 CONSTRUCTED IN 1926 AS A GARAGE/APARTMENT. THESE PLANS
 HAVE NOT BEEN REVIEWED BY ZONING AT THE TIME OF THIS
 REVIEW. IT APPEARS THAT THE GARAGE PORTION OF THIS
 BUILDING MAY HAVE BEEN ILLEGALLY CONVERTED TO LIVING
 SPACE WITHOUT THE PROPER PERMITS OR INSPECTIONS. NOTE:
 ZONING MAY NOT ALLOW THIS STRUCTURE TO HAVE A KITCHEN
 OR BE USED AS A RENTAL UNIT. SEE ZONING REVIEW
 COMMENTS.

 1) THE OWNER/AGENT IS REQUIRED TO SIGN THE ENERGY
 CALCULATIONS.
  
 2) THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS SPECIFY THAT THE ENTIRE 669
 SQFT STRUCTURE IS A CRAWL SPACE WITH R-19 INSULATION.
 ONE OF THE WALL SECTIONS ON SHEET 2 SHOWS A CRAWL SPACE
 AND THE OTHER SHOWS A SLAB. PLEASE CLARIFY.
  
 3) SPECIFY THE LOCATION OF THE GAS WATER HEATER ON THE
 PLANS.
  
 4) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC R314 AND R315 FOR SMOKE AND
 CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS.
  
 5) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC R310 FOR EMERGENCY ESCAPE
 AND RESCUE OPENINGS AT SLEEPING ROOMS.
  
 6) THE NEW WINDOWS ARE TAGGED "A" ON THE THE ELEVATIONS
 ON SHEET 1 AND "B" ON THE FLOOR PLANS ON SHEETS 2 AND
 3. PLEASE CLARIFY.
  
 7) THE WINDOW SCHEDULE ON SHEET 1, SPECIFIES 37" X 37"
 WINDOWS FOR "A". THE ELEVATIONS APPEAR TO SHOW LARGER
 HEIGHT WINDOWS. PLEASE CLARIFY.
  
 8) THE WORK IS SPECIFIED AS A LEVEL 2 ALTERATION ON THE
 PLANS. SINCE THE WORK AREA EXCEEDS 50 PERCENT OF THE
 AREA OF THE BUILDING IT SHOULD BE CLASSIFIED AS A LEVEL
 3 ALTERATION AND A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY ( CONVERTING THE
 GARAGE TO LIVING AREA ). FBC EXISTING BUILDING SECTIONS

 9) THE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE NEW WINDOWS ARE NOT
 RATED FOR LARGE MISSILE IMPACT WHICH IS REQUIRED BY FBC
 R301.2.1.2. SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY DCA RULE 9N-3 THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND
 APPROVED BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD.
  
 10) SUBMIT TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE TRUSS
 ANCHORS AND STRAPS SPECIFIED ON THE PLANS. DCA RULE
 9N-3
  
 11) THE CITY DOES NOT HAVE A PERMIT RECORD THAT SHOWS
 THAT THE DOORS AND WINDOWS IN THIS BUILDING WERE
 REPLACED. IF THE DOORS AND WINDOWS THAT ARE SPECIFIED
 AS EXISTING WERE INSTALLED RECENTLY WITHOUT PERMITS OR
 INSPECTIONS, SUBMIT TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR
 THEM AND THE REQUIRED IMPACT PROTECTION DEVICES. DCA
