 SPECIAL PHASED PERMIT APPROVAL
  
 AFTER SUBMITTAL OF THE APPROPRIATE CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS, THE BUILDING OFFICIAL IS AUTHORIZED TO ISSUE
 A PERMIT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF FOUNDATIONS OR ANY
 OTHER PART OF A BUILDING OR STRUCTURE BEFORE THE
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS FOR THE WHOLE BUILDING OR
 STRUCTURE HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED. THE HOLDER OF SUCH
 PERMIT FOR THE FOUNDATION OR OTHER PARTS OF A BUILDING
 OR STRUCTURE SHALL PROCEED AT THE HOLDER'S OWN RISK
 WITH THE BUILDING OPERATION AND WITHOUT ASSURANCE THAT
 A
 PERMIT FOR THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE WILL BE GRANTED.
 CORRECTIONS MAY BE REQUIRED TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF
 THE TECHNICAL CODES. THIS PROVISION IS ONLY FOR THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, ALL OTHER AGENCY APPROVALS
 NECESSARY FOR CONSTRUCTION MUST BE SECURED PRIOR TO
 THIS PROVISION BEING APPLIED.
  
 I SPOKE WITH THE CONTRACTOR FRI. AUG 29/14 WILL NEED
 CALCULATIONS & PRODUCT DATA SHEETS FOR THE OIL
 SEPARATOR. WILL NEED TO INSTALL OIL SEPARAQTOR BEFORE
 THE START OF FOUNDATIONS IN THIS AREA.COMPLY WITH: 2010
 FBC-B 1804.1 EXCAVATION NEAR FOUNDATIONS.
 EXCAVATION FOR ANY PURPOSE SHALL NOT REMOVE LATERAL
 SUPPORT FROM ANY FOUNDATION WITHOUT FIRST UNDERPINNING
 OR PROTECTING THE FOUNDATION AGAINST SETTLEMENT OR
 LATERAL TRANSLATION.
  
 1804.2 PLACEMENT OF BACKFILL.
 THE EXCAVATION OUTSIDE THE FOUNDATION SHALL BE
 BACKFILLED WITH SOIL THAT IS FREE OF ORGANIC MATERIAL,
 CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS, COBBLES AND BOULDERS OR WITH A
 CONTROLLED LOW-STRENGTH MATERIAL (CLSM). THE BACKFILL
 SHALL BE PLACED IN LIFTS AND COMPACTED IN A MANNER THAT
 DOES NOT DAMAGE THE FOUNDATION OR THE WATERPROOFING OR
 DAMPPROOFING MATERIAL.
