 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 BUILDING
  
 1) THIS STRUCTURE IS LOCATED IN AN A5 FLOOD ZONE WITH A
 BASE FLOOD ELEVATION OF 7 FEET WITH AN ADDITIONAL 6"
 FREEBOARD BY CITY ORDINANCE. THE PRE-FIRM STRUCTURE WAS
 BUILT IN 1965 AND HAS A VALUE OF $376,803.00 EXCLUDING
 THE LAND VALUE PER THE PBC PROPERTY APPRAISER. THE
 VALUATION FOR THE WORK THAT IS PROPOSED UNDER THIS
 PERMIT IS $100,000.00. THERE ARE PREVIOUS REPAIRS AND
 IMPROVEMENTS OF $10,500.00 THAT ARE APPLICABLE. THE
 TOTAL AMOUNT OF REPAIRS AND IMPROVEMENTS IS $110,500.00
 IS LESS THAN $188,401.50, WHICH IS 50% OF THE APPRAISED
 VALUE. THEREFORE, THIS IS NOT A SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT
 AND IS NOT REQUIRED TO BE BROUGHT INTO COMPLIANCE WITH
 THE MINIMUM BASE FLOOD ELEVATION.
  
 2) FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS
 FOR THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9N-3
 THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD. REQUIRED FOR THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
 EACH TYPE OF EXTERIOR DOOR AND WINDOW, AS WELL AS, THE
 CEMENT ROOF TILES.
  
 3) SPECIFY THE ATTACHMENT METHOD THAT WILL BE USED TO
 INSTALL THE ROOF TILES AND PROVIDE THE REQUIRED
 OVERTURN MOMENT RESISTANCE. MARK THE APPROPRIATE METHOD
 ON THE PRODUCT APPROVAL. IF A ROOF TILE ADHESIVE WILL
 BE USED, SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF ITS PRODUCT APPROVALS
 THAT HAVE BEEN APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD. FBC - R 301.2.1
  
 4) SPECIFY THE SLOPE OF THE BALCONY ROOF ON THE PLANS.
 R905.3.2 DECK SLOPE.
 CLAY AND CONCRETE ROOF TILE SHALL BE INSTALLED ON ROOF
 SLOPES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF
 FRSA/TRI 07320 WHERE THE VASD IS DETERMINED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION R301.2.1.3 OR THE
 RECOMMENDATIONS OF RAS 118, 119 OR 120.
  
 5) FBC - R312.3 OPENING LIMITATIONS.
 REQUIRED GUARDS SHALL NOT HAVE OPENINGS FROM THE
 WALKING SURFACE TO THE REQUIRED GUARD HEIGHT WHICH
 ALLOW PASSAGE OF A SPHERE 4 INCHES (102 MM) IN
 DIAMETER. THE NEW BALCONY RAILINGS ARE REQUIRED TO
 COMPLY.
  
 6) FBC - R314.3.1 ALTERATIONS, REPAIRS AND ADDITIONS.
 WHEN ALTERATIONS, REPAIRS OR ADDITIONS REQUIRING A
 PERMIT OCCUR, OR WHEN ONE OR MORE SLEEPING ROOMS ARE
 ADDED OR CREATED IN EXISTING DWELLINGS, THE INDIVIDUAL
 DWELLING UNIT SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH SMOKE ALARMS
 LOCATED AS REQUIRED FOR NEW DWELLINGS.
  
 7) SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF THE MANUFACTURER'S
 SPECIFICATIONS AND INSTALATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE 36"
 WOLF GAS GRILL. FBCR-G2408.1 (305.1) GENERAL.
 EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES SHALL BE INSTALLED AS REQUIRED
 BY THE TERMS OF THEIR APPROVAL, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 CONDITIONS OF LISTING, THE MANUFACTURER?S INSTRUCTIONS
 AND THIS CODE. MANUFACTURERS? INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
 SHALL BE AVAILABLE ON THE JOB SITE AT THE TIME OF
 INSPECTION. WHERE A CODE PROVISION IS LESS RESTRICTIVE
 THAN THE CONDITIONS OF THE LISTING OF THE EQUIPMENT OR
 APPLIANCE OR THE MANUFACTURER?S INSTALLATION
 INSTRUCTIONS, THE CONDITIONS OF THE LISTING AND THE
 MANUFACTURER?S INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS SHALL APPLY.
  
 8) IN ORDER TO REDUCE PLAN REVIEW TIMES AND PROVIDE
 CLARIFICATION, PLEASE SUBMIT A RESPONSE LETTER
 INDICATING HOW EACH OF THE REVIEW COMMENTS HAS BEEN
 ADDRESSED.
