 1) SHEET CS-2 INDICATES UNDER THE CODE ANALYSIS
 EXISTING BUILDING. NOTE THIS IS A SHELL BUILDING, NO
 FIRST TENANCY, THE 2010 FBC-BUILDING WILL BE USED FOR
 NEW BUILDINGS SINCE THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A C. O.
 ISSUED.
  
 2) SHEET CS-2 INDICATES A MEZZANINE AREA D-3 TO BE USED
 SOLEY FOR REFRIGARANT / WATER HEATING, NO STORAGE. THE
 UPPER HALF OF THE STAIRWAY IS ENCLOSED WITH A DOOR. THE
 2010 FBC-B 505.4 DOES ALLOW FOR ENCLOSED MEZZANINES
 WITH AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF LESS THAN 10 WHICH THIS DOES.
 THE ENCLOSING THE UPPER HALF OF THE STAIR DOES NOT GIVE
 A WORK MAN IN THIS SPACE ANY NOTIFICATION OF A FIRE AND
 SMOKE AND THE AMOUNT OF NOISE THE REFRIGARATION
 EQUIPMENT. FOR THIS REASON WE WOULD LIKE TO SUGGEST A
 STROBE THAT WOULD TIE INTO THE ALARM SYSTEM TO ALERT
 ANY WORKMAN IN THIS LIMITED SPACE TO EVACUATE. THIS
 SPACE NOW DOES NOT COMMUNICATE WITH THE REMAINDER OF
 THE 1 ST FLOOR. THERE IS NO ACTUAL CODE SECTION TO
 ADDRESS OUR CONCERNS, THIS CAN ONLY BE A SUGGESTION.
  
 3) SHEET A2.07 IDENTIFIES THE DOORS WITHIN TTHE
 TENANCY. DOORS 100,& 101 ARE IDENTIFIED AS EXISTING THE
 DOOR SCHEDULE FOUND ON A702
 THE NOTES DO NOT PROVIDE THE TYPE OF HARDWARE, NOTES
 INDICATE CYLINDER LOCK TO BE INSTALLED. PLEASE SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH 2010 FBC-B
 008.1.9.3 LOCKS AND LATCHES. 2.2. A READILY VISIBLE
 DURABLE SIGN IS POSTED ON THE EGRESS SIDE ON OR
 ADJACENT TO THE DOOR STATING: THIS DOOR TO REMAIN
 UNLOCKED WHEN BUILDING IS OCCUPIED. THE SIGN SHALL BE
 IN LETTERS 1 INCH (25 MM) HIGH ON A CONTRASTING
 BACKGROUND.
  
 4) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS NECESSARY. A
 TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT
 NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE,
 IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE
 CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT.
