 803.2 INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED. GEOTECHNICAL
 INVESTIGATIONS SHALL BE CONDUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 SECTIONS 1803.3 THROUGH 1803.5.
  
 3) THIS BUILDING IS CLASSIFIED AS A LL-B BUILDING,
 PLEASE CONTACT THE MANAGER OF RESIDENT INSPECTORS TO
 SEE IF A RESIDENT INSPECTOR WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THIS

 REQUIRED.
 1.3. ROOF CONSTRUCTION, INCLUDING GIRDERS, TRUSSES,
 FRAMING AND DECKING.
  
 5) 2304.9.5.4 FASTENERS FOR FIRE-RETARDANT-TREATED WOOD
 USED IN INTERIOR APPLICATIONS.
 FASTENERS FOR FIRE-RETARDANT-TREATED WOOD USED IN
 INTERIOR LOCATIONS SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 MANUFACTURER?S RECOMMENDATIONS. IN THE ABSENCE OF
 MANUFACTURER?S RECOMMENDATIONS, SECTION 2304.9.5.3
 SHALL APPLY.
  
 6) SHEET S3.0 PROVIDES DETAILS FOR STEM WALL
 CONSTRUCTION AND NOTES FOR VAPOR BARRIER BENEATH THE
 SLAB BUT THERE IS NO MENTION OF HOW TERMITE PROTECTION
 WILL BE ACHIEVED, SEE 2010 FBC-B 1816.1.
  
 7) SHEET S8.0 IDENTIFIES THE BASE CODE 2009 IBC AS THE
 REFERENCED CODE, PLEASE CORRECT TO THE 2010 FBC-B THE
 WIND DESIGN CRITERIA IS CORRECT, PLEASE PROVIDE WIND
 PRESSURES FOR COMPONENTS AND CLADDING AT 10 SQ FT, 20
 SQ FT AS WELL AS THE 50 SQ FT IN BOTH VULT AND VASD.
 FLORIDAS PRODUCT APPROVALS ARE IN VASD. PLEASE NOTE WE
 USE 10 SQ FT AS THE WORST CASE FOR ROOF FASTENERS.

 12) PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 2010 FBC-B 1408.3
 STRUCTURAL DESIGN.
 THE UNDERLYING STRUCTURAL FRAMING AND SUBSTRATE SHALL
 BE DESIGNED AND CONSTRUCTED TO RESIST LOADS AS REQUIRED
 BY CHAPTER 16.
 1408.4 WEATHER RESISTANCE.
 EIFS SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 1403 AND SHALL BE
 DESIGNED AND CONSTRUCTED TO RESIST WIND AND RAIN IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THIS SECTION AND THE MANUFACTURER?S
 APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS.
 1408.4.1 EIFS WITH DRAINAGE.
 EIFS WITH DRAINAGE SHALL HAVE AN AVERAGE MINIMUM
 DRAINAGE EFFICIENCY OF 90 PERCENT WHEN TESTED IN
 ACCORDANCE THE REQUIREMENTS OF ASTM E 2273 AND IS
 REQUIRED ON FRAMED WALLS OF TYPE V CONSTRUCTION, GROUP
 R1, R2, R3 AND R4 OCCUPANCIES.
 1408.4.1.1 WATER-RESISTIVE BARRIER.
 FOR EIFS WITH DRAINAGE, THE WATER-RESISTIVE BARRIER
 SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 1404.2 OR ASTM E 2570.
 1408.5 INSTALLATION.
 INSTALLATION OF THE EIFS AND EIFS WITH DRAINAGE SHALL
 BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE EIFS MANUFACTURER?S
 INSTRUCTIONS.
  
 13) PROVIDE FLASHING DETAILS FOR WINDOWS AND DOORS,
 2010 FBC-B 1405.4. FLASHING SHALL BE INSTALLED IN SUCH
 A MANNER SO AS TO PREVENT MOISTURE FROM ENTERING THE
 WALL OR TO REDIRECT IT TO THE EXTERIOR. FLASHING SHALL
 BE INSTALLED AT THE PERIMETERS OF EXTERIOR DOOR AND
 WINDOW ASSEMBLIES, PENETRATIONS AND TERMINATIONS OF
 EXTERIOR WALL ASSEMBLIES, EXTERIOR WALL INTERSECTIONS
 WITH ROOFS, CHIMNEYS, PORCHES, DECKS, BALCONIES AND
 SIMILAR PROJECTIONS AND AT BUILT-IN GUTTERS AND SIMILAR
 LOCATIONS WHERE MOISTURE COULD ENTER THE WALL.
  
 14) SHEET S2.0 PROVIDES A LAYOUT OF THE TRUSSES AND
 GIRDERS, THE PLANS DOES NOT SHOW HOW THE UPLIFT LOADS
 ARE GOING TO BE TRANSFERRED INTO THE WALLS AND MWFRS.
 PROVIDE LOADS TO BE REISTED, PLEASE ALSO PROVIDE WHAT
 ADDITIONAL TRUSS HARDWARE BEARING CLIPS ETC FOR THE RED
 S BUILT TRUSS SYSTEM.
  
 15) THIS BUILDING IS BEING DESIGNED AS A TYPE II-B
 BUILDING WHICH REQUIRES FIRE RETARANT WOOD WITHIN THE
 FRAMING MEMBERS AS WELL AS TRUSSES. WILL THE RED BUILT
 TRUSS SYSTEM COME AS A FIRE RETARDANT TREATED MATERIAL
 OR WOULD THE TREATMENT OCCUR IN THE FIELD? WILL THIS
 VOID THE WARRENTY.
  
 16) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE
 REVISION & REMOVE & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS NECESSARY. A
 TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT
 NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE,
 IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE
 CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT.
