 PLEASE RESPOND IN WRITING.
  
 1) THE OPEN SPACE DATA PROVIDED ON THE LANDSCAPE TABLE
 IS INCORRECT. THERE IS MUCH MORE THAN 6,194 SQUARE FEET
 OF OPEN SPACE ON THE SITE. THE CITY DEFINES OPEN SPACE
 AS ANY AREA NOT OCCUPIED BY A BUILDING. PLEASE
 RECALCULATE THE AMOUNT OF REQUIRED LANDSCAPE MATERIAL.
  
 2) PROVIDE VERIFICATION THAT FOUR (4) SQUARE FEET OF
 LANDSCAPE AREA ARE PROVIDED FOR EVERY 100 SQUARE FEET
 OF VEHICLE USE AREA.
  
 3) PROVIDE DIMENSIONS ON THE PLAN FOR ALL OF THE
 LANDSCAPE BUFFERS AND LANDSCAPE PARKING LOT ISLANDS.
  
 4) ALL LANDSCAPE ISLANDS SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF FIVE (5)
 FEET IN PLANTED WIDTH AND PROTECTED FROM VEHICULAR
 ENCROACHMENT BY A TYPE "D" CURB.
  
 5) THE DRIVE AISLES ARE TO BE A MINIMUM 24 FEET IN
 WIDTH. THIS STANDARD IS NOT MET BEHIND THE PARKING
 SPACES IN THE NORTH/SOUTH PARKING ROW WEST OF THE
 BUILDING (CONTAINS ADA SPACES) AND THE LANDSCAPE
 ISLAND.
  
 6) THE WIDTH FROM THE SIDEWALK NORTH OF THE WESTERN
 PORTION OF THE BUILDING TO THE NORTHERN PROPERTY LINE
 APPEARS TO BE 63 FEET (SCALED FROM PLANS - SURVEY TO
 VERIFY). THIS PERMITS 2 PARKING ROWS OF 18 FOOT DEPTH,
 A 24 FOOT WIDE DRIVE AISLE AND THREE (3) FEET OF
 LANDSCAPE BUFFER WITH A HEDGE AND SMALL PALM TREES
 ALONG CONNISTON ROAD. IF THE VEHICLE OVERHANG PROVISION
 OF THE CODE IS USED, THEN THE BUFFER CAN BE WIDENED TO
 ACCOMMODATE THE TWO (2) FOOT OVERHANG, WITH THE HEDGE
 AND PALM TREES STILL IN THE THREE (3) FOOT WIDE
 LANDSCAPE BUFFER PORTION OF THE PLANTING STRIP.
  
 7) PROVIDE A FIVE (5) FOOT WIDE LANDSCAPE BUFFER ALONG
 THE ENTIRE WESTERN PROPERTY LINE. THE THREE PARKING
 SPACES AGAINST THE BUILDING SHALL BE SHIFTED TO THE
 EAST IN ORDER FOR A FIVE (5) FOOT DEEP BACK-OUT ASSIST
 AREA TO BE CREATED OUTSIDE OF THE LANDSCAPE BUFFER. THE
 TERMINAL ISLAND/BUFFER AGAINST THE WEST SIDE OF THESE
 SPACES WILL BE WIDER THAN FIVE (5) FEET.
  
 8) THE NEW CHECK VALVE AND ITS SCREENING SHALL BE SHOWN
 ON THE LANDSCAPE PLANS.
  
 9) THE TRIPSACUM FLORIDANUM (FLORIDA GAMAGRASS) MAY NOT
 BE USED IN THE ENTIRE ISLAND AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF
 THE SITE AS THIS AREA IS IN THE VISIBILITY TRIANGLE. NO
 GROUNDCOVER OR SHRUBS MAY EXCEED 18 INCHES WITHIN THE
 VISIBILITY TRIANGLE (INCORRECTLY STATED ON THE NOTES
 TABLE). PLEASE INDICATE THE VISIBILITY TRIANGLE ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLANS AND SHOW AN ALTERNATE MATERIAL (EX.
 SOD, ANNUALS, ETC. WITHIN THIS AREA). THE ENTIRE ISLAND
 SHALL BE LANDSCAPED, INCLUDING AT THE BASE OF THE SIGN.
  
 10) THE PARKING SPACES IN THE NORTH/SOUTH PARKING ROW
 WEST OF THE BUILDING (CONTAINS ADA SPACES) SHALL BE
 TERMINATED BY A LANDSCAPE ISLAND.
  
 11) THE PARKING SPACES IN THE NORTH/SOUTH PARKING ROW
 EAST OF THE BUILDING (SOUTH END) AND THE PARKING ROW
 ALONG THE SOUTH PROPERTY LINE (WEST END) SHALL BE
 TERMINATED BY A LANDSCAPE ISLAND CONTAINING A TERMINAL
 ISLAND TREE.
  
 12) THE SOUTHERN LANDSCAPE BUFFER, EAST OF THE BUILDING
 AND FOR THE EAST PARKING LOT, SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF
 FIVE (5) FEET IN WIDTH FOR ITS ENTIRE LENGTH, SUBJECT
 TO EXISTING PARKING LOT DIMENSIONS NOT PERMITTING IT.
 THIS WILL BE VERIFIED WITH THE SURVEY, SPECIFICALLY
 STARTING ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE NORTHERN LANDSCAPE
 BUFFER CURB AND MOVING SOUTH ACROSS THE SITE (THREE
 ROWS OF PARKING AND TWO DRIVE AISLES). PLEASE CONSIDER
 THE OPTION OF USING THE TWO FOOT OVERHANG ALONG THE
 SOUTH PARKING ROW.
  
 13) THE MIDDLE PARKING AREA EAST OF THE BUILDING SHALL
 BE TERMINATED BY LANDSCAPE ISLANDS ON BOTH SIDES. THERE
 IS ADEQUATE ROOM IF THE PARKING SPACES ARE STRIPED AT
 NINE (9) FEET WIDE (INSTEAD OF TEN AS SHOWN) AND THE
 EASTERNMOST NORTH/SOUTH DRIVE AISLE IS REDUCED TO 20
 FEET IN WIDTH (MINIMUM NEEDED FOR TWO WAY TRAFFIC WITH
 NO PARKING BACKING INTO THE DRIVE AISLE).
  
 14) PROVIDE VERIFICATION THAT A MINIMUM OF 30% OF THE
 LINEAR FEET AROUND THE BUILDING CONTAINS FOUNDATION
 PLANTING.
  
 15) A HEDGE IS REQUIRED AROUND THE DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE.
  
 16) THE NOTES TABLE OF THE LANDSCAPE PLAN SHALL BE
 CORRECTED TO REFERENCE THE CURRENT CITY OF WEST PALM
 BEACH LANDSCAPE SECTIONS (94-441 THROUGH 448) AND TO
 REFERENCE THAT IRRIGATION SHALL HAVE 120% COVERAGE.
  
 17) THE CITY REQUIRES THAT THE TOP OF THE ROOTBALL
 SHALL BE SLIGHTLY ABOVE THE FINISHED GRADE AT PLANTING,
 NOT AT THE FINISHED GRADE AS STATED ON THE PLANNING
 SPECIFICATIONS AND THAT THE THREE (3) INCHES OF MULCH
 SHALL BE AWAY FROM THE TRUNK OF THE TREE.
  
 18) THE TWO ADONIDIA PALMS SHALL NOT BE SHOWN IN THE
 A/C ENCLOSURE, BUT IN THEIR FINAL LOCATION.
