 PLEASE PROVIDE WRITTEN RESPONSES TO THE COMMENTS.
  
 1) THE FOLLOWING ITEMS REQUIRED BY RESOLUTION NO.
 329-13 HAVE NOT BEEN MET.
  
 A. PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF THE SPECIFIC BUILDING
 PERMIT FOR STRUCTURES OR SYSTEMS THAT CROSS THE SHARED
 PROPERTY LINE WITH THE PALM BEACH COUNTY CONVENTION
 CENTER PARCEL, TO INCLUDE WALKWAY CONNECTIONS, THE
 POOL, POOL DECK, POOL EQUIPMENT, IRRIGATION LINES,
 ETC., THE APPLICANT SHALL RECORD IN THE PUBLIC RECORD A
 UNITY OF TITLE, UNITY OF CONTROL, A RESTRICTIVE
 COVENANT, IN LIEU OF UNITY OF TITLE, OR OTHER
 APPROPRIATE INSTRUMENT, AS APPROVED BY THE OFFICE OF
 THE CITY ATTORNEY, TO ADDRESS THE HOTEL STRUCTURES OR
 SYSTEMS THAT ARE ON THE CONVENTION CENTER PARCEL OR
 WHICH CROSS THE SHARED PROPERTY LINE.
  
 B. PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF THE FIRST BUILDING PERMIT
 FOR VERTICAL CONSTRUCTION, THE APPLICANT SHALL:
  
 I. SUBMIT A MINOR AMENDMENT SHOWING THE LOCATIONS OF
 THE STREET LIGHTS AND THE PEDESTRIAN SCALE LIGHTING.
 THE MINOR AMENDMENT SHALL SHOW THAT THE STREET LIGHTS
 MEET THE DOWNTOWN MASTER PLAN SPECIFICATIONS AND SHALL
 SPECIFY AND PROVIDE DETAILS OF THE LIGHTING FIXTURES
 USED FOR THE PEDESTRIAN SCALE LIGHTING. NO LIGHTING
 SHALL CONFLICT WITH PROPOSED LANDSCAPE.
  
 II. RECORD EASEMENTS IN FAVOR OF THE CITY FOR ANY
 PUBLIC SIDEWALKS OR UTILITIES ON THE HOTEL.
  
 III. SECURE A RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT FROM THE CITY FOR THE
 RECONFIGURATION OF THE MEDIANS AND INSTALLATION OF
 LANDSCAPE MATERIAL WITHIN THE FLORIDA AVENUE
 RIGHT-OF-WAY. AS PART OF THE RECONFIGURATION OF THE
 MEDIANS, THE APPLICANT SHALL INSTALL APPROPRIATE
 SIGNAGE TO WARN MOTORISTS OF THE MID-BLOCK PEDESTRIAN
 CROSSING ON FLORIDA AVENUE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 LATEST VERSION OF THE MANUAL ON UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL
 DEVICES (MUTCD).
  
 IV. THE LANDSCAPE PLANS SHALL BE SUBMITTED AS A
 LANDSCAPE PERMIT AND INCLUDE THE NOTATION AND DETAILS
 THAT ROOT BARRIERS AND STRUCTURAL SOILS SHALL BE USED
 FOR ALL THE OAK TREE PLANTINGS IN SIDEWALK CUTOUTS OR
 WITHIN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO SIDEWALKS TO ENSURE PROPER
 ROOT GROWTH WHILE LIMITING THE POTENTIAL FOR ROOT
 DAMAGE.
  
 2) THE SITE LAYOUT, INCLUDING THE ELEVATIONS, HAS
 CHANGED. SUBMIT A MINOR PLANNED DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT
 TO THE PLANNING DIVISION FOR REVIEW WHICH SHOWS THE
 PROPOSED CHANGES.
  
 3) SEPARATE PERMITS, WITH PLANS, ARE REQUIRED FOR THE
 FOLLOWING ITEMS. THE VALUE OF THE WORK SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED WITH EACH PERMIT AND NOT THE MAIN PERMIT.
 FULL ZONING REVIEW WILL OCCUR UPON SUBMITTAL OF THE
 SEPARATE PERMITS PLANS.
  
