 1) SKETCH ASK-1 INDICATES A TYPICAL SOFFIT DETAIL
 PLEASE PROVIDE WHERE THIS SOFFIT IS LOCATED ON SHEET
 A111.00. DEPENDING WHERE THIS SOFFIT IS TO BE LOCATED,
 THERE WOULD BE DIFFERENT FASTENERS REQUIRED. THE ASK-1
 DETAIL DOES NOT PROVIDE HOW FAR THE SOFFIT IS TO DROP
 WIDTH OR LENGTH OF THE SOFFIT., WHAT THE CLEAR HEIGHT
 IS UNDER THIS SOFFIT,NOR IF EXIT LIGHTS OR DIRECTIONS
 ARE BLOCKED BY THE SOFFIT. 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 THE CEILING/ FLOOR ASSEMBLY IS A FIRE RATED ASSEMBLY
 SINCE THERE IS A SECOND STORY, DOES THE EXISTING FLOOR/
 CEILING ASSEMBLY STILL CREATE THE HORIZONTAL FIRE
 BARRIER REQUIRED BY 707.3.9.
  
 2A) ASK 2 & 3 BOTH OF THESE DETAILS ARE FOR A TYPICAL
 CHAIR DISPLAY. AGAIN THE SKETCHES DO NOT INDICATE WHERE
 THEY ARE TO BE INSTALLED WITHIN THE TENANT SPACE. SHEET
 A113.00 IT APPEARS THIS DISPLAY IS ON THE SOUTH WALL
 WHICH IS A 1 HOUR TENANT SEPARATION WALL. IF THIS IS
 THE CASE PLEASE PROVIDE THE WALL ASSEMBLY THAT ALLOWS
 THE DRYWALL TO BE REMOVED FROM THE ASSEMBLY AND A METAL
 STUD OR PLATE INSERTED INTO THE CAVITY.
 2010 FBC-B 709.1(6). / 709.3 FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING.
 FIRE PARTITIONS SHALL HAVE A FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING OF
 NOT LESS THAN 1 HOUR.
 709.8 JOINTS. JOINTS MADE IN OR BETWEEN FIRE PARTITIONS
 SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 714.
 714.1 GENERAL. JOINTS INSTALLED IN OR BETWEEN
 FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED WALLS, FLOOR OR FLOOR/CEILING
 ASSEMBLIES AND ROOFS OR ROOF/CEILING ASSEMBLIES SHALL
 BE PROTECTED BY AN APPROVED FIRE-RESISTANT JOINT SYSTEM
 DESIGNED TO RESIST THE PASSAGE OF FIRE FOR A TIME
 PERIOD NOT LESS THAN THE REQUIRED FIRE-RESISTANCE
 RATING OF THE WALL, FLOOR OR ROOF IN OR BETWEEN WHICH
 IT IS INSTALLED. FIRE-RESISTANT JOINT SYSTEMS SHALL BE
 TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 714.3. THE VOID
 CREATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF A FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLY
 AND AN EXTERIOR CURTAIN WALL ASSEMBLY SHALL BE
 PROTECTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 714.4.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION &
 REMOVE & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL
 LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH
 A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE
 SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE
 FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR
