOOKS LIKE THE THE EXISTING EXTERIOR WALL TO BE
 REMOVED TO ALLOW FOR THE NEW SITTING AREA IS A LOAD
 BEARING WALL. THERE ARE NO DETAILS OR SPECIFICATIONS ON
 PLANS SHOWING HOW THE LOADS ARE SUPPORTED. PROVIDE
 INFORMATION ADDRESSING THIS ISSUE. SEC. R301 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 4- SHEET 4.1:
 A) ROOF FRAMING PLAN: 4" LONG TAPCONS MAY BE TOO SHORT
 TO HOLD (2)2 X 6 WOOD LEDGER. ENGINEER TO PROVIDE
 CALCULATIONS SHOWING THAT SPECIFIED TAPCON LENGTH WITH
 ONLY 1" EMBEDMENT INTO EXISTING WALL IS ADEQUATE TO
 SUPPORT THE LOADS. SEC. 107.2.1.3 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 5- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR:
 A) PRECAST LINTELS AS SPECIFIED ON PLANS.
  
 B) SLIDING GLASS DOORS AS SHOWN ON PLANS. PRODUCT
 APPROVAL SUBMITTED WAS FOR FIBERGLASS DOUBLE SWING
 DOORS.
  
 6- COMPONENTS AND CLADDING PRESSURE ZONES ON SHEET 5.1:
 ENGINEER TO REVISE THE CORNER DISTANCE "A". ACCORDING
 TO FOOTNOTE ON FIGURE R301.2(7) OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL
 THE DIMENSION FOR "A" IS 4 FEET IN ALL CASES, NOT 3
 FEET. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 7- SHEET 6.1:
 A) TYPICAL WALL SECTION: SIZE OF FOOTING DOESN'T MATCH
 SIZE SPECIFIED ON THE FOUNDATION PLAN. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 B) CLARIFY ATTACHMENT OF (2)2 X 6 WOOD LEDGER TO
 EXISTING WALL. IS THE WOOD LEDGER GOING TO BE ATTACHED
 TO A CONCRETE BEAM OR TO A WOOD FRAMED WALL. THERE IS A
 NOTE ON SAME DRAWING SAYING THAT SECOND FLOOR WALL IS
 WOOD FRAMED. CLARIFY/REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1
 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 C) STUCCO SHALL BE NOT LESS THAN 3 COATS AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R702.2.2 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED.

 8- SPECIFY CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS FOR ALL SLEEPING
 ROOMS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R315.1 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 9- PROVIDE MANUFACTURER SPECS FOR WINDOWS AND DOORS
 U-FACTOR AND SHGC FACTOR SHOWING VALUES SPECIFIED ON
 ITEM #7 OF THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED. SEC.
 103.2.2 OF 2010 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 10- PROVIDE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS SHOWING
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE INSULATION R-VALUE SPECIFIED ON THE
 ENERGY CALCULATIONS FOR MASONRY WALLS ON ITEM #9. SEC.
 103.2.2 OF 2010 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 11- ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED:
 A) CLARIFY IF CALCULATIONS ARE DONE FOR THE ENTIRE
 HOUSE OR JUST FOR THE ADDITION. INFORMATION SUBMITTED
 APPLIES TO ENTIRE HOUSE ON SOME AREAS, BUT ONLY FOR THE
 ADDITION IN OTHER AREAS. REVISE AS REQUIRED. PROVIDE
 EITHER INFORMATION FOR JUST THE ADDITION OR FOR ENTIRE
 HOUSE, BUT DON'T MIX BOTH. SEC. 103.2.2 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 ***NOTE: PROVIDE ONLY THE CALCULATIONS THAT PERTAIN TO
 FORM 405-10 TO AVOID CONFUSIN OR CONFLICTS.
