 APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS. PUMPS OR EJECTORS THAT
 RECEIVE THE DISCHARGE OF WATER CLOSETS SHALL BE CAPABLE
 OF HANDLING SPHERICAL SOLIDS WITH A DIAMETER OF UP TO
 AND INCLUDING 2 INCHES (51 MM). OTHER PUMPS OR EJECTORS

 MATERIALS, SHALL HAVE A SMOOTH, SLIP-RESISTANT FINISH,
 AND SHALL SLOPE TO FLOOR DRAINS. CARPETS, DUCKBOARDS
 AND FOOT-BATHS ARE PROHIBITED. THE INTERSECTION BETWEEN
 THE FLOOR AND WALLS SHALL BE COVED WHERE EITHER FLOOR
 OR WALL IS NOT MADE OF WATERPROOF MATERIALS SUCH AS
 TILE OR VINYL.
