 PLEASE PROVIDE A WRITTEN RESPONSE TO THE FOLLOWING PLAN
 REVIEW COMMENTS:
  
 1. THE PLANS FOR THE PROPOSED DOCK SHOW THE EXISTING
 10X22 DOCK TO REMAIN. AS DRAWN, THIS DOES NOT MATCH
 WHAT HAS BEEN SHOWN ON THE SURVEY (DATED JULY 1, 2013).
 ADDITIONALLY, THE SURVEY DOES NOT SHOW AN EXISTING DOCK
 EXTENDING EAST ALONG THE SEAWALL, AS OUTLINED IN THE
 PROPOSED PLANS. PLEASE CLARIFY. PROOF WILL NEED TO BE
 PROVIDED SHOWING THAT THE DOCK EXTENDING EAST WAS
 LEGALLY PERMITTED AND BUILT WITH ALL APPLICABLE
 APPROVALS. IF IT WAS LEGALLY PERMITTED, SECTION 94-513
 OF THE CITY?S ZONING AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS
 STATE THAT THE NONCONFORMITY CAN BE ALTERED OR
 REPAIRED, PROVIDED THAT IT REDUCES THE IMPACT OF THE
 NONCONFORMITY ON THE ADJACENT PROPERTY. THE PROPOSED
 DOCK DOES NOT CONFORM TO THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS
 FOUND IN SECTION 94-314 OF THE CITY?S ZONING AND LAND
 DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS:
  
 A. MARINE GRASSES, ETHNIC COMMUNITIES, AQUATIC
 PRESERVES, MANATEE SANCTUARIES, AND IMPORTANT ESTUARINE
 OR ECOLOGICAL FEATURES SHALL NOT BE AFFECTED
 SIGNIFICANTLY BY THE PROPOSED DOCK CONSTRUCTION. DOCKS
 SHALL NOT CONSTRICT WATER CIRCULATION IN LAKE WORTH.
 PLEASE PROVIDE A SEAGRASS SURVEY SHOWING NOW IMPACT.
  
 B. ALL MOORING SLIPS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH APPROPRIATE
 CONNECTIONS FOR POTABLE WATER AND ELECTRICAL SERVICE.
 PLEASE CLARIFY AS TO WHETHER OR NOT EXISTING WATER AND
 ELECTRIC SERVICE ARE PROVIDED. IF NOT, SUCH PROVISIONS
 SHALL BE MADE.
  
 C. DOCKS, "TEES," DOLPHINS, PILINGS, BOATLIFTS, AND
 OTHER MOORING-RELATED FACILITIES SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED
 WITHIN THE MIDDLE ONE-THIRD OF THE LOT ON WHICH A DOCK
 IS CONSTRUCTED, AS EXTENDED INTO THE WATERWAY. NO
 WATERCRAFT SHALL BE DOCKED OR ANCHORED IN A POSITION,
 OR BE OF SUCH LENGTH, THAT CAUSES IT TO EXTEND BEYOND
 THE SIDE SETBACK LINES REQUIRED FOR PRINCIPAL
 STRUCTURES ON SUCH PROPERTY, AS EXTENDED INTO THE
 WATERWAY.
  
 D. AT LEAST ONE LADDER SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR EACH DOCK,
 EXTENDING FROM THE DOCK SURFACE TO TWO FEET BELOW THE
 MEAN LOW WATERLINE.
  
 E. ALL DOCKS SHALL HAVE WATER-RESISTANT REFLECTIVE
 NUMERALS CORRESPONDING TO THE STREET ADDRESS OF THE
 UPLAND PROPERTY AND SHALL BE VISIBLE FROM THE WATERWAY.
  
 F. ARTIFICIAL LIGHTING MAY BE INSTALLED ON A DOCK FOR
 SECURITY OR SAFETY BUT SHALL NOT LIGHT SURROUNDING
 PROPERTIES. BLINKING OR INTERMITTENT LIGHTS ARE
 PROHIBITED. PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AS TO
 THE ?EXISTING TIER LIGHT? LABELED ON THE SFWMD PERMIT
 FROM 1997. DO THESE EXIST TODAY?
  
 2. THE PERMIT PROVIDED FROM THE SOUTH FLORIDA WATER
 MANAGEMENT DISTRICT WAS DATED JUNE 12, 1997, AND
 EXPIRED ON JUNE 30, 1999. AN UPDATED SFWMD PERMIT SHALL
 BE PROVIDED FOR THE PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK.
