 1- REVISE ENERGY CALCULATIONS. SEC. 103.2.1.1.2 OF 2010
 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION:
 A) PLANS SUBMITTED SHOW GAS WATER HEATER NOT ELECTRIC.
 REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 B) THERE IS A CONFLICT ON INFORMATION GIVEN ON ITEM #8,
 ITEM #10 AND CEILING INFORMATION GIVEN ON SHEET 3 OF 5.
 NOTE: RAISED FLOOR IS NOT THE SAME AS UNDER ATTIC.
 CHECK R-INSULATION VALUE GIVEN FOR EACH AREA AND CHECK
 SQUARE FOOTAGE THAT PERTAINS TO EACH AREA AND REVISE AS
 REQUIRED.
  
 C) REVISE THE WINDOWS OVERHANG SEPARATION ON SHEET 3 OF
 5. SEE PLANS AND REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 D) COMPLETE ALL THE INFORMATION ON TOP OF FORM,
 INCLUDING OWNER'S NAME, BUILDER'S NAME AND
 JURISDICTION.
  
 E) OWNER/AGENT TO CERTIFY AND DATE BOTTOM OF FORM. SEC.
 103.2.3.2 OF 2010 FBC-ENERGY CONSERV ATION.
  
 2- SHEET #1:
 A) ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVISE TYPE OF ALTERATION.
 ACCORDING TO SCOPE OF WORK SHOWN ON PLANS THIS IS
 ALTERATION LEVEL 3, NOT LEVEL 2. SEC. 405.1 OF 2010
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
  
 B) ENGINEER TO CLARIFY WHY THE DESIGN CRITERIA
 SPECIFIES "PART. OPEN STRUCTURE". SEC. 107.2.1.3 OF
 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 C) ENGINEER TO CLARIFY IF THE WIND SPEED SPECIFIED IN
 THE DESIGN CRITERIA IS THE ULTIMATE OR NOMINAL WIND
 SPEED. SEC. R301.2.1.3 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 3- SHEET #5:
 A) NEW STAIR DETAIL. PROVIDE COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS
 SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE RISER AND TREAD DIMENSIONS.
 SEC. R311.7.4 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 B) PROVIDE COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONNECTIONS
 AT THE ENDS OF EACH NEW 3-2X10 BEAMS SHOWN ON PLANS AND
 NEW 3-2X4 STUDS. SEC. R301 OF 2010 FBC.
  
 4- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVALS (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR:
 A) SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS.
  
 B) ENTRY DOOR.
  
 C) UTILITY ROOM EXTERIOR DOORS.
  
 D) SLIDING GLASS DOORS
  
 E) HURRICANE SHUTTERS IF WINDOWS AND DOORS WITH GLAZING
 DON'T HAVE IMPACT GLASS. ***NOTE: PROVIDE ALSO A
 COMPLETE SHUTTERS INSTALLATION SCHEDULE. SEE CITY
 SAMPLE.
  
 F) ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED ON PLANS
 AND DETAILS. ***NOTE: THERE ARE SOME CONNECTORS SHOWING
 THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL # NEXT TO THE SPECIFIED
 CONNECTOR. THIS MAY BE DONE ALSO TO THE OTHER
 CONNECTORS THAT ARE MISSING THE FLORIDA PRODUCT
 APPROVAL NUMBER. OTHERWISE, PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL
 COVER PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING THE CONNECTOR.
  
 5- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS. SEC.
 107.3.4.1 OF CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 6- SPECIFY ON PLANS "TYPE" AND "SIZE" OF EXISTING
 BEDROOM WINDOWS TO BE REPLACED TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE
 WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. 604 OF 2010
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
  
 7- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO COORDINATE INFORMATION ON
 PLANS WITH THE INFORMATION SHOWN ON THE REVISED ENERGY
 CALCULATIONS (SEE ITEM #1 ABOVE). FOR EXAMPLE,
 COORDINATE CEILING, WALLS, CRAWL SPACE, RAISED FLOOR
 R-VALUE INSULATION, ETC. SEC. 103.2.2 OF 2010
 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 8- ENGINEER TO CLEARLY LABEL ALL FLOOR PLANS AND
 ELEVATIONS. CLEARLY IDENTIFY WHAT'S EXISTING AND WHAT'S
 PROPOSED. FOR EXAMPLE ON SHEET #4 FLOOR PLANS ARE NOT
 CLEAR. FLOOR PLANS ARE LABELED AS EXIST. FIRST AND
 EXIST. SECOND FLOOR PLAN. BUT, THEY ARE SHOWING THE
 PROPOSED WORK ALSO. THERE IS NOT A WALL LEGEND THAT
 IDENTIFIES, EXISTING WALLS AND PROPOSED WALLS. REVISE
 AS REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 ***NOTES:
 * PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH
 COMMENT TO EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
 ** PLEASE REPLACE ANY REVISED DRAWINGS.
