 2010 FL EXST BLDG CODE 301.2.1 EXISTING MATERIALS.
 MATERIALS ALREADY IN USE IN A BUILDING IN COMPLIANCE
 WITH REQUIREMENTS OR APPROVALS IN EFFECT AT THE TIME OF
 THEIR ERECTION OR INSTALLATION SHALL BE PERMITTED TO
 REMAIN IN USE UNLESS DETERMINED BY THE CODE OFFICIAL TO
 BE DANGEROUS TO LIFE, HEALTH OR SAFETY. WHERE SUCH
 CONDITIONS ARE DETERMINED TO BE DANGEROUS TO LIFE,
 HEALTH OR SAFETY, THEY SHALL BE MITIGATED OR MADE SAFE.
 THE DEMOLITION PLANS SHOW THE LOCATION OF THE PLUMBING
 FIXTURES, WHEN THEY ARE MOVED IT NO LONGER IS EXISTING
 BUT CONSIDERED NEW WORK AND NEEDS TO COMPLY WITH THE
 2010 FBC-PLUMBING.
  
 2010 FL EXST BLDG CODE 301.2.2 NEW AND REPLACEMENT
 MATERIALS.
 EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE REQUIRED OR PERMITTED BY THIS CODE,
 MATERIALS PERMITTED BY THE APPLICABLE CODE FOR NEW
 CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE USED. LIKE MATERIALS SHALL BE
 PERMITTED FOR REPAIRS AND ALTERATIONS, PROVIDED NO
 HAZARD TO LIFE, HEALTH OR PROPERTY IS CREATED.
 HAZARDOUS MATERIALS SHALL NOT BE USED WHERE THE CODE
 FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION WOULD NOT PERMIT THEIR USE IN
 BUILDINGS OF SIMILAR OCCUPANCY, PURPOSE AND LOCATION.

 WATER HEATER THE ELECTRICAL PLANS INDICATE THE USE OF
 INGIT OR WATER HEATER, LOCATION, SIZE, GAS OR ELECTRIC?

 2) SHEET P-5 SHOWS THEAUTOMATIC CLOTHES WASHER WASTE
 BEING PUMPED INTO THE BUILDING DRAIN BY USE OF A SUMP
 PUMP. THERE ARE TWO ISSUES:
 2A) PLEASE PROVIDE THE MANUFACTURERS SPECIFICATION FOR
 THIS SUMP PUMP FOR SIZE AND FLOW RATE CAPACITY AS WELL
 AS THE CLOTHES WASHER PUMP DISCHARGE FLOW RATE TO
 VERIFY THE SIZING OF THE SUMP PUMP WILL HAVE ENOUGH
 CAPACITY TO ACCEPT THE DISCHARGE. P 712.3.1 SUMP PUMP
 CAPACITY AND HEAD SHALL BE APPROPRIATE TO ANTIIPATE USE
 REQUIREMENTS.
  
 2B) SHEET P-5 NOTE ON THIS SHEET " SUMP PUMP TO CONNECT
 TO THE EXISTING SANITARY LINE, CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY THE
 SIZE & LOCATION AT SITE. THERE ARE STRICT REQUIREMENTS
 FOR THE TIEING INTO THE BUILDING SEWER OR BUILDING
 DRAIN. 2010 FBC-P 712.3.5 EJECTOR CONNECTION TO THE
 DRAINAGE SYSTEM.
 PUMPS CONNECTED TO THE DRAINAGE SYSTEM SHALL CONNECT TO
 THE BUILDING SEWER OR SHALL CONNECT TO A WYE FITTING IN
 THE BUILDING DRAIN A MINIMUM OF 10 FEET (3048 MM) FROM
 THE BASE OF ANY SOIL STACK, WASTE STACK OR FIXTURE
 DRAIN. WHERE THE DISCHARGE LINE CONNECTS INTO
 HORIZONTAL DRAINAGE PIPING, THE CONNECTOR SHALL BE MADE
 THROUGH A WYE FITTING INTO THE TOP OF THE DRAINAGE
 PIPING.