 A. SITE FURNITURE THAT WILL BE PERMANENTLY AFFIXED TO
 THE GROUND (EX. TRASH CANS, BENCHES, FIRE PIT, ETC.)
 STAFF HAS REVIEWED THE LOCATIONS OF THE SITE FURNITURE
 AND THEY COMPLY WITH THE APPROVED SITE PLAN.
 B. SITE LIGHTING - SEE COMMENT 1)B.I FOR ADDITIONAL
 APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS.
 C. BICYCLE RACKS
 D. LANDSCAPE - LANDSCAPE IN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY REQUIRES A
 RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT.
 E. ENTRY DRIVE - A RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR
 THE CONNECTION TO FLORIDA AVENUE.
 F. CIVIL PLANS AND RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT (THROUGH
 ENGINEERING SERVICES)
 G. SIGNS - SEE COMMENT 10 FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
 H. POOL, SPA AND POOL DECK - SEE COMMENT 1
 I. FENCES/GATES - SEE COMMENT 1 - THE OVERALL HEIGHT OF
 THE FENCE/RETAINING WALL/COLUMNS MAY NOT EXCEED SIX (6)
 FEET IN HEIGHT WHEN MEASURED ON THE EXTERIOR SIDE
 (CONVENTION CENTER SIDE) FROM GRADE. DIMENSIONS WERE
 NOT PROVIDED. SHEET LS505 AND LS506. (LS101H)
 J. CABANAS - SEE COMMENT 1
 K. SUN SHADE
 L. FOUNTAIN WALL - SEE COMMENT 1
 M. SIDEWALKS, COVERED WALKWAY AND OTHER ITEMS WHOLLY ON
 THE CONVENTION CENTER PARCEL.
  
 4) THE ELEVATION DRAWINGS TO NOT SHOW THE FULL
 CONVENTION CENTER CONNECTOR (APPEARS THAT PLAN LAYERS
 WHERE NOT TURNED ON).
  
 5) THE SOUTH FACADE FOR FLOORS 3-10, AT THE END OF THE
 CORRIDOR, MAY NOT BE A BLANK FACADE. THE CITY
 COMMISSION APPROVED PLANS SHOW WINDOWS AND A WALL THAT
 IS NOT FLAT AT THIS LOCATION.
  
 6) THERE IS SOME EQUIPMENT SHOWN PROJECTING ABOVE THE
 ROOF PARAPET ON THE ELEVATIONS. PER THE CITYPLACE DRI,
 ALL ROOFTOP MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT SHALL BE SCREENED.
  
 7) THE DETAIL TAG FOR THE POOL GATE D1 LS509 (NORTHERN
 GATE) LEADS TO THE DETAIL ON SHEET LS509 WHICH DOES NOT
 MATCH THE GATE IN PLAN VIEW ON SHEET LS103.
  
 8) ADD THE NOTE TO THE EAST ELEVATION REFERENCING THAT
 THERE WILL BE ART LOCATED IN THE NICHES, PER THE PLANS
 APPROVED BY RESOLUTION NO. 329-13.
  
 9) LIGHTING SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR THE ART NICHES.
  
 10) CHANGE ALL REFERENCE TO THE CORNER SIGN (RELOCATED
 MONUMENT SIGN) TO STATE THE APPROVED SIZE FROM
 RESOLUTION NO. 329-11, AS STATED BELOW:
  
 A. THE CORNER SIGN SHALL CONTAIN A MAXIMUM TOTAL OF 240
 SQUARE FEET IN AREA (120 SQUARE FEET MAXIMUM PER FACE).
  
 B. THE CORNER SIGN SHALL BE NO GREATER THAN TWELVE (12)
 FEET IN HEIGHT AND TEN (10) FEET IN WIDTH.
  
 11) ADDITIONAL COMMENTS MAY BE GENERATED BASED ON THE
 RESUBMITTAL AND THE FULL ZONING REVIEW OF THE PLANS
 SUBMITTED WITH THE SEPARATE PERMITS.
