 SHEET A2.02: FITNESS (#104) IS USING AN OCCUPANT LOAD
 FACTOR OF 100 SQUARE FEET PER PERSON. EXERCISE ROOMS
 WITH EQUIPMENT OR WITHOUT EQUIPMENT SHALL USE AN
 OCCUPANT LOAD FACTOR OF 15 SQUARE FEET PERSON OR 50
 SQUARE FEET PERSON RESPECTIVELY PER TABLE 7.3.1.2.
 PROVIDE AN EQUIPMENT LAYOUT.
  
 SHEET A2.02: A DELUGE SPRINKLER SYSTEM IS INDICATED TO
 PROTECT THE CONNECTOR AND ACHIEVE AN EQUIVALENT 2-HOUR
 FIRE RATED ENCLOSURE. TO MY KNOWLEDGE, THERE IS NOT A
 LISTED DELUGE SYSTEM CAPABLE OF ACHIEVING THIS FIRE
 RESISTANCE RATING. A MORE APPROPRIATE DESIGN MAY
 INCLUDE THE USE OF THE TYCO WIINDOW SPRINKLERS. IF THE
 DESIGN INTENT IS TO USE TYCO WINDOW SPRINKLERS TO
 ACHIEVE UP TO A TWO-HOUR FIRE RATED SEPARATION, THE
 SPRINKLERS MUST BE INSTALLED ACCORDING TO THE UL
 LISTING DATA AND SHALL WET THE ENTIRE GLAZING SURFACE.
 SPRINKLERS CANNOT BE USED TO PROTECT OPERABLE DOORS OR
 WINDOWS. THE WINDOW SPRINKLERS DO NOT ALLOW HORIZONTAL
 WINDOW MULLIONS AND REQUIRE THE GLASS CURTAIN WALL TO
 BE ATTACHED TO A THREE FOOT HIGH PONY WALL TO KEEP
 COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS AT LEAST TWO INCHES AWAY FROM THE
 GLAZING. PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THE GLAZING ASSEMBLY
 AS THE SPRINKLER POSITIONING VARIES FOR BUTT-GLAZED
 INSTALLATIONS COMPARED TO VERTICAL MULLION
 INSTALLATIONS. VERTICAL MULLIONS SHALL BE OF A DEPTH
 THAT PREVENTS COLD SOLDERING OF ADJACENT SPRINKLERS.
 THE SPRINKLER DESIGN SHOULD INDICATE WHICH WINDOW
 SPRINKLER MODEL WILL BE USED (HORIZONTAL SIDEWALL OR
 PENDENT VERTICAL SIDEWALL).
  
 SHEET A2.03: THE TWO STORY OPENING (PRE-FUNCTION #221)
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 8.6 FOR
 VERTICAL OPENINGS AS EITHER A "COMMUNICATING SPACE",
 "ATRIUM" OR " CONVENIENCE OPENING." FOR EXAMPLE, A
 COMMUNICATING SPACE REQUIRES THE ENTIRE FLOOR AREA TO
 BE OPEN AND UNOBSTRUCTED SUCH THAT A FIRE IN ANY PART
 OF THE SPACE WILL BE READILY OBVIOUS TO THE OCCUPANTS
 OF THE SPACE PRIOR TO THE TIME A FIRE BECOMES A HAZARD.
 ANOTHER EXAMPLE, A CONVENIENCE OPENING REQUIRES THAT
 THE FLOOR OPENING BE SEPARATED FROM EXIT ACCESS
 CORRIDORS.
  
 SHEET A2.03: THE PLAN SHOWS THE 1-HOUR FIRE RATING
 CROSSING THE CORRIDOR AT DOOR #221A; HOWEVER, THERE IS
 NO 1-HOUR FIRE RATING INDICATED FOR THE WALL CROSSING
 THE CORRIDOR AT DOOR #221B. ALSO THE DOOR SCHEDULE
 (SHEET A14.01) DOES NOT INDICATE A FIRE RATING FOR
 EITHER SET OF DOORS.

 NEEDS TO BE COORDINATED WITH THE ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS
 REGARDING THE PLACEMENT OF EXIT SIGNAGE. FOR EXAMPLE,
 SHEET E1-09 SHOWS EXIT SIGNS AT DOORS #100E AND #106B
 LEADING TO THE BAR TERRACE. HOW ARE OCCUPANTS BEING
 DIRECTED TO THE PUBLIC WAY ONCE THEY ENTER THE BAR
 TERRACE AREA? DOOR #100E IS NOT EQUIPPED WITH PANIC
 HARDWARE. ADDITIONALLY AN EXIT SIGN HAS BEEN PLACED AT
 DOOR #105A LEADING BAR OCCUPANTS THROUGH THE KITCHEN
 AREA TO REACH AN EXIT.
  
 SHEET A4.06 (STAIR #3/BOILER ROOM #229/ELECTRICAL
 #224): PER SECTION 28.3.2.1 ALL ROOMS CONTAINING
 HIGH-PRESSURE BOILERS, TRANSFORMERS OR OTHER SERVICE
 EQUIPMENT SUBJECT TO POSSIBLE EXPLOSION SHALL NOT BE
 LOCATED DIRECTLY ADJACENT TO EXITS.
  
 SHEET A4.07: LEVEL 200 HAS ASSEMBLY USE ROOMS WITH
