 1. MOISTURE SURVEY SHOWS UNACCEPTABLE MOISTURE LEVELS
 IN PORTIONS OF THE ROOF DECK. PERMIT APPLICATION STATES
 THIS IS A "REROOF" (REMOVAL OF EXISTING ROOF DOWN TO
 DECK, INSTALL NEW DECK) BUT THE PRODUCT APPROVAL
 SUBMITTED IS FOR A "RECOVER" (INSTALL A NEW ROOF OVER
 THE EXISTING ROOF).
  
 THE MOISTURE SURVEY SHOWS AREAS OF HIGH (UNACCEPTABLE)
 MOISTURE, BUT NO INFORMATION WAS PROVIDED AS TO HOW
 THIS WILL BE RESOLVED. SEE FBC 2010 EXISTING BUILDING
 611.3(1), REMOVAL OF EXISTING ROOF REQUIRED WHRE THE
 EXISTING ROOF OR ROOF COVERING IS WATER SOAKED (SEE
 CODE FOR FULL TEXT OF THIS SECTION),
  
 2. SEE FBC 2010 EXISTING BUILDING 611.1.1, NOT MORE
 THAN 25 PERCENT OF THE TOTAL ROOF AREA OR ROOF SECTION
 OF AN EXISTING BUILDING SHALL BE REPAIRED. ENGINEER IS
 TO DETERMINE THE PERCENTAGE OF EXISTING ROOF OR ROOF
 COVERING IS REQUIRED TO BE REPAIRED PRIOR TO THE
 PROPOSED RECOVER.
  
 3. THIS ADDRESS HAS AN EXPIRED PERMIT, 08080132. IF IT
 IS DETERMINED THAT A REROOF IS REQUIRED RATHER THAN A
 ROOF RECOVER, A MECHANICAL PERMIT WILL BE REQUIRED AS
 WELL AS A DETAIL AS TO HOW THE MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT
 WILL BE INSTALLED, FBC 107, FBC 1509.7.
  
 TWO OF THE FOUR MECHANICAL UNITS ARE LOCATED IN AREAS
 OF UNACCEPTABLE MOISTURE. IF IT IS DETERMINED THAT
 THESE AREAS CAN BE REPAIRED, REINSTALLATION OF THE
 MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT MAY BE REQUIRED. IF THIS IS THE
 CASE, A MECHANICAL SUB PERMIT WILL BE REQUIRED AS WELL
 AS A DETAIL FOR INSTALLATION, FBC 1609, FBC 1509.7.
