 MARSHAL, WITH THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 SHEET'S LS - 1 AND A - 1, THE FRONT DOOR DIMENSIONS
 COULD NOT BE VERIFIED TO ACCOUNT FOR THE OCCUPANCY EXIT
 LOADS. IT APPEARS THAT 1/2 OF THE OCCUPANY CAN NOT EXIT
 THROUGH THE FRONT DOORS. PLEASE PROVIDE GREATER DETAIL
 OF THE OPENING DIMENSIONS AND CALCULATIONS.
  
 SHEET'S LS - 1 AND A - 1, DOORS 16, 18, AND 16 ARE
 INDICATED AS EXITS. THERE APPEARS TO BE A CHAIN LINK
 FENCE AREA THAT THESE DOORS EXIT DISCHARGE TO. THE EXIT
 DISCHARGE SHALL BE TO A UNOBSTRUCTED PUBLIC WAY.
  
 SHEET A - 5, THE DOOR SCHEDULE IS STAPLED IN SUCH A WAY
 THAT IT IS UNREADABLE AND DOORS CAN NOT BE LOCATED OR
 VERIFIED.
  
 ALL FIRE RATED OPENING PROTECTIONS (FIRE DOORS AND
 HARDWARE) SHALL BE CLEARLY IDENTIFIED AND INDICATED IN
 THE DOOR SCHEDULE. ALL DOORS THAT OPEN ONTO EXIT ACCESS
 CORRIDORS SHALL BE AT LEAST 20 MINUTE FIRE RATED AND BE
 EQUIPPED WITH SELF-CLOSING DEVICES THAT CAUSE THE DOOR
 TO POSITIVELY LATCH WHEN CLOSED. THIS REQUIREMENT SHALL
 BE CLEARLY INDICATED AND ILLUSTRATED ON THE DOOR
 SCHEDULE.
  
 EMERGENCY LIGHTING IS NOT PROVIDED FOR OR INDICATED.
  
 ADDITIONAL EXIT SIGNS SHALL BE PLACED AT THE END OF
 MAIN ISLES AND AT THE OPPOSITE CORNERS OF THE MAIN
 SHOPPING AREA. (NOTE THE LOCATIONS ON SHEET LS - 1)
 ADDITIONAL SIGNS MAY BE ADDED IF OBSTRUCTED BY LINE OF
 SITE ISSUES DURING INSPECTIONS.
  
 THE PROPOSED GENERATOR SHALL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF
 NFPA 110, STANDARD FOR EMERGENCY AND STANDBY POWER
 SYSTEMS. THE GENERATOR SHALL BE PROTECTED FROM DAMAGE
 BY VEHICLE TRAFFIC.
  
 THE LOCATIONS OF THE COMPACTOR AND THE GENERATOR AND
 ANY OTHER STRUCTURE OF OBJECT SHALL NOT ENCROACH ON THE
 REQUIRED 20' FIRE LANE ALONG ALL SIDES OF THE BUILDING.
 THE FIRE LANE SHALL BE INDICATED BY FIRE LANE MARKING
 TO INCLUDE PAINT AND SIGNAGE.
  
 THE ELEVATOR SHALL CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS TO THE
 FIREFIGHTERS EMERGENCY OPERATIONS AND ACCOMODATE THE
 EMS STANDARDS FOR STRETCHER DIMENSIONS.
  
 ALL FIRE DEPARTMENT SPRINKLER SYSTEM CONNECTIONS
 (FDC,S) FOR THE PROJECT SHALL BE IDENTIFIED AND
 COORDINATED WITH THE BUREAU OF FIRE PREVENTION.
  
 ALL FIRE WATER MAINS, SIZES AND THEIR VALVE ASSEMBLIES
 SHALL BE CLEARLY IDENTIFIED AND ILLUSTRATED ON THE
 PLAN.
  
 A KNOX BOX AND KEY SYSTEM IS REQUIRED FOR THIS BUILDING
 FOR ENTRY BY FIRE PERSONNEL IN THE EVENT OF AN
 EMERGENCY AT ANY TIME.
  
 NOTICE IS REQUIRED FOR STRUCTURES WITH LIGHT-FRAME
 TRUSS-TYPE CONSTRUCTION. ANY COMMERCIAL, INDUSTRIAL, OR
 ANY MULTIUNIT RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE OF THREE UNITS OR
 MORE WHICH USES HORIZONTAL OR VERTICAL LIGHT-FRAME
 TRUSS-TYPE CONSTRUCTION IN ANY PORTION SHALL BE MARKED
 WITH AN APPROVED SYMBOL. THE APPROVED SYMBOL SHALL BE
 PLACED WITHIN 24 INCHES TO THE LEFT OF THE MAIN ENTRY
 DOOR.
  
 ALL EXISTING AND NEW FIRE HYDRANTS PLANNED FOR THIS
 DEVELOPMENT SHALL BE CLEARLY INDICATED AND IDENTIFIED
 ON THE PLAN. THE FIRE HYDRANT AND FDC'S FOR THIS
 PROJECT SHALL BE CLOSELY COORDINATED WITH THE BUREAU OF
 FIRE PREVENTION. IT WILL RECOMMEND THAT THE PROPOSED
 NEW HYDRANT LOCATIONS BE MOVED CLOSER TO THE BUILDING
 IN AN AGREEABLE LOCATION.
  
 ALL KITCHEN EQUIPMENT AND OPERATIONS SHALL COMPLY WITH
 NFPA 96, STANDARD FOR VENTILATION CONTROL AND FIRE
 PROTECTION OF COMMERCIAL COOKING OPERATIONS.
 EXTINGUISHMENT AND VENTILATION SYSTEM SHOP DRAWINGS
 SHALL BE SUBMITTED SEPARATELY FOR APPROVAL.
  
 A MONITORED FIRE ALARM SYSTEM IS REQUIRED FOR THIS
 STRUCTURE.
  
 SITE ACCESS AND EXIT POINTS ARE TO BE CLEARLY
 IDENTIFIED AND MAINTAINED FOR EMERGENCY VEHICLES DURING
 ALL CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES.
  
 TRASH AND DEBRIS IS TO BE REMOVED FROM THE SITE DAILY
 OR MORE OFTEN TO REDUCE THE ACCUMULATION OF POTENTIAL
 LIFE AND FIRE SAFETY HAZARDS.
  
 CONSTRUCTION, DEMOLITION, AND RENOVATION TO COMPLY WITH
 NFPA 241. MUTLTIPLE CONSTRUCTION TRAILERS SHALL COMPLY
 WITH THE REQUIRED SEPARATION DISTANCES OR THEY SHALL BE
 SPRINKLERED.
