 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
 BUILDING
  
 1) THE ENGINEER'S SEAL THAT APPEARS ON THE PLANS IS NO
 LONGER ACCEPTABLE. THE SEAL WAS CHANGED ON JANURARY 1,
 2006 REQUIRING THE WORD "LICENSE" TO BE USED INSTEAD OF
 THE WORD "CERTIFICATE". PLEASE SUBMIT PLANS THAT HAVE A
 SEAL THAT IS ACCEPTED BY THE BOARD OF ENGINEERS. FS 471
  
 2) FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS
 FOR THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9N-3
 THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD.
 A) THE PRODUCT APPROVALS THAT WERE SUBMITTED FOR THE
 SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS ( NOA NO. 12-0213.05 ) AND THE
 ALUMINUM TUBE MULLIONS ( NOA NO. 12-0221.09 ) HAVE NOT
 BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE ENGINEER.
 B) THE INSTALLATION DRAWINGS WERE NOT SHRUNK TO FIT ON
 THE 8.5" X 11" SIZE PAPER AND ARE MISSING INFORMATION.
 SUBMIT PRODUCT APPROVALS WITH COMPLETE DRAWINGS.
 C) NO PRODUCT APPROVALS WERE SUBMITTED FOR THE EXTERIOR
 DOORS. SUBMIT TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE
 EXTERIOR DOORS THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN
 WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD.
  
 3) FBC-R314.3.1 ALTERATIONS, REPAIRS AND ADDITIONS.
 WHEN ALTERATIONS, REPAIRS OR ADDITIONS REQUIRING A
 PERMIT OCCUR, OR WHEN ONE OR MORE SLEEPING ROOMS ARE
 ADDED OR CREATED IN EXISTING DWELLINGS, THE INDIVIDUAL
 DWELLING UNIT SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH SMOKE ALARMS
 LOCATED AS REQUIRED FOR NEW DWELLINGS. SHOW SMOKE
 ALARMS ON THE PLANS.
  
 4) SPECIFY THE WIND DESIGN DATA INCLUDING THE EXPOSURE
 CATEGORY ON THE PLANS. FBCR 301.2.1.1
  
 5) SPECIFY THE REQUIRED COMPONENT & CLADDING PRESSURES
 FOR THE WINDOW AND DOORS ON THE PLANS. FBCR 301.2.1 THE
 C & C PRESSURES THAT WERE SPECIFIED ON THE PLANS ( +80
 , -115 PSF ) AND (+50 , -50 PSF )ARE INCORRECT.
  
 6) PROVIDE COMPLETE STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS AND DETAILS FOR
 THE NEW CARPORT TO SHOW THAT IT COMPLIES WITH FBC-R
 301.1. BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, AND ALL PARTS THEREOF,
 SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED TO SAFELY SUPPORT ALL LOADS,
 INCLUDING DEAD LOADS, LIVE LOADS, ROOF LOADS, FLOOD
 LOADS, AND WIND LOADS AS PRESCRIBED BY THIS CODE. THE
 CONSTRUCTION OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE SHALL RESULT IN A
 SYSTEM THAT PROVIDES A COMPLETE LOAD PATH THAT MEETS
 ALL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TRANSFER OF ALL LOADS FROM
 THEIR POINT OF ORIGIN THROUGH THE LOAD-RESISTING
 ELEMENTS TO THE FOUNDATION. SPECIFY THE FOUNDATION AND
 SLAB SIZE AND RE-INFORCEMENT, THE COLUMN, BEAM AND
 RAFTER SIZES AND TYPE OF WOOD. SPECIFY THE RAFTER
 SPACING AND THE ROOF SHEATHING THAT IS REQUIRED.
 SPECIFY ALL OF THE ANCHORS, STRAPS, HANGERS AND
 FASTENERS THAT WILL BE REQUIRED. FBC 107.2.1 AND
 107.2.1.3 IF THE INFORMATION FOR THE ALUMINUM CARPORT
 IS NOT PROVIDED WITH THIS SUBMITTAL, THEN A SEPERATE
 PERMIT, APPLICATION AND REVIEW WILL BE REQUIRED. NOTE
 ON PLANS THAT THE CARPORT AND FRONT PORCH AWNING ARE
 UNDER SEPARATE PERMITS OR SUBMIT ALL REQUESTED
 INFORMATION.
  
 7) SHEET C-1, WHICH IS LISTED IN THE DRAWING INDEX ON
 SP-1, IS MISSING FROM THE PLANS. SUBMIT THE MISSING
 DRAWING OR REVISE THE DRAWING INDEX.
  
 8) IN ORDER TO REDUCE PLAN REVIEW TIMES AND PROVIDE
 CLARIFICATION, PLEASE SUBMIT A RESPONSE LETTER
 INDICATING HOW EACH OF THE REVIEW COMMENTS HAS BEEN
 ADDRESSED.
  
 RESUBMITTAL PROCEDURE
 YOU ARE REQUIRED TO FILL OUT A RESUBMITTAL FORM TO BE
 SUBMITTED WITH THE CORRECTED PLANS.
 THE PERMIT CLERK WILL RETRIEVE THE DENIED APPLICATION,
 PLANS AND OTHER DOCUMENTS FOR YOU.
 YOU ARE REQUIRED TO REMOVE THE OLD PLAN SHEETS THAT
 HAVE BEEN CORRECTED AND REPLACE THEM WITH THE NEW ONES.
 THE CLERK WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH A STAPLE REMOVER AND A
 STAPLER. ONE SET OF THE OLD PLAN SHEETS THAT HAVE BEEN
 REMOVED SHALL BE MARKED AS VOIDED AND RESUBMITTED ALONG
 WITH THE TWO (OR MORE) SETS THAT CONTAIN THE CORRECTED
 SHEETS. IF THERE ARE ANY SHEETS THAT HAVE BEEN STAMPED
 FOR COUNTY IMPACT FEES, HOA APPROVAL STAMPS OR OTHERS,
 RESUBMIT THOSE SHEETS.
 IF ALL OF THE PLAN SHEETS HAVE BEEN CORRECTED, THEN TWO
 (OR MORE) SETS OF THE NEW PLANS SHALL BE SUBMITTED.
