 1) THE PLANS ARE LACKING:
 2010 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION, 2010
 107.3.5 MINIMUM PLAN REVIEW CRITERIA FOR BUILDINGS. THE
 EXAMINATION OF THE DOCUMENTS BY THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM
 CRITERIA AND DOCUMENTS:
 107.3.5.1 COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS:
 107.3.5.1.1 BUILDING
 MINIMUM TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE DETERMINED (SEE
 TABLE 503).
 THIS REQUIREMENT IS FOR THE NEW ELEVATED PEDESTRIAN
 WALKWAY AND ELEVATOR AS WELL AS FOR THE CONNECTING
 BUILDINGS ON EACH END OF THE NEW STRUCTURE.
  
 3104.3 CONSTRUCTION.
 THE PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY SHALL BE OF NONCOMBUSTIBLE
 CONSTRUCTION.
 EXCEPTIONS:
 1. COMBUSTIBLE CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE PERMITTED WHERE
 CONNECTED BUILDINGS ARE OF COMBUSTIBLE CONSTRUCTION.
  
 2. FIRE-RETARDANT-TREATED WOOD, IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 SECTION 603.1, ITEM 25.3, SHALL BE PERMITTED FOR THE
 ROOF CONSTRUCTION OF THE PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY WHERE
 CONNECTED BUILDINGS ARE A MINIMUM OF TYPE I OR II
 CONSTRUCTION.
  
 THE S-3 SHEET INDICATES THE USE OF 5/8 INCH CDX PLYOOD
 DEPENDING ON THE DECLARED TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION FOR THE
 EXISTING BUILDINGS THIS MAY OR MAY NOT NEED TO BE
 FIRE-RETARDANT-TREATED WOOD.
  
 2) THE SUBMITTED PLANS DOES NOT INCLUDE A SOIS REPORT
 THAT WILL PROVIDE WHAT THE MINIMUM BEARING VALUE OF THE
 SOILS IS, AND OR HOW TO IMPROVE THE BEARING VALUE. 2010
 FBC-B 1803.2 INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED.
 GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATIONS SHALL BE CONDUCTED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTIONS 1803.3 THROUGH 1803.5.
 1803.3 BASIS OF INVESTIGATION.
 SOIL CLASSIFICATION SHALL BE BASED ON OBSERVATION AND
 ANY NECESSARY TESTS OF THE MATERIALS DISCLOSED BY
 BORINGS, TEST PITS OR OTHER SUBSURFACE EXPLORATION MADE
 IN APPROPRIATE LOCATIONS. ADDITIONAL STUDIES SHALL BE
 MADE AS NECESSARY TO EVALUATE SLOPE STABILITY, SOIL
 STRENGTH, POSITION AND ADEQUACY OF LOAD-BEARING SOILS,
 THE EFFECT OF MOISTURE VARIATION ON SOIL-BEARING
 CAPACITY, COMPRESSIBILITY, LIQUEFACTION AND
 EXPANSIVENESS.
  
 3) THE DEMO PLAN A8D-1.01 INDICATES THE 1ST FLOOR DOORS
 AT THE NEW ELEVATED WALKWAY/ BREEZEWAY ARE GOING TO BE
 REMOVED. WE WILL BE NEEDING 2 COPIES OF PRODUCT

 4) 2010 FBC 107.3.4.1 PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCTS
 WHICH ARE REGULATED BY THE DCA RULE 9N-03 SHALL BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
 FL 61G1-23.015 (2) THE ARCHITECT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
 SUPERVISING AND REVIEWING ALL PROJECT DATA, REPORTS,
 SHOP DRAWINGS ETC..
  
 5) NOTE: CODE COMPLIANT. FBC-B 3104.5 PEDESTRIAN
 WALKWAY- BUILDING INTERFACE EXCEPTION # 2 IS MET 2. THE
 DISTANCE BETWEEN THE CONNECTED BUILDINGS IS MORE THAN
 10 FEET (3048 MM) AND BOTH SIDEWALLS OF THE PEDESTRIAN
 WALKWAY ARE AT LEAST 50 PERCENT OPEN WITH THE OPEN AREA
 UNIFORMLY DISTRIBUTED TO PREVENT THE ACCUMULATION OF
 SMOKE AND TOXIC GASES. THIS CONCEPT IS SYNONYMOUS WITH
 THAT USED FOR OPEN PARKING STRUCTURES.
  
 6) WE WILL NEED THE MANUFACTURERS SPECIFICATION FOR THE
 ELEVATOR AND HOISTWAY TO DETERMINE IF:
 6A) A SUMP AND PIT ARE REQUIRED (712.3.2 PLUMBING)
 6B) IF HYDROLIC 1003.4 SEE EXCEPTION OIL SENSOR &
 APPROVED ALRAM SYSTEM (1003.4)
 6C) VENTING: 3006.2 VENTING.
 ELEVATOR MACHINE ROOMS THAT CONTAIN SOLID-STATE
 EQUIPMENT FOR ELEVATOR OPERATION SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH
 AN INDEPENDENT VENTILATION OR AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM
 TO PROTECT AGAINST THE OVERHEATING OF THE ELECTRICAL
 EQUIPMENT.
 THE SYSTEM SHALL BE CAPABLE OF MAINTAINING TEMPERATURES
 WITHIN THE RANGE ESTABLISHED FOR THE ELEVATOR
 EQUIPMENT.
  
 7) SHEET SA-1.01 APPEARS TO HAVE A CRICKET BUILT
 AGAINST THE ELEVATOR TOWER, SHEET 8A-4.11 DETAIL # 2
 DOES NOT INDICATE OF WHAT TYPE MATERIAL IT IS
 CONSTRUCTED OR ROOF COVERING? SHEET S-3 DOES NOT SHOW
 IT AT ALL. 2010 FBC-B 1503.6 CRICKETS AND SADDLES.
 A CRICKET OR SADDLE SHALL BE INSTALLED ON THE RIDGE
 SIDE OF ANY CHIMNEY OR PENETRATION GREATER THAN 30
 INCHES (762 MM) WIDE AS MEASURED PERPENDICULAR TO THE
 SLOPE. CRICKET OR SADDLE COVERINGS SHALL BE SHEET METAL
 OR OF THE SAME MATERIAL AS THE ROOF COVERING.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION &
 REMOVE & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL
 LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH
 A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE
 SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE
