 1A) THE PERMIT APPLICATION INDICATES THE ADDRESS AS
 6007 S DIXIE NO SUITE HAS BEEN PROVIDED ON THE PERMIT
 APPLICATION NOR PLANS. 107.2.1 INFORMATION ON
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE
 DIMENSIONED AND DRAWN UPON SUITABLE
 MATERIALCONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE OF SUFFICIENT
 CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE AND EXTENT OF
 THE WORK PROPOSED.
  
 1B) THE DESIGNER OF RECORD HAS NOT INDICATED TO WHAT
 METHOD OF COMPLIANCE UNDER THE 2010 EXISTING BUILDING
 CODE THIS PLANS WAS DEVELOPED.
 101.5 COMPLIANCE METHODS.
 THE REPAIR, ALTERATION, CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY, ADDITION
 OR RELOCATION OF ALL EXISTING BUILDINGS SHALL COMPLY
 WITH ONE OF THE METHODS LISTED IN SECTIONS 101.5.1
 THROUGH 101.5.3 AS SELECTED BY THE APPLICANT.
 APPLICATION OF A METHOD SHALL BE THE SOLE BASIS FOR
 ASSESSING THE COMPLIANCE OF WORK PERFORMED UNDER A
 SINGLE PERMIT UNLESS OTHERWISE APPROVED BY THE CODE
 OFFICIAL. SECTIONS 101.5.1 THROUGH 101.5.3 SHALL NOT BE
 APPLIED IN COMBINATION WITH EACH OTHER.
  
 EXCEPTION: SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE CODE
 OFFICIAL, ALTERATIONS COMPLYING WITH THE LAWS IN
 EXISTENCE AT THE TIME THE BUILDING OR THE AFFECTED
 PORTION OF THE BUILDING WAS BUILT SHALL BE CONSIDERED
 IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE UNLESS
 THE BUILDING IS UNDERGOING MORE THAN A LIMITED
 STRUCTURAL ALTERATION AS DEFINED IN SECTION 807.4.3.
 NEW STRUCTURAL MEMBERS ADDED AS PART OF THE ALTERATION
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
 ALTERATIONS OF EXISTING BUILDINGS IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS
 SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 601.3.
  
 101.5.1 PRESCRIPTIVE COMPLIANCE METHOD.
 REPAIRS, ALTERATIONS, ADDITIONS AND CHANGES OF
 OCCUPANCY COMPLYING WITH CHAPTER 3 OF THIS CODE IN
 BUILDINGS COMPLYING WITH THE FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION
 CODE SHALL BE CONSIDERED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE.
  
 101.5.2 WORK AREA COMPLIANCE METHOD.
 REPAIRS, ALTERATIONS, ADDITIONS, CHANGES IN OCCUPANCY
 AND RELOCATED BUILDINGS COMPLYING WITH THE APPLICABLE
 REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTERS 4 THROUGH 12 OF THIS CODE
 SHALL BE CONSIDERED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS
 OF THIS CODE.
  
 101.5.3 PERFORMANCE COMPLIANCE METHOD.
 REPAIRS, ALTERATIONS, ADDITIONS, CHANGES IN OCCUPANCY
 AND RELOCATED BUILDINGS COMPLYING WITH CHAPTER 13 OF
 THIS CODE SHALL BE CONSIDERED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE.
  
 2) DISCREPANCY IN PLANS THE PLANS INDICATE THAT IT WAS
 DESIGNED UNDER ASCE 7-07 WHICH IS WIND DESIGN UNDER THE
 2007 FBC, WE ARE CURRENTLY IN THE 2010 FBC. THE SECOND
 ISSUE IS THE PLAN IS ALSO DESIGNED UNDER THE
 RESIDENTIAL CODE. MERCANTILE AND BUSINESS OCCUPANCIES
 FALL UNDER THE 2010 FBC-B. 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 3) THE PLANS INDICATE A NEW WALL & 32 INCH WIDE DOOR,
 PLEASE COMPLY WITH 2010 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II
 701.3. COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS,
 COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
 2010 FBC-B 1008.1.1 SIZE OF DOORS.
 THE MINIMUM WIDTH OF EACH DOOR OPENING SHALL BE
 SUFFICIENT FOR THE OCCUPANT LOAD THEREOF AND SHALL
 PROVIDE A CLEAR WIDTH OF 32 INCHES (813 MM). CLEAR
 OPENINGS OF DOORWAYS WITH SWINGING DOORS SHALL BE
 MEASURED BETWEEN THE FACE OF THE DOOR AND THE STOP,
 WITH THE DOOR OPEN 90 DEGREES (1.57 RAD). TO ACHIEVE
 THIS MINIMUM CLEAR MEASUREMENT THE MINIMUM DOOR SIZE
 WOULD BE A 2'-10" DOOR.
  
 4) PLANS ALSO DO NOT PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH 2010 FBC-B
 1006.1.6.2 BATTERY-OPERATED ELECTRIC LIGHTS AND OTHER
 TYPES OF PORTABLE LAMPS OR LANTERNS SHALL NOT BE USED
 FOR PRIMARY ILLUMINATION OF MEANS OF EGRESS.
 BATTERY-OPERATED ELECTRIC LIGHTS SHALL BE PERMITTED TO
 BE USED AS AN EMERGENCY SOURCE TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED
 UNDER SECTION 1006.2.3.4.
