 CODE: 2010 FBC.
  
 1- AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED, BRING THEM TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD) TO VERIFY IF IMPACT FEES ARE
 DUE. BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF PAID
 RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE. REQUIRED BY THE COUNTY IMPACT
 FEE ORDINANCE OF THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE.
  
 2- A) NO OPENINGS ARE ALLOWED WHEN THE WALL IS LESS
 THAN 3' FROM THE PROPERTY LINE. TABLE R302.1 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. REVISE PLANS.
  
 B) EXTERIOR WALL TO BE 1 HOUR FIRE RATED (TESTED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 119 OR UL 263 WITH EXPOSURE FROM
 BOTH SIDES. TABLE R302.1. PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR SUCH 1 HR FIRE RATED WALL.
  
 3- PROVIDE COMPLETE FRAMING DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS
 FOR ALL DOORS AND WINDOWS AS SHOWN ON PLANS. SPECIFY
 ALL HEADERS. PROVIDE FRAMING DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS
 FOR ARCHED OPENINGS AS SHOWN ON PLANS. SEC. R301.1 OF
 2010 FBC- RESIDENTIAL.
  
 4- WALL SECTIONS TO SPECIFY FINISH GRADE TO SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. R404.1.6 AND SEC. R704 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 5- SPECIFY ROOF VENTILATION AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R806 OF
 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. CLEARLY SPECIFY IF DESIGNING
 VENTED OR UNVENTED ATTIC AND SHOW COMPLIANCE IN
 DRAWINGS.
  
 6- REVISE SPECIFICATIONS IN ALL WALL SECTIONS. MINIMUM
 STUCCO THICKNESS IS 7/8". TABLE R702.1(1) OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 7- PROVIDE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE ROOF SHEATHING
 FASTENING AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R803.2.3.1 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. SPECIFY THE RING -SHANK NAIL TYPE AND
 SPACING FOR ALL ROOF ZONES.
  
 8- SPECIFY CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS IN PLANS AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. R315 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 9- ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED: (NEED AN ACCURATELY
 COMPLETED FORM. SEC. 103.2.1.1.1 OF 2010 FBC-ENERGY
 CONSERVATION).
 A) FORM 402-2010 CAN NOT BE USED. SEE FORM 402-2010
 GENERAL INSTRUCTION #1. EXCEEDS THE 20% GLASS AREA.
 B) SEE GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS #2 AND #3: ALL THE
 INFORMATION ON PAGE 1 IS BASED ON THE INFORMATION ON
 TABLE 402A AND VALUES MUST BE EQUAL TO OR MORE
 EFFICIENT THAN THE REQUIRED LEVELS.
 C) COMPLETE ALL THE INFORMATION ON TOP OF FORM.
 INCLUDING BUILDER, PERMITTING OFFICE AND JURISDICTION
 #.
 D) OWNER/AGENT TO SIGN AND DATE FORM. SEC. 103.2.3.2 OF
 2010 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 NOTE: THIS IS A CONTRIBUTING HISTORIC HOUSE. IT'S
 EXEMPT FROM THE ENERGY CODE. ENERGY CALCULATIONS ARE
 NOT REQUIRED.
  
 10- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR:
 A) WINDOW MULLIONS. NOA 10-1115.03 SUBMITTED WITH
 FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL FL15587-R1 EXPIRED ON AUGUST
 19, 2014. NEED TO PROVIDE CURRENT NOA.
  
 B) ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED BY THE
 ENGINEER IN ALL PLANS AND SECTIONS. ***NOTE: PROVIDE
 ONLY THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER PAGE AND PAGE
 SHOWING THE CONNECTOR. OR PROVIDE THE FLORIDA PRODUCT
 APPROVAL NEXT TO THE SPECIFIED CONNECTOR.
  
 11- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS,
 INCLUDING THE DOORS, WINDOWS, ETC. AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 107.3.4.1 OF CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 *** PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH
 COMMENT TO EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
